Yeah im a Vader main have been for yrs to me his health is wat gives him the edge over other heros and alot of ppl play him in a cheap way always blocking waiting till his focused rage comes back and for his choke banking on his health buff to me u get rid of his extra health card and he's okay or get rid of his focused rage but to me he's more OP wen vs a blaster hero over a thousand hp is hard to take down a good Vader will make easy work of that but against saber heros I think he's fair but as long as the Vader player is honorable in a 1v1 not using his extra health card and being a cheap player spam block and waiting for his abilities come back but thats the thing most players abuse that to the full which is sad and why I see alot of ppl dislike and hate on Vader players and rightfully so those kinds of cheap players give Vader a bad name and I often get double teamed and singled out on HvV wen I player Vader so to me in that since he's not OP vs 2 or more players at a time justifys his health and damage but thats just my opinion liked the video man keep up the good work showing how this game and characters are being played and changing 🤘

I would see myself as a good duelist but sometimes when I’m dueling others it just gets so boring and frustrating due to the fact that some people are just so constantly afraid to engage in some type of fight they constantly back away holding block and never attempt to strike or even parry they’re just there to play defense
I know exactly what you mean especially anakin players play very safe when they are almost defeated so maybe they can pull you and kill you like a pussy. And I'm seriously probably one of the best duelist in this game and ive mett a few good players who just played like that after i took a lot of their health and most of the time they just waited for me to make a mistake so they can kill me like a pussy. When someone plays like that it just means that you are better then him and that he or she is a pussy and that they just want to win. I think next time I'm gonna met players like that I'm just gonna leave 😂

Yeah, i consider myself to be really good, and have fought some amazing duelist in our community but nowdays its just frustrating that everyone relies so much on parrying, making you attack and do careless moves only to get parried

I used to think claw rush was stupid op but you can parry it like a regular saber swing.
they shouldn't have nurfed his claw rush though, his abilities are pretty much useless and can be dealt with. I can party his claw rush, thrust surge(which is laggy asff) and his stamina is the worst in the entire game. grevious is trash now and that ability was the only thing making him relevant in 1v1s

I played against a Luke that just uses the repulsion or force push in the ledge to get an easy kill, which the heroes was be able to catch up on eliminations but I had the last laugh pulling the annoying Luke with kylo’s ren force pull into the pit and won the game with his last elimination. P.s. he kept blocking and running away

You just have to know how to counter him.
For instance,
as Obi-Wan I tend to dash through my opponent if they are Vader.
If You know how to dash, you can kick ass.
(Also I play Vader to level him up.)
I’m cool with vader being OP since he’s Vader but why are other heroes not as strong as they should be? Obi-Wans mind trick is almost useless after the nerf and it has twice as long of a cool down than Vader focused rage. And why does Yoda have the slowest swing speed in the game? On top of that Anakins abilities can all bug out randomly and his passionate strike is too situational to be a good 3rd ability

I'm a just say Yoda is the counter to Vader if you know how to parry with him because landing all your parrys and hitting with 3 dashes he just stands no chance , coming from a Yoda main I suggest ppl take time to get better with , yoda cause no one ever uses him , shit I clap in duels with yoda
If the vader player isn't that good then yoda can definitely be a good counter but against good players who also know how to parry it's quite impossible to defeat them especially if they parry your sprint attack (both get hit)
I used him quite a bit but didn't get used to his swing speed and push. Always tried to swing, parry, or push, and they do something in that split second that screws me. Think the idea with Yoda is move move move.
I agree it makes it all the more difficult but alot of practice, a good combo after I parry down alot of my stam I dash thru , to juke + dmg then when they chase push and finish with dash again or/parry and ofcourse stay mobile with yoda always it even says use his small size to your advantage 😂
Vader is my SBF2 “Thanos”. Don’t even get me started with the “choke lift” thing.
IMO anyone that has to use Bonus Health and Furious Resilience together as Vader for Hero Showdown is an absolute coward.
Nobody should need 1100 health with a 25% damage reduction to 1v1 someone.
To solve the problem I never pick Vader to 1v1 someone, unless he is the only saber left

@@Jits75 Playing as and fighting a Vader is fine, but you take away his health cards it's a much more fair fight. With those 2 cards he can take up to 4 additional lightsaber swings, which is pretty damn unfair if you ask me.
Personally I don't use those health cards for Hero Showdown because I actually want my opponent to have a fighting chance.

I always beat Vader's but i rarely ever uses him in my experience to counter Vader I recommend using yoda and a aggressive/evasive tactic but it is really hard, might take some practice
Try obi one I use a mind trick to all out push strategy.
Yeah Obi-Wan or Rey are decent, both mind tricks can mess with me personally as Vader.

Fun fact: When Vader/Mauls saber through ones back and hits their back, it brakes their block so if you time it right you can force choke them as it hits their back, I discovered this in CO-OP.
P.S. Since I found it in CO.OP the A.I. might have just dropped its block, idk.
You're right, and it's not just in co-op. But the timing needs to be perfect for it to work.

Luke han and leia are also definitely op. And palpatine is only really op in a 1vs1 because it's very hart to hitt him but against more people he isn't op. And yoda definitely also sucks against multiple enemies especially because it takes ages to do something after you pressed attack. But against 1 enemie he can be quite good. I recently fought against a very good vader player with yoda and i pretty much destroyed him, but also at one point i did a mistake and i lost almost my hole helth. But if you play safe and wait for the enemy to make mistakes he can be quite good.

@@Vuel79 yes I agree. I just met a palpating that was literally running away from me, even without attacking me!. That was with the dark side, with the light side he was Luke and the only thing he did was running and pull out of the map. There was a moment where I was against Obi and Luke (he), Obi wan started facing me like normal people but Luke started running away.
The two moments we had for dueling he ran away too. These type of people are so useless...
I think my conclusion is that most people (97%) plays the same way with both heroes and villains. And you can encounter this type of people.
Another conclusion from my experience is that if someone is strong with one side of the force then he is weaker with the other side, I haven’t seen any exceptions.

I have to say that I'm a pretty decent bf2 player. I win some I lose some but I feel pretty confident I'm my bf2 play. And yeah vader is strong but I have to say that I have beaten so many vader's with Mary Sue.... I mean rey skywal.... Rey palpa.. let's just call her daisy. Point is in my opinion the skywalker wanna be is, for me at least, the counter to a vader. But yeah vader is a tough sum bitch.

Yeah for real, if it was cheating then people wouldn’t beat him at any point, and I’ve come across many Vaders that get beaten just as easy as any others. It’s not about the character, it’s about the person playing them- and if you think the character is cheating then it’s just the fact that you ain’t good enough to beat them.

Im actually glad that EA lost the licence for Star Wars games, cause SW Battlefront II is such a broken game, blasterheroes are so overpowered, especially Phasma...idk why EA decided to make the blasterheroes stronger than the Lightsaber-heroes, but its just EA programing.

Ive learned alot from you, bazar, and i feel really good about myself, for realizing Vader is OP in the first few HvV matches i had. He is OP and cheap, and its finally a thing to discuss, on the bazaar of stars. Palp and solo are broken aswell, i wish u would showcase that aswell. I guess most of ur audience plays more HvV than showdown anyways. Its easier to find somewhat playable matches.

Yes people are figuring it out. It’s like for honor. Parrying when the game came out made you good. Now you have to throw feints, parries, and 50/50’s among other things just to keep up.

I Tried Getting Duels. After 15 matches trying i Got tired and alt+F4 out of the game.. Players getting Toxic, playing rude.
Unfortunately
You said you don't hit the first parry because it doesn't go through. But that's not it. The parry works only in a short frame when they already connected. If you time the press(which you can't with a suprise first one) you will do it.
Tip don't even try the first one unless you predicted the timing of that hit, never as a response on him hitting. Sounds weird but yes if you could have counted for the connect/parry, no if you couldn't have timed the first hit.
Bazaar I think you should replace fierce fighter with raw strength when using Anakin. The extra 50 damage comes in handy

At times I have been able to win 2v1 to 3v1’s with Darth Vader, he is an incredible villain to play as and can take on multiple Jedi at once.
That’s why I agree that Vader is unfair in 1v1’s, he is just to powerful for any one hero to fight against.
Luke can take him if you are good at being fast and maneuvering around and getting behind the player
I don’t know I feel Darth Vader in a 1v1 is pretty overrated ever since that patch once his stamina is gone he’s useless just watch out for his choke a good Darth Vader player saves it for when he’s out if he misses it that’s usually a rip and of course the focus rage spam is why Yoda is the best hero to combat him as well as Rey & Obi to take the most out of staminaless Vader with Mind Trick just perfect your jump swings
Its still very hard to defeat a very good vader, and i am a very good duelist in this game so I know what I'm talking about

I understand your discomfort playing(winning) with Vader, Star Bazaar, but this is why you never start with him; with how powerful he is, you gotta save him for last in showdown matches, since he’s basically one-note with his health and damage, as well as allowing you to learn other characters before you play him.
I dunno man, using Retribution ain't bad in 1v1, it's like using a Choke, or Mauls Choke and Push, but with Anakin... but to each his own

Vader isn't so much overpowered as he is easy, he's very simple to duel with and very forgiving if you fuck up, that said his skill ceiling is certainly not as high as say a very skilled dooku, I'm not just saying this in defence of a main I personally favour maul as he's just a lot of fun, just saying once you get used to how to duel him Vader isn't even the scariest hero on the dark side, if you have trouble beating him I find Kenobi to be a effective counter as while Vader has better health you have just about everything else on him especially stamina, you can also surprisingly do very well against Vader with Yoda because while his health is high his health regen is kinda bad and if you manage your dashes you can just keep poking away at him and not ever let him recover, though admittedly this is difficult and risky and you should be confident dueling with Yoda before you try it

How’s your favourite
HvV is still pretty easy compared to CS/GA imo. I rarely play as heroes in CS/GA but it's pretty easy to rank in the top 3 in HvV (and I've only been playing HvV for about a week). I will say that I've probably watched all of the lightsaber combat how-to videos from the top BF2 channels, so that might have helped lol.
Honnestly i dont like to use vader in 1v1, as you said he's too tanky... I preffer to be more strategic with Obi-Wan or Count Dooku, and im better with them... Vader is more for caotic modes like HvV...

Darth Vader: *GO DARK SIDE.*
I’m not gonna say Vader is OP, because he is, but what’s also the problem is how bad the Light Side Heroes are in comparison to the Dark Side. The only thing that Light Side has against Dark Side are knockdowns. That’s about it. Unless the other team is bad, Dark Side will constantly win. Today got nerfed to the grave and so did Anakin, which from what I heard he actually needed the nerf. I’m mostly talking HvV here, since in HS it isn’t AS one-sided.
You wanna know who ALSO needs a nerf that nobody is talking about? Dooku. Dooku needs a nerf in his damage. With the right set of cards, Dooku can THREE TAP Chewbacca and TWO OR THREE TAP everyone else. Someone else who needs to be nerfed is Boba as he is just plain annoying to deal with due to how long his jet pack can last and save him. What I would nerf about Boba is his jet pack, but also buff Boba’s health so he can survive longer
As some one who hates using lightsabers, other than Grevious and Dooku, it’s magical watching duellist fights, usually in HVV I play Finn, Boba Fett or Captain Phasma
Vader is the god of hero’s on this game the strongest lol but I have beaten Vader I know how to counter him but it’s NOT easy

This is going to sound weird but the only time I win against vader players is with yoda, i use the tao cards that give you extra health and health regen. And also de extra dash one. Yoda is the only one that can get lost health back so you have to play him sort off with an in and dip type of playstile. Try it.
Yep Yoda is an anti-vador if you play him smart, and the fact that he can nullify the choke with his health regen ability is insane
He can be effective against vader but one big mistake that he can take a lot of health from you even without his choke

It may be a d*ck move to play Vader, but people shouldn't think of it like that. For instance there are people who love some characters, like Vader, so they almost always choose him, BUT on the other hand, yes, there are players who just pick him to win/harass the enemy...
Anakin and vader are amazing I 4v1ed as anakin with 300 health left vader I've 2v1ed plenty of times but jo opportunity for 3
I played as Vader in HvV. I joined a match late game. We had 10 lives left, and the enemy had 22. I played as Vader, and made a comeback, with 2 lives remaining. The video is on my channel. ✌🏻🏴
Death Vader is my counter to 4v1 lobbies. I’m only51, I can still come out on top, by 5k points, when every fight is 1v2

I haven't played Star Wars Battlefront 2, but I'm sure I'm gonna enjoy every second of me using Darth Vader.

Problem with this game is that holding L2 and dashing away is all you have to do to survive. If a player is washing your ass its soo easy just stop fighting back and never die. Retreating/turtling makes the game feel like a pain. If they make a BF3 they need to make a legit counter to blocking that only heroes have. That way if youre getting your ass beat you just lose, you're behind block? i grab. I shouldn't have to beat a guy 5 times as he runs and regens to get a win.

I'm pretty late to the Battlefront party, so either the people doing this are just kids or they're REALLY overconfident, but I constantly see Vader olayers thinking they can take on a whole team of 4 and getting shredded in seconds
I am crap with Vader. I'm not very good in general but even worse with Vader. Always runs out of stamina immediately. I don't really like using him but now I understans why everyone suddenly gangs up on me whenever I use him. 😂

NGL highest level cards are Vader and maul, Vader is cheeky; on the contrary, the light side I use anyone and merk Vader and, maul especially all the time. I play heroes v villains only because showdown Loki dead.
Vader is the most noob character in the game 😂, vader mains are the kinda people to get mad when you beat them and will message you crying about it. If they lose with vader they always see it as being your fault because of something, this could be then making up stuff saying they were lagging or that they weren’t trying and therefore it didn’t count
