This is such a beautiful deck. It's surreal & fantastical. The cards also have a certain nostalgic effect or de ja vu effect, too. It's like "there's no way this could be real, but somehow I know this" 🤔 You did a wonderful job in this video. ♡ Thank you!
I wasn't drawn to this deck at first, but it is growing on me, especially after your walkthrough. I think it is really neat that we are both starting a series at the same time! I can't wait until our live tomorrow!! Light and Love, Scott
Loved this, Amy. Especially your talk of queens and kings as I couldn't agree more. I really like this deck because yes, her artwork is stunning. Haven't really used it yet though since a couple of women and their live chat made me start using the Robin Wood instead!!! 😁
@@StrengthReversed Well... personally I only keep the male kings in the deck - for some of the same reasons that you mention. The female kings are really pretty, but I guess I wouldn't quite know what to do with them in a reading (together with the rest of the courts, I mean). And they really do feel a lot like the queens, don't they. Yep! Really enjoy RW - got the book too and it's fabulous! ❤
You spilled the T on this deck! I’ve seen a few images of this deck on IG and I thought it was pretty. I will say I agree with you on needing that mixture of male and female energy. Even as a gay male, I can’t have all men in a deck because I feel like I’m missing out. This sounds like a complex deck but I hope you have fun with it. It seems like a very summery/early fall type of deck so perfect time to use it 😉 thanks for sharing! Looking forward to your thoughts on EAP, and of course the Antique one 😜 happy 4th! Stay hydrated!
Thanks Jason! As I posted this, I thought people might be offended about the king thing because I don't know if I explained it exactly how I wanted. I think Apothecary is next!
I also have this deck and I really enjoy it. In terms of Kings & Queens in the tarot, I do not see them as male/female as I read the overall energy of the card. I, too, had a tough time deciding which versions of these cards to keep in the deck because they are all beautiful. I'm not a huge fan of the Lovers card in this deck as I do not enjoy looking at therianthropic forms of art. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this deck! I hope that you connect with and enjoy it. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your deck walkthroughs/reviews. Much love to you, Amy! 💕💕-Ang
Hi Ang! I agree-I do not see Queens/Kings as referring to any particular gender in a reading, only as qualities and archetypal personalities. Making the kings female doesn't offend me or anything, I just wonder why men need to be excluded to make the deck from a "feminine perspective." I understand wanting to work with an all-female deck sometimes, but it's not for me. Which is why I appreciate that she included a choice! Love ya Ang! 💜💜💜
I've been eyeing this deck for a while!!! I think it would go beautifully with my Nicoletta Ceccoli deck! Having said that, it also annoys me "the female point of view" thing. "A king is a man and a queen is a woman" YES, thank you!
Wishing you an easy resolution to the issue of the kings. There are definitely some intriguing images in this deck. I hope you enjoy where your imagination takes you as you use it.
I love her oracle deck, and wanted to like this deck, but it didn't click. I eventually gave it away. Had I kept it, I think I would use the male Emperor and would use the female Kings as Queens. In most of the suits I think the Queens are less striking and don't exemplify the suit as well.
I am also not a fan of unbalanced decks, even though I own two decks that I specifically got for devine feminine and divine masculine points of view. But in that they serve a specific purpose and I won't use them for everyday readings. I would actually take out the queen of pentacles and put the female king in the deck instead cuz it looks way more like the QoP to me. The female Emperor actually looks like a young version of Louis 14th with Versailles in the background. But those Rennaissance pictures did make people look a lot more feminine, so I can kinda still see a man in there. More like a man-child lol. Unless it shows his younger brother which had been dressed up as a girl when he grew up. What irritates me about the lovers card is the bird. He is blue with a top hat but wearing a female skirt with female legs. That is a bit too far stretched for me. The images are beautiful but it is not a deck I would ever reach for. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this :-)

Yes, Lori! EXACTLY! It somehow looks familiar. Thank you!💜

Guilty!! I hope you are enjoying the RW. In your opinion, should I keep both versions of the Kings, or choose 1? Thanks, Nina!💜

Thanks Jennifer.💜 I might keep both versions.

Interesting! That's a good option. Thanks Kenneth💜

Yes! That looked like a man-child. I don't know how I feel about the bird. Was it a way to avoid putting a man in the card? 💜
