It's a complete Workspace with apps and tools and many that you cannot access on a free Google Account. However, the main reason people use GW is for the business email capabilities.

Now, there's a small issue: I noticed at 11:51, as you were composing the Gmail message, the "To" field did not have the Mail Merge icon next to the "Cc Bcc", even though this is supposed to be a Workspace account and not a personal account. I have this happening with me as well. Why do you think that is?

My account was the Business Starter plan, and I had to switch to Business Standard for that feature to be unlocked :) By the way, here's a REAL question for you: about Google Workspace's email limit of (up to) 2000 per day. Is this email limit per *user* or is it per Workspace *account*? So in other words, let's say a Google Workspace account has added ten users to it. Do *each of those users* have a 2000 allowable email recipient count to send emails to, or does the 2000 daily limit get divided between the users (so '200' allowable emails per each of the ten users)?

Wow, quick question to ANYONE?!?! I apparently have two separate Google workspace accounts within my current email address, which I NEVER KNEW I DID UNTIL I STARTED EXPERIENCING ALL OF THIS NONSENSE! I apparently am not the administrator of my own accounts. How could someone commit fraud using Google workspace accounts and what can I do to get help? I called everywhere and since I am not the administrator, I get absolutely nowhere with anything not even me sending reports out to Google..the emails are being sent back to me and are just being archived only for me to have to constantly change settings and stop sync just to get just as far as just seeing it in black and white. Hey! This is not possible using a personal account like Outlook. It's important to keep accounts seperate hence why it is very easy to switch between accounts. However, in saying that you can setup email forwarding to any account (one way only).

Hey Carol, They will get sent the details to their personal email or other email you added. If not you can copy and send the details manually. When you add someone they get a whole new Google account with all the apps included.

Google has made my four email addresses non-functional: two gmail address, one through my internet provider and my main address @icloud for business and as Secretary to organizations and editor of a magazine. Once you sign up however. Google prioritises whoever is admin. Meaning your personal email address is then at the mercy of another person. This is a problem. Should that person move jobs, or you. Admin is the gatekeeper.

Actually, I was wrong. I was unaware I only was given 1 license when I signed up. Google makes it look like you have 10, but you must pay for each person you add. I guess mentioning that in the video would have been helpful for beginners like myself. The video was helpful though overall..

Welcome! You can use anything that you like. However, it's best practice to use your name and then other names as your alias.

It does to add user, however, I suggest you add an email alias. You can up to 25. You can also send and receive with that alias.
But if you want to send out outlook meeting invitations you need to have a real user because for aliases there is no calender involved, right?

For some reason Gmail is not available on my Google Workspace Admin Console Services. FYI the domain lapsed for a few months due to inactivity. Used to be able to access the customized domain email prior to lapse, however now I am unable to access gmail. Need help.

But how do you add user account to Workspace if you are not using Gmail.... users already have their own email, and dont need new email, but simply need access to ie. Drive....
You can give them access to your drive even if they do not have a Google Workspace account.

You will need to create collaborative emails (email groups). We have tutorials on this.
Be advised, you are not able to do anything Stewart is telling you if your Trial Plan is still in place. I had to figure that out the hard way.

Actually, I was wrong. I was unaware I only was given 1 license when I signed up. Google makes it look like you have 10, but you must pay for each person you add. I guess mentioning that in the video would have been helpful for beginners like myself. The video was helpful though overall..
