    Apologies, on behalf of the kind monks. This tantric music is ancient, back to Bon religion before Buddhism. It is meant to chase away demons, real and mental, awaken us to Bodhi nature, and call the attention of protective entities. Try relaxing your mind completely, then really cranking that volume, and enjoy the sheer power of of Tantra. Those tranquil passages are the Samadhi that is never disturbed. Try to feel that; it is indestructible. Gifts for us from TIbet, with love.

    Ive heard this in my dreams once.. i was sitting in a mountain top at night with hundreds of monks around me, candles everywhere, infront of me about 100 yarss stood my mother in front of a enormous gate. It opened and a old monk took her in and every monk around me started doing mantras. I felt my world vibrate at an incredible speed and a fire building up as the mantras and trumpets were getting louder and the gates were closing...thats it i woke up calm and my mother is doing well. She had a dream we were in the mountains once and ab ocean of gold was underneath us. What a bizzare world we live in in which i don’t fully understand but feel like i do...its bizzare i feel like the answer lies deep within me and this part of UA-cam or moments in life really brings attention to it.. anyway thought id share a story of mine

    My favourite is Karaniya Metta Sutta, the Hymn of Universal Love. Really opened my eyes to Buddhism. I saw in the news an immolation in the news a while back. I looked up Buddha, read some of his quotes, watched video's on here of his life and search. A truly magnificent man, no words of war, that says kill other's, or that only Buddhists are chosen ones. When i see Buddhists fighting i take note. Much evil in the world which immediate attention. Our countries policies are rubbish when we suffer

    It's time to spread our Love around the World and the Universe. I am a Buddhist Christian. This week, me and the people of England stood up against our bully, and said no to war. We still have much work to do. No more setting yourselves alight please, we are coming to save you and you us. 1 Candle can light a thousand candles. We must put an end to war. I have named out enemy-Greed. Power corrupts, Budddha knew that, help us all who listen to wisdom. Tell all who listen, we are coming to help.

    PS Palden Lhamo is female in form. She is our Protectress, and she is ferocious in our defense. She is black in form, wears a necklace of skulls, rides a tiger, and with attitude. But She is just the protective mother element of any woman, or man, in defense of the weak. She also represents destruction of illusion and material clinging, esp. as Kurukulla. Girl power. Cool?

      Music is the language ov the universe (what you call god?). We are interpreters and the manifestation ov memories memories ov the living universe. String theory deals with acoustic resonance at sub particle levels; we are all made ov music, just as we are made ov the universe, and the universe is made ov us.

      Late reply, but I'd point out that Buddhism evolved into every culture it encountered. This is an intentional practice of Buddhism (what is referred to as "skillful" teaching). I would suggest that Tibetan Buddhism is arguably the most "evolved" form of Buddhism rather than a simple blend of Siberian shamanism with Buddhism. Tibetan culture/history is WAY more complex than that. And hey, Tibetan Buddhism tamed the Mongol hordes :)

    • @mattkeyes8385
      @mattkeyes8385 7 років тому +3

      Agreed. Tibetan Buddhism is Buddhist in its core principles but draws from Bon (the native "shamanistic" religion) as well as other ancient Indian Tantric practices. These things (from what I understand) are viewed as a "fast path" to enlightenment vs. waiting eons and eons via the bodhisattva route. An understatement, to be sure, but that is my understanding.
      I should also add that I have a great love for all Buddhism but in particular Mahayana Buddhism and what I (opinion) see as its rich and "evolved" state, Vajrayana Buddhism. Or, as Dr. Robert Thurman describes, the messianic (Mahayana) and apocalyptic (Vajrayana) forms

      " Bodhisattva Vow " By The Beastie Boys On the album " Ill Communication " Is worth checking out , go on the internet and read the words to that song/rap : it's pretty cool .One of the lyrics says " If someone disrespects me and gives me flack I stop and think , before I react "

      You're correct, in fact the Buddha's 1st Noble Truth is that: Life Is Suffering. Music of another sphere.

      Heard the malicious screams, curses and scorns of some prideful, egoistic toxic vegans as well. Thankfully, most vegans are peace-loving. Nameste.
