First ever sub 9 Any% since Ice and Reprise were added! This run still isn't perfect but can't complain. A dumb timeloss on Reprise but oh well I'll take it for now.

Question how the hell do u climb? My characters arms move so slow
It’s also a matter of momentum and release timing at the same time. Doing a double or multiclimb on a wall is quite difficult to master, especially with a controller or even on mobile, but it’s possible if you can control momentum

6:00 how you do that?
You have to grab the axe in a very specific way in order for it to let you fly and gain height with it. The way I walk up to it, the timing of lifting my hands and the jump is very precise, and sometimes it still doesn't even work when you grab it correctly :P

@@waciol its actually 5:13. You cant climb like this unless you enable 'climbcheat' in the console. It enables the climb system from a very old version of the game.

On mobile, its not. I'm not sure about xbox tho
It’s possible, I’ve made some of these jumps. It’s difficult given sensitivity but it’s possible if you raise it and bunnyhop and strafe

If you're not playing on PC you can't get nearly enough speed because of how keyboard inputs allow for effective strafe jumping with bunny hops compared to analog on controller. It’s precision and speed, but it’s quite difficult to nail each time unless you’ve locked in the angle and velocity you need to get it

Strafe jumping on the PC version of this game is OP.
It is, and it’s also sort of overpowered on console if you’re able to do it, however it’s quite difficult given sensitivity

I wonder What your best splits are, they're somewhere around 8:10-8:20 right?
@@christhegamer926 Not realistically, for Any% currently I'd say sub 8:30 would be as good as you could ask for. However the developers have already confirmed 2 new maps at least this year so once they get added Any% sub 10 would probably be next to impossible but we'll see.
My SoB for Any% is sitting at 8:06, but getting anywhere close to it in a run isn't likely given the amount of rng in this game :P
