Cub cadet LTX 1042 KW blades not engaging ? This might be your issue.

@smallenginerescue Thank You! After watching your video I had ordered the parts. About a week and a 1/2 ago my sister and I used your video and we replaced both the lever and cable, the mower is engaging great now. I really like how you showed each step of the process. I had replaced the belt, blades, and spindles in the past, but with your video, we are able to do that part on our own as well.

What a bad design, with a lever that bends too easily and also the layout makes removal and replacement a pain in th ass! Cub Cadet should get some better engineers!
