This is the CUTEST thing I have ever seen. I am teaching my fourth-grade general music students recorder right now and I am 100% going to show this to them.
God bless y'all for the many screeching renditions of "hot cross buns" you must endure! Don't get me wrong, I realize every future musician must start somewhere but it must be a mix of pain and satisfaction to be there at the start!
I don’t care about the ‘let’s be an upbeat, unconventional recorder quartet’ marketing shtik… I do care that you guys play so tunefully and in pitch. Great job.
VLG, Thomas... vom WSK
Flauto barocco: due contralti in fa, basso, tenore in do.
The old masters used to turn the page with their toes while they were boiling their radishes and turnips and generating as many semi-viable children as possible... It was expected of everyone back then; us modern people are hella weak.
You are all amazing. I just purchased a sopranino, soprano, alto, tenor and bass recorder hoping to start a quartet of my own. I’m not ready to play the level of stuff you’re doing so does anyone know of good books for people that play woodwinds already?
There are a few books called "The Sweet Pipes Recorder Book" and they have versions in C for garklein, soprano, and tenor. And a version in F for sopranino, alto, and basset. You can find them on Amazon, and they have duet books as well.
I thought there was no way to make boring recorder playing (with brutally hard unmusical articulation) less interesting. Thank god you found a way to add choreography.
I think most people would disagree with you. It is liberating to see musicians expressing emotions with their body movements, not just stiffly staring at a music sheet. It certainly doubles enjoyment for me to watch their light hearted "gimmicks".
@@aumelb I really don't care what most people think. The movements are repetitive, boring, and predictable. If that is what you find entertaining, fine. I find the choreography uninspired and juvenile.
@@DCFunBud ok good for you. You don't have to say such things, though. Thats not constructive criticism. Its just not liking something and unnecessarily voicing your opinion about it. At least give basic constructive criticism instead of adding an unnecessary comment.
@@heidisamuels7201 Really? How would you define "constructive criticism?" Here's some constructive criticism for you. You need to grow up. These performers put their act on stage before the whole world. Audience members are free to express their approval or disapproval. Just because they engage is something you find "cute" doesn't mean other people are obliged to like it. I think their choreography takes away from their otherwise fine performance. Is that constructive enough for you?

Lovely Woodpeckers are so light on their feet! 😀 Light fingers too, and a stunning performance. Thank you!
Astoundingly beautiful.
I’ve seen this so many times already and it never ceases to make me happy! Thank you for sharing!
You all are a delight and fun to watch as you perform! Your music is lovely! Thanks so much for brightening my day. Jenny

So schön ❣️
Omggg!!!! So cool!!!!!🎉😻
You're work memorizing the piece pays off. It is so nice to see this music being played where the musicians aren't a slave to the page.
Well - actually the page is a slave to the musician ; )
of course not ! my Voices of Music vrienden worden hier niet bedoeld !
Ze zijn 100% perfect !

LOVELY ❤

Lindas... além de tocarem maravilhosamente bem...! Watching from São Paulo, Brazil..! ☺👏
How cool is this? The Red Priest would be proud!

Brilliant! Bravo 👏🏽🌹❤️
Nice one! If you do something with the VivaldiGuys, my life would be complete :p

send this to 2set
😍
Fabuloso. Queria ser o pai de uma delas. Rsrsrs
🤣but really, you are very skilled!
Albern...
Does this suck?
NO!
I think they should cut out the choreography. Too gimmicky. Their joyful sound is sufficient.

superb playing. BUT ..... imho, the choreography is totally inappropriate!
Why?
More show than music.
They should work on those rogue notes they let out every now and then & stop all the showbiz choreography.
That's a lot of blowing!!!
Magnifique pour l'exécution. Mais "chorégraphie" ridicule !
Not the best i have ever heard but it seems fun
