This video shows you how to install a new tie rod adjusting sleeve on your 1993-1997 Ford Ranger. The tie rod adjusting sleeve connects inner and outer tie rods that do not thread together directly, and are typically found on trucks and older cars. Turning the sleeve adjusts the length of the tie rod to make alignment adjustments. If it is rusted solid, not adjustments can be made, and if its broken or worn, the tie rod could come loose.
