Bottom up window shade in both doors! Yeah baby!
Nice little rig.
I like the way you just subtly drop that you've done over 6000 videos. Keep it up man. Happy holidays!
It’s been a long library in the works!
One of these with an F-150 hybrid tow package and 7.5kw 30A plug seems like a dream match for this one.
This is EXACTLY what I'm about to do....good call on your part too ;)
We have the 2022 model. Took it on a 13,000 miles trip this spring and it was great. The mid-bath is a bit annoying when both are trying to get ready to go out at the same time, but a small price to pay for the creative internal volume. We agreed on a signal - bathroom door unlatched - okay to pass through / bathroom door latched - keep out! We ordered the lighter wood and theater seats. Told our daughter to bring an air mattress and sleeping bag if she wants to come along. We have 2 190w solar panels and 2 lithium batteries. The combo works very well for boondocking. As to the behind the fridge storage, I crafted a shelf using the white vinyl coated style and Command hooks. I put the outdoor rug up there. Under are all the stabilizer legos, storage for the WDH bars, and other related items. I tow with a 2021 Chevy Silverado 1500 / 5.2l / 4x4 with the trailer towing package. I do have to be careful with cargo so as not to exceed 80% of payload. It does just fine getting about 11 mpg.
Wow THANK YOU for sharing this!!
Helpful - I'm about to get an F150 PB for this...a little concerned but it'll work out I think.
WOW....a near perfect couples camper. Love this one.
For 26ft it’s hard to beat
I love this one every time I see it. Great size for the places we camp, and I love a good walk thru bathroom!
😊
I like this exactly how you are showing it
Well then.. NAILED IT! 😆
We have this pretty much as you see it here, so far, we love it! Haven't had much of a chance to use it yet except for one quick trip before winter set in. It was cold and we were toasty! Definitely want to add an extra solar panel. We tow this with our F-150 (towing package) with no problem. Recommend this!
This was the original one I wanted. ❤️
Solid pick!
We have a 2021 version and love it
I only wish it was carpet less but that wasn’t a dealbreaker that it has the carpeted slides.
We use the storage behind the fridge for camp chairs and a easy up canopy. It’s a little snug but 4 chairs and the canopy will fit.
It was your video of the 2021 version that sold us on this model,
Keep up the good work Josh!!
Ty!!
We have the 2022 model of this. We're a family of 4, two kids under 10, and we have two 75lb dogs. We optioned with the hide-a-bed but took it out. We bought two King Camp folding cots for the kids to sleep on in the main slide. We do most of our dining outside, but we can eat inside if weather doesn't cooperate. Its a fantastic size trailer, and the bathroom layout is excellent for us. If I could change anything about it, it would be to add just enough length to it for a king bed.
We tow it with a 2016 F250 Power Stroke. Yes, it's heavy on the tongue. The listed 10% tongue weight is deceiving, we're closer to 14-15% when traveling.
What's the tow capacity of the 250? I would have thought it's plenty.
@@benkmarchant It definitely is plenty, no issues with payload or towing numbers.
We are getting ready to replace our theater seat with the trifold sofa for parents/grandkids who travel with us. Any problems getting the sofa out of the door? Thx.
thank you for sharing the info about towing. so much to know and learn.
@@user-sv9ni5ep7k the sofa came apart in pieces, so no issue.
Everything looks great from the video with the exception of ( my preference) a slam latch on ALL the exterior compartments.
Keep up the great job uncle Josh
👍🏻 lot of folks would like to see those from what I see
This color decor with the theater seating is perfect, and with that MaxxAir fan set on 2 or 3 there is virtually no lingering fajita Friday aroma✅
Josh, you are great!! Hours of videos! Laundry is piling up! We're barely going to work! If you want ridiculous entertainment, watch this video at half speed. 😂
Challenge accepted
😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣 I literally had to pause the video to laugh at the salad dressing joke!!! That was HILARIOUS!!!!!
You’re welcome 😂
We like this floor plan, very nice for our concerns.
Very nice little Rockwood mini😊😊👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Love a front kitchen.
This one looks great!
Knocking on the door of 200,000 subscribers! Way to go Josh!!
Thank you! There's a CHANCE i might clip it by the end of the year but I'm estimating we'll slip JUST short and roll into the mark early january
Wish they’d get rid of the second door and add more closet space or even washer/dryer option
Great idea!!
Awesome idea!!!
You DO have to get into that pump/filter area to winterize! You have to switch the valve in front of the pump from the "pull from the fresh tank" position to the "pull from the antifreeze bottle" position in order for that antifreeze connection to work!
Love this just way it is . Just love it.
Nice! Ty
Beautiful unit!!
Ty! One of my favorites :)
Another Rockwood RV loaded with quality standard features that is just a tiny radius shower and dual sewer hookups away from👍👍👍
I like this one with the private east/west bed for lots of closet space. And the fact the toilet is hidden is perfect, although would like to see a larger sink. Prefer the darker tones myself and leave the bedroom shade 1/2 open during the day. Thanks Josh for another great review. You know, you are popular even in Calgary. Most rv'er's have or are watching your channel.
Wow TY for letting me know! It never ceases to amaze me the widespread nature of the audience here! :)
I've often wondered why so many trailers floorplans have the master bed in the front of the camper, which puts you closest to the road, instead of the rear like this, which in many campgrounds, will have you atthe quiet end of the campsite? Seems like a great Floorplan with the negative of loosing the typical front pass through storage. And ditto the comment below - outside kitchen would be great,
The answer is slide outs
Older rvs had rear bedrooms
Then, Slides happened
That put a lot of hitch weight on the front
So they had to change things
Uncle Josh, if we were in the market for a couple`s camper option, this one would be it. I like the floor plan in a semi-short overall length. Rockwood / Flagstaff often have smart, thoughtful designed campers and this one is a big reason why. Very nice.
The larger front kitchen on this model is a plus! I like the way they put the exterior storage near the utility connections so all of your connection supplies are near the area where you need to use them. Still working on a plan for Uncle Gary's endoscopy storage though................
Hhaha
This is a great choice for frequent couples camping! We had a very similar layout in a 34' model that was a challenge to tow and maneuver through small town gas stations. If we actually traveled more this one would work very well! Good job Rockwood!
Josh, windshields have a bonded with a plastic sandwiched between glass which stick it all together!
Hi Josh. We love our 2022 model 2516. Few comments based on our experience: tongue weight is heavy and I wouldn’t go by the sticker. Agree with another commenters here it’s in the 900lb tongue range once you get your gear in it . I think this trailer will very quickly max out payload on most all 1/2 tons. We are glad to be towing with 3/4 ton diesel and very confident with it. For the trailer itself, we agree that can do without the bedroom door. Pretty much the only time we have it open is cleaning or warm days to let more air through. I can count on one hand how many times actually use it as the in and out door. The shades in the door I don’t think matters because there is no way to access those shades with the door closed. The inside screen door prevents any access to move the shade in any direction. So the improvement here would be to somehow make it accessible to move the shade with the door closed. Lastly, the outdoor storage doors I wish were slam latch. Those flimsy thumb knob thingys are a pain. Slam latch would also be better if had a taller door behind the tall fridge outside cabinet. In that one is where we store our outdoor mat/carpets, camp chairs, beach umbrella, etc. works good for those tall or long items.
We don’t have any issues with the shower size. We are 6 footers and yes it’s tight but the shower works for us compared to some other showers in similar length trailers. It’s doable in our opinion, not a showstopper, but I wouldn’t turn down a larger shower if it were available.
Overall we love this trailer, and we love your channel Josh.
Yeah the only way to know real tongue weight is to have it scaled out
TY SO MUCH btw for taking the time to write and share
You’re absolutely correct about the slam latches, that the only thing that my North Trail trailer did better. Overall I like my 2023 Rockwood better especially, the build quality.
Like the salad dressing joke. This is a nice unit and I found one close to my location in Washington State. I would like a 2515S but this is what they have on their lot.
Lol.....Druids....classic....keep'em coming Josh!
The only thing a druid is good for in the World of Warcraft
is *EVERY* thing lol :)
Nice video Josh. I'd like to see the control panel up near the microwave.
I love Rockwoods! This one is by far one of my favorites. Thanx for the overview Josh!
You bet!
We really like this Rockwood front kitchen floorplan to the point we were discussing going up to a F-250 to handle the tongue weight. The deal killer is the radius shower after having seen it in person. If they could figure a way to get a 30X36 shower for us old folks I think I would be sitting here with a new truck in the driveway. With these being more oriented to couples I've wondered if they couldn't take a page from class A RVs and have the bath moved to the back and bedroom more towards the middle.
For interior we would go with the lighter color. With us using the trailer throughout the year having the light color helps brighten things up during the winter months where we spend more time in the dark than daylight.
I rather not have the stable steps in the bedroom. Not only do they take up inside room but there isn't always room outside to put them down. If they used traditional aluminum RV stairs for the bedroom door it would allow you to have access even when overnighting in a tight spot and not take up bedroom space when the stairs aren't being used.
I would put chairs, those small roll up aluminum tables and rug in the vertical storage compartment. That would leave room for tubs and other wide items under the bed.
One last thing. We prefer this exterior color scheme. The front cap in particular stands out when compared to other color schemes.
Ty for sharing! I've always been partial to their lighter interior & exterior color swaptions but I've frankly never seen a rockwood I didn't like a least a little
After looking at a number of trailers we decided on the Rockwood 2516S. We really like it, the kitchen has the best design of any others, except for one thing, the cabinet above the sink is too deep and I bump my head, making this area not usable for me. I am 6’ tall, so it would not be unreasonable to expect to be clear of obstacles. The only other minor issue is that the bathroom sink is placed so far back in the counter top that I bump against the medicine cabinet while brushing my teeth. These are the only design modifications I would suggest, otherwise it is an excellent trailer.
It was nice seeing this one in the darker decor inside and out. I am not even sure which decor I would chose. I love this one though. I just feel like it as close to perfect as you can get especially for the size. I would option the HAB sofa, just to have some sleeping space when needed. For the endoscopy storage I would put my rod rack in there and secure my fishing rods. it looks like it would work perfectly. Thanks Nerd!
This isn’t bad but I much prefer the lighter look in and out
This is the color we chose for our Rockwood after looking at both colors. It just looks classier in my opinion and I usually don’t prefer darker colors. Anyway, Rockwood has a better build quality than the North Trail trailer we had.
@@SaltyDog69 Overall I'd agree
I like it. 😀
Good! 😊
This is a nice look in the darker colors.
Hope you and your Family have a very Merry Christmas Josh 🎄🎁
Got the 2022 version and love mine!! Just wish mine had that little bit extra storage in the kitchen slide!!
Congrats! Great pick :)
Me-me-MEGA medicine cabinet!
Love this model, I can remember you doing the previous version.
If a average sales person told me the roof wrinkles were “offgassing“ I would’ve walked away from them and never bought anything from them. But see Josh, we trust you and that goes a long way! Anyhow, thanks again for the video. I had no idea you had that many videos! That must be hard for you to even grasp that you’ve made that many!! 😅😅
Hope you And your family, everyone at Bish RV, has an amazing, safe Christmas and new year.!
If you check one that's freshly built, then one that's had a week or two before shipping you'll see a difference in the roof. It settles down
BUT.. the industry and many of the people in it have not done themselves favors so I wouldn't expect people to just take it at face value
I like this trailer! I love the front kitchen and that beautiful front windshield! The living room is kind of small though. The shower is incredibly horrible!
But, I still like this trailer!
Yeah living is a bit small but they check some BIG boxes in less than 26ft
The front slide outside storage would be perfect for fishing poles
I could see that
I really like this one. I love the theater seat option on smaller ones like this. I wish the shower had a bit more room, but might work. The one thing I wish was the bed was usable for travel stops. If it wasn't in a slide that would be awesome. I would go with two max air fans for sure.
That's a great idea!
Unless I missed the mark, this is the actual 2516s that we just picked up from Bish's Coldwater. We love the warmth of this color. We will be replacing the theater seat with a trifold for parents or grandkids that sometime travel with us. Thx for doing the 2023 video! We can't wait for Ms Mini's maiden voyage in Feb.
Merry Christmas everyone and Happy Camping!
It very well may be! Sometimes I have stuff recorded a while before I can get my footage published
Not a fan of windshields with a front bedroom but that’s perfect with a front kitchen. We enjoy cooking when RVing so more counter space is appreciated. TV seems a bit smallish.
Hitch weight is a little more than what I’d want to load on my half ton. Always wondered if the axles could be slightly re-positioned to shift a bit more weight off the hitch.
Rockwood doing Rockwood things!!
You know it!
I have a 2021 version of this model and absolutely love it, but the only downside living in Arizona is the single ac is not enough to cool it down in the summer. We will probably selling it and getting something with 50amp and 2 ac’s
Ty for the input. Most similar with dual air potential is this one:
m.ua-cam.com/video/FzXOZTVCwe0/v-deo.html
❤RockAwesome!
I wish they had this bathroom configuration in the Ultra-Lite 2608. Feels like you have to make too many left's and right's to get to the bedroom in the 2608. Plus like being able to access the bathroom from the front with the slides in. Keep up the awesome job
Ty Robert!
I completely agree on the bathroom comment
@@jenniferrosenthal7731 Me too plus it is a wider door going in to the bathroom from the bedroom, extra storage as a bonus. They should offer the 2608 in both configurations.
Enjoy your videos. Appreciate you showing the road mode and greatly appreciate your thoughts on tow ability. When (if) I do pull the trigger and purchase a travel trailer it has to be 1\2 ton towable. Really liked this one. Would probably option for the hide-a-bed just in case grand kids show up. Would option for the lighter exterior and would like to see the lighter interior. Being a middle of the road person, the door shade would probably be at half-mast.
Half-Mast is how I'd do that shade as well. People from the ground can't see up, but you can still peek over when needed
Great job getting the bottom up shade on the door!!! Good to see that counter space. Thank you, I was wondering what in the world is that griddle doing right under the tv???? DOH look for the hookup dummy.
I do stuff like that all the time
The dark cabinets feature the raised panels instead of flipping them flat side out as they do on the light finish.
When my Rockwood Ultralight 22ft lives out it's life, I may just upgrade to this.
I prefer the darker interior, theater seats, manual stabilizers, gas/elect frig.
TY! Good stuf
I still _really_ like this floorplan, and the only reason I don't have one is there's not a great space for a workspace.
Can't make a floorplan that does everything, unfortunately...but we can wish for one.
I think the next couple of years will see several really good new models roll out. You just never know!
If you put the back step out and lock the door, there is room for a small desk and chair in front of the door. I personally wish it didn't have the back door, but at least there is a work around.
I'd actually use the back, since I'd option for the sleeper sofa. That'd give each sleeping area access to the bathroom and outside.
It also wasn't wide enough for a reasonable workspace. Sitting down to play on the internet for a few minutes, sure, but not to sit and knock out a workday in.
We bought this model in May based on your video from over a year ago. LOVE this floorplan, perfect for two. Not crazy about the cheapo PWM charge controller or the AGM batteries that come with the unit, but that is really my only gripe. We bought the light color.
The unit actually comes with no battery from the factory. That's something your dealership likely worked out
Glad the RV has worked well for you overall! :)
U T T E R L Y LOVE your thought tangents! CLASSIC!!
We ❤ you Uncle Josh! The Professor of the RV UNIVERSE 🌎✨🚀✨🛰🌖🪐✨🌘🛸✨
Hah! 😊
We have a 2509s, and we would love to move to this one when the kids are done camping, but unfortunately, I can't stand the radius showers! I went to an RV show just to try the radius shower; nope, now way. Too bad, I'm a big fan of the mini lite line.
I love solid steps on RV's, we have them on our 2021 Jay Feather 22RB, however, I do not like solid steps on the 2nd door going into the bedroom like there is on this Rockwood. On our 22RB we have solid steps on the main door and folding steps going into the bedroom... this is how I prefer it because we rarely use the door going into the bedroom and if we had solid steps we would have to put them out every single time we camped and waste space under our awning.
I always wonder about that. Ty
Still one of my favorite models! I would love to see it with the dinette option.
I’ve never actually seen one of these with anything but a sofa but I know it’s available
@@JoshtheRVNerd, thanks for replying. 😊
I told my wife this was Allan from two and a half men, almost had her convinced by the voice. I said he looks a little different because he grew a goatee. 😂 😂
lol I'll trade paychecks with Jon Cryer for sure
Very nice! Love the entry closet/pantry and as you may not be surprised, I am thrilled with the placement of outlets in the kitchen and the fact that they are not underneath the cabinets. The theater seats in the lighter decor would be my preference. The residential Queen is another winner in my book and they did a great job with the hedroom storage. My only complaint is I don't like the radius shower. I would rather see a single entry point to the bathroom with a rectangular shower stall. Bring disabled, a radius shower is a no go for me. Otherwise, this would be perfect!!
👍🏻
We love our 2023 2516s, your videos helped us choose it!! After about 8 months of full time use, here is some constructive critique. It would have been really cool if the kitchen faucet had a sprayer. Rinsing out the suds or whatever is pretty tough, unless you fill up a cup of water to splash the sides. The bathroom faucet, well, I don't have hug paws.... but the stem on the faucet points straight down and it's hard not to splash the water on the countertop. We actually thought we had a leak under the sink, but it was me rinsing my hands. If the faucet pointed away from the faucet, it should do the trick. We'll replace both faucets and we should be good to go. Those are small things that don't take away from how much we love this RV. Ok, for the thing that really stinks..... the engineers that designed the location and the direction of the levers on the black tank really needs to pay attention to this part, what were you thinking? The RV owner needs to crawl under the bedroom slide to dump the tank. The gray water lever isn't so bad, you can do a deep squat and pull the lever toward you to dump it, but the black tank needs to be pulled toward the rear of the RV. I bought a kitchen pad from Costco to crawl on to get under the slide to pull it. It might sound like I"m being a whoosie, but here in WA State it rains. It's not fun to crawl on the wet pavement or gravel to pull the black tank once a week. We may consider installing an aftermarket electric dumper pull. There you go, thanks for all of your videos! And hey Rockwood, thanks for your awesome RV's!!!!
First, TY for watching! Next, TY for sharing your experience as an owner!
Would you mind dropping me a quick review at g.page/r/CdPcitNVx2nDEAg/review in return for the work putting together these videos?
@@JoshtheRVNerd Sorry dude, I didn't give you 10 stars. Evidently the new math people either can't count that high or have a secret multiplying factor. I just gave you their to the max stars!!! LOL
lol :) @@bratley79
Sorry I know this is not about this TT. Have you ever done a walkthrough of a Forest River Riverstone 41RL? I have seen the floorplan to one and would be interested to see one of your takes on one of these. Thanks!
I have not. Hopefully I can find one
Josh I would have to say that the floor plans of the mini lites you did look awesome by rockwood. In my opinion I think rockwood is far behind other brands as far for door plans for bunkhouse models 5th wheels and trailers. But man Josh you hit a home run with the minis really cool.
Pound for pound I think they’re one of best
This one is near perfect. If we had company. they would have to sit on folding chairs - no big deal. Love the bedroom closet and drawer space. Road mode accessibility is better than most. I like the darker decor and the pull up shades in the doors.
I'm kind of similar when it comes to accommodating company in an rv like this -- I'm getting this thing for MY household. I am glad to have you over, but you'll need to make due with the fact this wasn't bought for YOU specifically
We looked at both of these units at a local dealership and really fell in love with Rockwood.
The 30 amp service is a deal breaker for me here in Georgia. I'm just not going to like the single AC in July, so we were most interested in the Ultra series. They were new 22 models, and we decided to get a slightly used RV instead, so we wound up with a Passport.
I don't like the control panel being so low.
I don't like the front windshield. I like the view it affords, but not the heat.
I don't like the walk-tgrough bathroom, though that's not a deal breaker. A radius shower is always a bad thing, but, again, not a deal breaker.
It just seems like Rockwood does it right.
Pound for pound they do one of the best jobs out there I feel
Josh, you got me thinking about downsizing into this, only thing I don't like are the exterior hatches with direct access to the living space, such as the one in the left front kitchen. Otherwise, its a great looking camper.
I suppose they could be paneled off fairly easily
Great video and great rig! I'm anxious to see the 2013 version of the Rockwood 2513S!?!
I haven't been able to stumble into one of those yet but I'll definitely get some update footage
Thanks for doing all these. Could you do one for the 8262RBS?
On the hunt for one!!
Theater seating all the way. Prefer a larger shower and less sink cabinet. Thanks Josh.
TY
We love our Flagstaff 25FKBS but they missed the mark on this newer unit by eliminating the radio, cd DVD player.
Agreed! Was looking forward to a bit of built in entertainment.
OMG!! SALAD DRESSING!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
😉
Love our 2516. I’d like it better without the bedroom door, bedroom cabinetry across the entire wall in bedroom, and an outdoor kitchen under the bedroom cabinets.
Ty for sharing!!
Would agree with this suggestion. I also wish Rockwood would go to solid bedroom closet floors instead of the mirrored sliders. It would look much sharper. These changes would make it perfect!
How does it work out with the 2 dumps?
I assume that the gray/black tank for the bath is combined?
And, do you flush that tank with fresh before dumping the front kitchen gray tank?
This is the trailer that best suits my sife and I, with plans to retire soon. We have a 1/2 ton pickup, with this being a good fit.
Would love to hear your likes and what could have been different.
Thanks!
Josh, because I've been watching your videos as I searched for a new camper this fall, I used your videos as a resource for my next camper. In October, I bought a 2022 Rockwood mini lite 2516s camper because of your recommendations on the Rockwood campers.
This new camper is my third Rockwood camper that I've purchased. Never had an issue with any of my other Rockwood campers.
Thank you for your help!
That is awesome! Glad to be of service!
Would it be out of the question to ask you to drop me a quick review at g.page/r/CdPcitNVx2nDEAg/review in return for the helping hand? It would be greatly appreciated in return for the efforts!
Love it but one thing I don’t like in any trailer is pass through from the outside
I would have to to check out the lighter decore, because I don't like the dark you are showing. It reminds me of an old trailer. I also like a Murphy bed, but the extra slide with a bed, may work. I do like the bathroom and fireplace I love the Jay CC I white hawk, but I want a smaller trailer, like around 25'.
Here’s a look m.ua-cam.com/video/D1iyAjT9mp8/v-deo.html
They could use a single handle latch mechanism on a full door behind the fridge that would latch at the top, side, and bottom with a single turn of the handle.
I've been advised single latches on a big door can have sealing issues on the ends at times. I've never specifically confirmed that but considering nearly any RV company with big baggage doors uses dual latches on them I'm inclined to believe it
I like class B 4×4,
Grade A-. The only change would be is to get rid of the cheap fan replace it with another max air with a cover. Thanks Nerd. 👍
That’s a solid grade!
Very nice job Josh, l have a small question about the roof ac if they come with black covers can you get them changed to white ? Just curious about that
Yeah a shroud is just a shell you can replace
I love everything about it except the extra door in the bedroom because we would prefer extra storage there
👍🏻 TY! :)
Fishing rods would mount nice in the tall storage.
Good call! :)
I want the hide a bed for grand kids.
There's just something about a FK that's so awesome! But most FK don't come with Bunks 😔
Yeah I am not really aware of any
If this bad boy had the power package they would meet the misses requirements
👍🏻
This is still the best camper layout I've seen for me and my situation personally.
I would take out the bedroom door and add a small desk/vanity in that area. Also, the bottom drawers of the bedroom wardrobe become an outdoor kitchen(if that's even possible)
My question is suppose you're staying in a Walmart/Cracker Barrel/etc. parking lot overnight in this, and you can't open the slides. Would 2 American sized people be able to use the theater seat and the bed (I know the wardrobe would cut into the bed length) with the slides closed? Without causing any damage?
Thanks nerd🤓
-Steve
I can never advise occupying a slide out when it is anything but fully extended in a total RV, because no supplier nor manufacture tests for actually using it when it’s retracted. If they don’t offer insurance, then I don’t feel like right we can either.
@@JoshtheRVNerd good to know. Thanks man
@@JoshtheRVNerd for what it is worth...I have an email from Rockwood telling me it was ok to use the bed when the slide is in. Just to be sure I am not on it when it is being moved in or out. I am holding on to that email...lol
So we can sit on the recliner’s while the slide is in.
I’m surprised they didn’t make the bedroom max air standard like before
Was never standard in bedroom but has been an available option for a while
This is what I have been looking for! Can you run refrigerator and air while boondocking?
Would require a generator
Running air off grid requires serious power. Even the most advanced solar systems currently available from factories will only provide air for a few hours
Hi Josh
You are correct about towing it with a half ton
We have the 2022 2516 and. Love it as a couples trailer. This is our first time camping and last year we camped over 100 nights and 10,000 towing miles with a 2019 Chevy 1500 V8 2 wheel drive and the truck was at it's maximum. I just purchased a 2023 2500HD and what a difference when towing with the new truck.
Love the no carpet slides on the 2013 2516.
We want to move into a bigger trailer or 5th wheel and after looking the other brands we can appreciate the Rockwood even more. We wish the 2608 did not have the radius shower and it appears the space between the fireplace and theater seat is somewhat less because is the fireplace slant
Thank you for sharing your experiences with this one
What was your tow capacity on the chevy?
@@koreyhandler397
The towing capacity is 960 pounds However more important and no one other than Josh points out that you have to know your payload capacity which was 2039 pounds and if your tongue weight is 625 that leaves only 1414 pounds for fuel people and cargo
Josh. In Road mode can you actually open up the refrigerator to get to food inside?
I don’t see why not. As long as it’s unobstructed
Does the table fit into the under bed outside storage?
They managed to squeeze a lot into this, but anything that has only 1 seating area is an automatic no from me. Guess the camp chairs could do double-duty. Too bad the storage is so underwhelming. This does the kitchen better than the bigger brother, but that's because that one moves the fridge, but the hidden drawers are kinda neat. I was going to say big bro does the bathroom better only because it's not a walk-through, but this one def has better linen storage and a larger vanity. I could deal with the walk-through. Really like the big awning and neither door being right up against the awning arm. I'd always choose the theater seat, to me that's extra sleeping space as some of us older folks sleep better with our head elevated.
TY for taking the time today, laura! :)
Nice rig for sure! Anything like this with a Bh?
Closest in size: m.ua-cam.com/video/40MtO0FTVe8/v-deo.html
Do they publish weight limits for the outside storage areas since they are in the slides? Not sure I would be comfortable with the weight of the items I currently carry in slides.
Thanks.
I’ve never seen anything like that from any builder but I think it’s largely a nonissue
As long as it fits, then you should be ok
…unless you’re load bags of concrete mix or something lol
Is that POO at 6:15?
Dirty shoes leaving their trace
Can aggressive combat cuddling break a bed slide? Noise gets out more?
Depends on if you deliver that flying elbow from the top rope or not
@@JoshtheRVNerd So….skip the bed slide, got it. Hey, it’s an important question!!!
