- In the third episode of our Month in Botswana series we are lucky enough to get a last minute booking at Savute in our journey south from Muchenje en route to Khwai.
We stayed at Savute Camp and Khwai Safari Grounds.
We hope you enjoy this episode with us

Ah man! 8:47 Now I'm craving a St.Louis! Brings back so many memories! Did the Moremi > Xakanaxa > Khwai> Savuti > Kasane way back in 2016. That "road" drove us crazy but it is one of my favorite memories from our trip that year!
Sounds like an awesome trip Flip. What time of year did you do the road?
@@BlackOverland We went through there early September. Was super dry and dusty! the dust was horrific!
Amazing video.
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it 👍🏻
Great episode thanks guys
Great thanks for the feedback
You guys look like you are having an amazing time. So jealous. Enjoy and keep exploring. Love the show.
Shot Paul. See you in April?
Great channel, great series!
Just a question if i may, was the aircon not working in the vehicle?
cheers
Hi Paul. Thanks for the feedback. The air con does work but we stop every 10 km’s or so on the bad roads to check everything is ok on the car and trailer. It’s easier to be acclimatised to getting out and in of the car and just keep the AC off. Glad you enjoying the series. We still have a few more episodes to come out. Next one on Friday. Cheers
@@BlackOverland ok great, thanks for the feedback. I prefer getting back into a chilled vehicle to keep the energy levels up, your missus looked a little flustered there at one point...but each to their own I guess.
Can't wait for the next episodes, keep up the good work!!
So if you come across someone stuck in the sand, you divert round them and don’t waste time.
Wow - what a Samaritan you are. Hope you never get stuck and need help.
Not at all. Just trying to give some advice on an alternative route should there be a lot of traffic or for someone looking to avoid the thick sand
16:30 “Poep in jouw broek?”. I understood that being Dutch. ;)
😜 welcome to the channel. I’m sure not many people would understand that one 👍🏻
Hard to hear the video at times.
Although the wet t shirt part made up for it
