  • Folks, tonight we're gettin’ real. We’re talkin’ about tool brand loyalty-the kind that makes people believe there’s only ONE way to go: Milwaukee, Dewalt, Ridgid, Makita, or whatever their chosen brand may be. It’s like they're worshipping these brands like sacred relics, and anyone who disagrees might as well be from another planet. Well, Tools with SoAlz is here to say enough is enough!
In this LIVE STREAM, we’re diving into the insanity of blindly sticking to one brand, no matter the price, quality, or performance of others. Listen, I love a good power tool as much as the next guy, but loyalty like this? It’s like wearing blinders, refusing to see that other brands have something to offer. And when you’re out there spending your hard-earned cash, don’t you want the best tool for the job, not just the one that matches your toolbox?
We’ll be taking a close look at brands like Milwaukee, Dewalt, Ridgid, Makita, and even Ryobi. We’re putting it all out on the table tonight-are you loyal to a fault? Do you really believe one brand can do no wrong? Or are you missing out on tools that could take your work to the next level? It’s time to challenge that mindset, and trust me, some of you are gonna have to rethink how you choose your tools.
And hey, we’re not stopping there! We’re comparing this kind of loyalty to those who think THEIR way of thinking is the only way. You know the type-flat earthers, vegans, and the folks who can’t even fathom that someone else’s reality might be valid too. It’s that same closed-minded approach, but applied to tools! It’s like someone saying, 'I only drive Ford' or 'I only eat organic'-and you’re over here thinking, 'Buddy, life is bigger than that!'
So, what’s the deal? Why are people so caught up in their brand bubbles that they refuse to see the bigger picture? Some swear by Milwaukee because of their track record in heavy-duty construction. Others won’t touch anything but Dewalt because 'that’s what dad used.' But times change, tools evolve, and there’s value in all the brands-IF you know what to look for. Tonight, I’m going to give you the tools (pun intended) to think critically, not just as a fan of one brand but as someone who wants the best bang for their buck.
You see, there are certain advantages to using specific tools from each brand. Some excel in cordless tech, while others are kings of durability. But blind loyalty? It can make you miss out on deals, innovations, and features that can truly make your work easier, faster, and better. In this livestream, I’ll be laying out how different brands stack up, when it makes sense to switch gears, and how to break free from that 'brand loyalist' mindset.
So, if you’ve ever found yourself defending a tool brand like it’s your own child, this livestream is for you! We’re going to dive into why being loyal to only one brand isn’t doing you any favors. And for those of you sitting there, shaking your head and thinking, 'I’m always open to the best tool, no matter who makes it,' then you’re ahead of the game!
And don’t worry-we’ll be takin’ live questions throughout the stream, so if you’ve got something to say, or if you’re clutching your Makita drill like it’s a lifeline, feel free to jump in the chat. We’re gonna have a conversation, folks, and I wanna hear your thoughts too. Is it really worth sticking with one brand, or are you open to new tools that might surprise you?
Hit that Like button, Subscribe, and make sure you have notifications turned on, because this conversation is going to get heated-but it’s all in good fun! Let’s challenge the status quo together, and see which brands really stand the test of time, and which ones are just riding on reputation alone. This is one livestream you don’t want to miss, whether you’re a Milwaukee die-hard or a Dewalt devotee. We’re breaking the mold, and no brand is safe!

Nearly all my power tools are Dewalt but because of proprietary batteries and not having enough money, not loyalty.

Milwaukee guys are no joke, Torque Test Channel lost 50 plus subscribers in an hour after his video on the Gen 4 2953 Impact. Dude went through 4-5 very quickly, because they kept breaking.

Personally, I have always liked DeWalt since I was a little boy.
Here in the UK, it was common to see in shops Black and Decker, Bosh and DeWalt, and I began to see other brands as I got older. Makita then Milwaukee.
I personally do not like Bosh, not because of it's performance because it is good, but because of the way it looks and it is too bulky. Do not get me wrong now. We have Bosh Blue, which looks nice, but I am still not into Bosh.
Last year, I was considering Milwaukee, but I decided to stick with DeWalt purely because I am One of those people who likes to have matching tools.
I do have other tools that are not DeWalt.
Stanley, Silverline, OX, and another brand of which the name is not coming to me.
Also, I have an Angle Grinder that is not DeWalt, which is electric but powerful.
The only DeWalt power tools that I currently have are a Combi Drill, an Impact, and an Oscillating tool, A.K.A multi tool.
I know that not all DeWalt tools are the best, but I do like their drills.
I still need to buy an SDS drill, but I am unable to decide which One to get. 🤙🏼🙂🤙🏼❤️

There are some serious tool brand cults out there, and they just can’t face reality. The average person doesn’t need to stick with one platform, so being open minded has its advantages.
By the way, there are also some serious tool channel cults out there. VCG’s fanboys are a perfect example of that.

First off, i am not a fanboy, i have different brands, but i think it make sense if somebody tried more brands, and one of them convinced them that is better than others in majority of tools that they use, and beacause of the battery platform to choose one brand to work with. If you work in a workshop it's one thing, but if you go with toools to a jobsite, it's more easy to have one brand and i think that maybe you develop some fanboy skills when you use one brand for a long time.

It's easy to carry multiple platforms and get the best of the tools you need from more than one. You'll be more productive and you won't gave to worry about your Milwaukee going the way of a Makita like drop in performance and quality
