My family went out to Six Flags Over Georgia back when this ride was still Monster Plantation, and the queue constantly played only a small portion of the song. We were all singing that song for the rest of the day.
I'm A HUGE fan of "Dark Rides" so this was really cool! I've only ever bee to one Six Flags park ( Six Flags over Texas) and I was too little to really ride anything. But I do remember a flume ride similar to this one, so it's really nice to see one again.
Must be thinking of when it was Tales of the Okefenokee. Not exactly Brer Rabbit, though I can see how you'd pick that up. :-) sixflags.fandom.com/wiki/Tales_of_the_Okefenokee
@@SirWillow ahhh, yes. That's what I was thinking of. Apparently it was based on the Uncle Remus stories though, with Mr. Rabbit, Mr. Fox, and Mr. Bear.
To Georgia? No. Much to long to drive when I live in Missouri. I don't know if I'll go to St. Louis' version of it yet or not. Probably won't know until Nov or Dec. :-)
Haven’t been there since the 80s as a little kid... but I still have the coloring book of the ride from then... nice to see the ride again

That would be the Bugs Bunny themed one. It was open in 2017 when I was there though for some reason I didn't get any photos or video of it. :-(
I love seeing a dark ride outside of Disney & Universal; wish there were more!
This used to be a Brer Rabbit ride a million years ago, didn't it?
Yep!

Did they change it back to monster plantation I thought it was monster mansion?
You are correct. It's Monster Mansion. I need to fix the title. Good catch!
wtf did they get rid of the teeth chomping down on you at the end?
Will you be back for holiday in the park the Christmas thing

This kinda reminds me of fire in the hole at sliver dollar city
Why is it the thing that made me jump was the cough 5:00
Wow haven't been it the mornster house but the monster on the end ues to say something at the end
This is a weird and poorly executed combination of Small World and Splash Mountain. Uggh... has potential but needs a lot of reimagining.
This was around before Splash Mountain. Welcome to the world of a classic dark ride. :-)
