- I've wanted to try Engine swaps since the launch of Gran Turismo 7... there's a little known way to get many of them currently. I tried it... V8 BMW M3 anyone?

The 787B swap into RX-7 does the 700PP race with ease no pit. Tune to around 2800 lbs, copy paste setting of a Gr.4 for suspension. Prolly around Mixture 3 will do 7 laps with more than a minute remaining.
any specific Gr4 car i should model the suspension off of?
Well you can use the 787b itself for that

Zonda R ,Hard Tires power restrictor 98%, 799.8 PP, Lean 6 the whole race and pit at the end of lap 5 and 10. Easily 1m 25 sec gap at the end if the race. Plus great car to drive.
after 4 months finally we got a engine swap video for GT7
I got like 250-300 hours in this game and I haven't gotten a SINGLE engine swap until this update.
I got the hellcat engine near release but couldn't use it for months anyway, only went into the '70 Challenger

ive never seen another game where I can play for 100+ hours and not get a single big ticket item. Engine swaps might as well not exist.

I think I've only ever seen 1 but never got it.
I was in the same boat until about an hour ago. I probably played 300 hours and never won an engine swap. I log on and go into parts and I have the 787b and the Escudo engines in my inventory. I didn’t win them at all. Did they just gift everyone them in an update or something?
I got the V8 by luck before I even knew about the glitch. Immediately went M3 GTR MW style

That’s what I did I bought every used car and then just checked the next day and the RX-7 was there, dunno if it just happened to luckily update the used cars or if buying all of them prompted the game to add new cars available for purchase but either way yes this is true

hey theo, as a heads up in most races, the best way to have better grip is with racing hards, racing soft tyres are better for shorter races. love the videos and this glitch is amazing, finally being able to get some engines from the game

They seriously need to put engine swaps behind an event. I would welcome them bringing Seasonal Events back, with one of those events dedicated to rewarding engine swaps, which would refresh once every week or two.
I'm also down for including them in a secret, high-end shop, just make them available for the player through normal gameplay, not through this multi-stage RNG gacha bullshit.
they'll never do that, they clearly designed the mechanic to force you to buy mtx. They won't backtrack, as in Japanese culture they would have to publicly apologize and shit
@@guillaumejoop6437 what are you talking about? the mtx only covers credits, not engine swaps. at the moment you cannot directly purchase engine swaps using credits, so spending a boatload of money on GT7 won't even get you close to a 4star ticket or higher.

Silvia Q is top when swapped with a BRZ engine (ls7). Same can be said for the 300zx, 180sx, 2002 rx7 and Pontiac trans am and their engines if you want speed demons. Also that 1990 rx7 just became available in UCD.
That's what's bound to happen when you have a fundamental part of the game locked behind RNG with worse rates than most Gachas

The only problem i found with the crown is that is a heavy 4 door vip car the extra power of the 3uz help but i feel it needs a stage 5 weght reduction and i might need to work on my tune a little bit too

@@fernandovazquez5398 yeah i wish the engine swap changed the transmision to the one that matches the new engine but somehow we are stuck with the regular m3 transmision lol with some of the swaps you need to extend the existing gears so that the car dosent tops out too early

Craziest builds so far: fully tuned FD swapped Miata, LS swapped S13 with 1200 HP and a GTR Nismo swapped Delta Integrale.
The LS was the only engine I earned honestly. 😂
I've earned a 5.0L Coyote V8, a 6.2L LS9 V8, and the 7.0L LS7 BRZ V8.
Dropped a LT5 into a Tuscan. Purely mental.
fun fact: in MW05 the m3 is tuned to shift into 6th gear at 200 mph.
An easy way to add Engines to the Tuning Shop is to make an extra section for them. Get to a certain point, and you unlock Engines after the Extreme modifications. So, if it'd be this easy to implement buying new engines for your car, there's got to be a reason is hasn't been done this way. Probably money.
Or just have them in the extreme section since it’s basically unused, stick all the special parts in there… or just add a store to buy engines… since tuning shop installs it instantly

Try putting the rear toe in at full or 3 quarters + side and the LSD fully custom with the initial torque high around 45+ and you will have way better stability against those violent oversteering whips under power with those higher torque rear wheel drive setups that tend to want to kick out more like that
I swapped the LS9 Corvette engine in the 78 Trans-AM in the game and I'm telling you it's a beast.
I literally did this yesterday.. that 1 lap is a pain 😂
Kinda crazy that’s it’s so hard to get them and to me that makes this glitch less of a cheat than a money glitch

It's not bad at all , it's just a temporary glitch that everybody needs to take advantage of due to the rarity of the engine swaps and special parts , never got a single engine or special item with the daily roulette in the three months that I've played the game

Try the lancia delta with vr38 swap it's also insane that and the m3 with p65 are my favorite cars now

I just wish they added the p60b40 engine (which is the engine used in the 2004 BMW M3 GTR). Then, it would actually be the nfs gtr
The actual M3 GTR was already in gt6 so hopefully they premiumize it and add it to gt7 as a gr3 car

It's interesting I find your video today with a MOST WANTED M3 after making myself one over the weekend. Only to find out you cannot Turbo or super charge the inline 6. Soooooo imma replicate your strategy here
Maybe have a premium currency that you can get from the tickets or races with special rules or difficulty, that you can use in a storefront for crate motors
That eco challenge to get the last Rx-7 is brutal. Took me 4 days and several UA-cam videos to get it right. Funny we actually got the same time on it
I just give up on that challange and bought a used rx7 fc and call it a day im not going back to that nighmare of a mission lol and getting a free chaparal 2j is way easier then getting a free rx7 fc lol

Pretty cool doubt they have a P60b40 so it's not possible to actually make it very close plus the lack of the V1 body kit or probably any of the GTR body kits and no side exit but I mean the P65b44 is pretty cool to and I think they did a 4 litre for the e92 gt cars but that's probably the closest engine swap you can get and it's still cool

You can also put the LS7 BRZ engine in the Nissan S13 Q series, not the k series the k series isnt compatible but the LS7 BRZ can have 1200 hp maxed out
If there's a replayability to regrant that engine swap reward, that would be great.
I haven't played this, so I don't know of engine swap compatibility, but a delorean engine swap?

I hope you get the Porsche engine. It will go into the 1960s Volkswagens. The Lexus motor goes into the Tundra or the Toyota Crown Athlete.
The e46 M3 GTR had a V8 as standard. The normal M3 and M3 CSL were both i6.
Also, is it normal that EVERY "prize" from the roulette thing to be the worst item available? I've got well over 100 hours in the game and have never had more than the lowest item offered.

it shouldnt be so hard to get bore up s weight reduction 5 carbon propeller shaft ultra high turbos high lift camshaft s stroke up s and titanium connecting rods and pistons they should add a trade center or a 50+shop to buy them

It ONLY works between the Toyota collection and Mazda collection. Using the Honda collection for the glitch won't work for some reason

You don’t have to watch the whole video to do it just click on it then close, collect reward. Go back click on the Mazda one, collect and just go back and fourth.
I used to beat up the hackers from GT5 & GT6. With Kaz locking all the special parts (Stage 5 weight, carbon driveshaft), I'm now on the side of the dataminers and hackers. 😎👍
I have an LS9 and an SC430 engine. And no cars compatible for them except for the car that the LS9 belongs to

I have gotten 5 engine swaps (without the glitch) by playing nearly everyday sine launch. But i guess some people are less lucky.
True i only got the 13b and lt5 the legit way all the other engine swaps i got them with this glitch

I changed my RX7 engine to the 787B and it has 989bhp. It's scary.
You also don’t have to watch the whole video when you click on the Toyota and rotary pages! just click it open and leave immediately you don’t have to go through buddy showing you all about the cars at all.
I’ve been doing this for a couple of days and have gotten all the motors plus duplicates but it won’t give me a K20 😡
