What engine do you have in it? If you had a Freightliner, I know how to diagnose electrical and beyond with my eyes closed. Thanks for dropping in on the comment section.
@@dtnamastertech its a cummins x15, but i might have found some software to remove passwords, so we'll see.. its not urgent. but the package for it is like 600$ lol.
Are you talking about deleting emmissions? I wouldn’t know anything about that. You would have to contact one of those aftermarket companies that specialize in that stuff. My only focus has been to put trucks back on the road properly.
@@aDvLegend if you selected to filter your CPL and your DO (based on what the ECM base code is) you shouldn’t have any other options in the DO comment section. Now I’m assuming here, 250k and 500k is for the j1939 speeds. On Freightliner’s 500k is on trucks 2016 and newer. Identified as a twisted pair of wires white with green strip (low) and white with yellow stripe (high). As well as having a green 9 pin Data Link Connector. And 250k j1939 having twisted wires one yellow (high) and another green (low). 250k having a black DLC. In both speeds j1939 goes to pins C (high) and D (low green). Too much information
Yes thank you, been looking at picking up a service laptop & insite for a cummins equiped kenworth i have.
Be aware, you will likely not have access to a fleet cal code, to change the ECM software.
I believe it’s only for Cummins authorized dealers. Even as a dealer, I have to call a distributor to get it.

@@thebetaguy so you could need a zap it, to remove the password and a fleet cal code to change the software.
Good work thanks for uploading.
Thanks. What do you work on? Trucks or boats?
I guess it could be put in anything. That's the problem with Cummins. I'm sure you can put one on a unicycle. Aftermarket Engine Department. Hahaha
if it's not a firetruck or an ambulance lol. pans over to the ambulance. right on dtnamastertech
Hi, any chance you could delete the truck using this software? If not what kind of software would one need?

Where do you find the DO#?
At about the 4:00
The DO# is in that same window area. You just find your ECM calibration code and scroll over to the DO# section.
What is the Do comment? They say either 250k or 500k
