Its hard to beat hammock time. I like that tarp set-up, it offers a high level of shelter but still allows for great views all around. Stay well Val. Thanks for these updates. Cheers
Good to see you again Val, chicken looked great, still not sure about hammocks, rolling off a mat is ok, I just imagine waking up upside down 🙃🙃😂😂, once again a stunning location with a bird song backing track, how is the cabin progressing? Stay safe my friend 👍👍👍☕☕
You may be impressed what a good sleep you can have in a hammock, at least I was. With the cabin I'm a bit stuck at the moment, we mounted a sawmill and the motor is a bit too powerful for the power grid in the area, so I may have to change it. I'm at the girder phase with the cabin, if I use the word correctly. It's the part that sits on the pillars, on which the walls are going to be built. Thanks for the feedback, Nige. Take care! ☕👍🤠
@@ValDKemp yes I know what you mean, you have a central truss, but if you have a wide roof you need a perlin to support it about half way it's length, it's like a second truss, it's like how you supported your tent in the snow, but bigger, 😀😀👏👏☕☕
@@nigelgregory4777 Well, I have a friend who helps me build it. I never built anything until now, I'm just learning in the process. I trust my friend who built many wooden houses in the past so it should be all right with the frame and everything. I still have to decide what I'll use for the roofing.
What a beautiful peaceful location . Wonderful video. Excellent filming Thank you Val
Thanks, Jamie. 🤠👍
