At 1:50:24 you can see that Evan first puts in one hardwood which Katelyn notices. Just as Evan is about to put in the rest 43 hardwoods, Katelyn takes the one out of the chest. So when the hardwood stack was about to be updated, the hardwood item was already gone and so the 43 hardwoods just disappeared into nothingness!
This was the sacrifice by your own mods it seems! 😉
can they not usualy access the same chest at the same time without the mod? it might just be a glitch in the game.

You guys are my favorite youtubers!!! Please don't ever stop being so awesome! I'm so sorry about Joobi, she was loved so much from afar with all of us and will be missed very much. Joob couldn't have had more perfect parents for her❤
A few quick tips:
- at the start of each season buy all available seeds and plant at least 2 of each, 9+ for community center crops
- all foragables that spawn around town reset every Sunday
- plant a couple of grass starters around your farm on the last day of each seasons to spawn more free grass the next day
- sell unwanted weapons/boots at the adventurer’s guild
- get friendly with the NPCs, they’ll start sending you gifts and recipes!
- once you learn the big chest recipe, everything will be so much easier storage-wise
- PLEASE check what toggles your UiSuite mod menu, there you can change walking speed, + a thousand more “cheaty” settings
- make sure to visit secret woods for hard wood and fern
Pet animals every morning, never forget to feed them - fill it daily, and after 5pm daily, close their barn doors and they gain happiness faster. With the door closed the next day you can easily pet them inside while you feed them, just rem to open the door and let them out daily, too, unless it’s raining.
I think Evan put 46 hardwood in the chest at the exact same time as Katelyn was taking them out and the mod glitched them into the void.
I put it on .25 speed and it just blips out of existence. The trash can pops, so thought it went there maybe? It's super strange!

I’m glad Evan is having fun with the mods and hacks, but it does decrease my enjoyment of watching the game a little when they aren’t actually *playing* the game. Part of what I enjoy about stardew is the progression. Hacking everything you need is a little lacking in the game play for me. But I am still glad they’re having fun with it ultimately.
2:19:28 You can increase your walking speed with the UISuite mod that you have already! Please check/assign which button toggles that mod’s menu in the mod config settings and a whole new world will open up to you, including walking speed and time travel back and forth!!!

Evan's ADHD was STRONG today. I think the whole table thing was more about rhythmic euphoria than cheating. Rhythmic euphoria could also be described as stemming.

No, it works just as good with a controller or a mouse and a keyboard. Its all about what you are more used to using.
If you are using mods a controller may get more awkward.

The QoL add-ons are one thing, but the table multiplier is just a cheat, why even play anymore.

I just recently found out on my switch playthrough that you can use a scythe on any crop to harvest it, not just crops like wheat, kale, amaranth, etc
I believe it's only the scythe you get from unlocking the farming mastery. that how it worked for me in my last switch play trough
I didn't expect you to return to streaming games so soon, but I'm certainly not complaining/very happy to see another Stardew video. ☺ Sending the two of you good vibes. 💚 And I gotta say; the time-pausing mod makes this so much more relaxing to watch (and play, I'd bet) as a stream. Also, funny coincidence that this got uploaded just a few days after I tried playing Stardew with a controller for the first time (after years of playing with mouse + keyboard). Unfortunately I couldn't get the controller to work for the fishing mini-game. ☹ It seems some other people are having trouble with controllers on the 1.6 PC version too... Currently still hoping I just had the wrong settings. 🤞 But yeah, when it works the seamless switching between controls that Stardew offers is pretty cool! A lot of people play and love the game on consoles, so imo keyboard/mouse vs controller is ultimately just a preference thing.
You can switch between the chests in the Chests Anywhere mod by using the arrow keys. Much easier than clicking on the names to find the right one, IMO.
EDIT: For caves you should have the mod Combat Overhaul that lets you attack towards where the mouse is pointed independently of where you last moved with WASD, as has been said several times.
You should also plant a lot of trees at the train area

My 2nd playthrough of Stardew Valley, I did a Joja run with no overnight inventory (everything had to be sold except the tools and equipments placed in the world, like furnaces). It was a challenge to finish the museum and update the house, but it was fun! It made me realize how much money is usually just waiting in chests!
I prefer keyboard for menus and tool switching, but yeah, joystick is much better for walking. I may have to get myself a keyboard with a joystick.
You should get a mod that makes it where your achievements and levels shared don’t know if it exists but it would be really helpful I hope yall see this!

At first I was very glad to see a new video. We (my girlfriend an l and me) ready like watching your videos and that your back making videos made me glad. But I've done something I've never done. I've stopped the video and will not finish it. The moment you used the duplication glitch to such and extent to get numerous copper and 14 sprinklers I didn't like it. To use the mods, I get, somewhat.... To test if such a glitch works. Yes... I've tested a few cheat codes myself, but usually once you never use it again... but to make so many duplicates... Why!
After you're first video we've bought Stardew valley and played it, and yes I myself get Evan, I don't like the time limitations either even get frustrated if the days done. But I'm getting somewhere now after persevering. And seeing you cheat to such an extent...
Sorry but I didn't like this at all....
Another way to look at it is that it is largely just compressing time. They didn't cheat in things like the advanced iridium sprinklers or anything they didn't already have access to, it just shortened the hours of grinding to get more of the sprinklers they already had. And it frees them from a time consuming and tedious task of daily watering a little bit sooner than they might have done naturally.
Sure there's some value and enjoyment in the journey, but Stardew was a 200 hour play through for me and I'm not sure with all the other games out there they'll realistically be putting in another 46 streams of it to get to the end of content so I'm more than happy to see them skip forward through some of the grind if it means they'll get to see more of the game.
@@philip1382 while I understand what you're getting at. And I understand streaming a game is different than playing a game. I simply didn't enjoy it. They play together with mods that stop time that litigates a lot of the grinding. With the money earned with the diamonds they could have bought the materials. Want to walk faster, Buy a stable and a horse or drink coffee. But that is my opinion, yours may differ of course.
i didn't like duplicating of the diamond. i don't mind the walking speed increase. oof you went and duplicated all those other items too hahaha alright i'll grant it, it was funny. as twitch said we need a no cheese emote. it should be a table with a forbidden symbol on it. (circle with a diagonal line).

I've been playing SDV for aes now, I'm just shy of 1000hrs game time, and since watching all your streams, I can confirm, ChestAnywhere mod is THE most amazing mod hahaha. It makes everything SO much easier.

You have discovered one perk of multiplayer! I use this in skull cavern on iridium nodes, you get double iridium if you hit the last break together, and double prismatic shards! 😮😅

What happened to the hardwood: I could not clip as I watched on the vod, but it starts on timestamp 02:23:48. Evan clicks them twice and they vanish. It does look like the trashbin is touched. You can increase your walking speed with the UI info mod I think, check options. It might be the movement speed mod tho.
i keep ignoring it lol but technically in real life a pepper and tomato are fruits.
I didn’t realize how good I had it for game controls until watching this. I’m gonna say SteamDeck is the best of both worlds as far as controls for this game. You have the controller style inputs for movement, especially during combat/mining, and you have tons of buttons you can map to create your own shortcut keys for viewing the map, pulling up the super chest mod, etc. Plus, you have trackpads for precise control of the mouse. My only problem comes when I leave the mouse hovering over my inventory slots, or too close to where I’m trying to mine or combat and my aim overrides to the mouse and not where I’m facing.
I was concerned when I saw the title of the next stardew stream...but after finishing this livestream I think I know what they're gonna say 😆

every month you need to sell everything you can on the last day, and spend it ALL on the first day getting crops, i usually buy 200-400 seeds per month and thats first year too! the whole premise of the game is farming, so it makes sense that it makes you the most money

Started with steamdeck (controls) ... supports both/hybrid To be honest ... iOS mobile - Tablet has auto attack ... i find it easier except for its choice of gold scythye over the galaxy sword! ... dont cluster your lightning rods, they cover an area. They are more cost effective spread out. Sadly cant use around town and are not needed on ginger island
there's a joystick and button setting option on mobile. they're big red buttons but they're transparent so it's not a problem. You get two buttons and a joystick, one button does one thing and the other does stuff like blocking with a sword, getting moss of the tree, just other stuff, and the first does chopping and damage and stuff... and the joystick is a joystick, and I like that better. Maybe you should try it on mobile.
You gotta stop cheating so much. The duplification is getting really overboard, this is not stardew anymore
Mobile Stardew is easier than console or PC bc you don't have to manually switch between tools. If I tap on a tree I automatically chop with an axe and if I tap a rock I automatically break it with my pickaxe etc. My deepest condolences on the loss of Joobi. Losing our furry loved ones is so hard, my heart and thoughts are with you.

Controllers are the only option for couch coop situations, which is the only way I can play with my wife and kids since I don't have 4 PCs and 4 copies of the game. I tend to agree on KBM being superior even in casual play - 'tis just easier!
When I sell I keep 5 to 10 of each item that are easy to get like fishing or crops. I keep all wood, stones and ores.

i started stardew on keyboard and mouse on the pc, then i moved over to switch and the controller for a few years, recently i opened my pc save file and was royally confused with a mouse 😂😂
How long into the video before someone mentions they can go into settings and fix the cursor for the controller

Like the quality of life mods. But in my personal experience, when you break the game with things like the multiplier hack it ruins the incentives to play through the game
At this point I think you could just get Automate mod, maybe you wouldnt need to use the table then ;)
