I was just there today. Every time I go back the landscape changes. Its a fun spot and i get color in every pan.
I went to the left of the creek right behind that huge chunk of bedrock underneath that tree. I hit that clay and was on the best gold I've ever found there.
I haven't tried my sluice. I just pan it and suck it up with the snuffer bottle.
Stay safe and have fun.
Wow never heard that one before. I’ve tried all up and down the creek along side of banks and in clay and found very little. I find more platinum than anything.
Great job getting that Au fam. Try making the hole wider or dig out a drain way just to let the water pass through. Heads up you might want to run that drain way dirt as well. Sometimes I'll find a better pocket two steps from me 😂. Keep on having fun getting that Au and living the dream. Gold Squad Out 🤠
Great advice I’ll definitely put it to use next time thanks bro!
I'm use to gravel mix but I see that your getting rid of the gravel first. Well good luck and I hope you get alot of gold.
Right on, I would love to see you hit that layer. Maybe one of these days I’ll sneak over and help you dig for a day.
It’s a good layer of it can be reached. Tricky stuff!
Just loving nature. Hope you find a nugget big as a watermelon
Thanks me to!
Great colors! Cant wait for some drier weather myself! Its been wet in the pnw this year
Yeah it has! Thanks for watching and dropping a comment
You have the perfect setup
Thanks I like it,I actually have 6 sluice boxes and use different ones on occasion.
Thanksnfor the shot out! Glad to see someone else talk just like me! I say stuff like shovelsfullsofstuff all the time!
😂 proud to have your sticker in the green machine
You should try using a clam gun you can pump down a couple feet and pull out the sand like a core sample
New sub, just found your videos. nice gold your getting. I need to get me one of those wagons. Keep up the work.
Hi Larry, thanks for subscribing and yes the gorilla cart are awesome. I really like the dump feature and mine is even water tight.
G'Day Kevin,
Hey mate that looks like a beach in Nome Alaska👍 Staggering amounts of Gold in that Black Sand. Thanks for sharing your video. Cheers Kev
Appreciate it, if I can just get a little deeper the gold is incredible
Next time I go to the coast I'm looking for that layer of black sand. You got a lot of specks in that pan.
Go for it! If you hit it just right, you will be in the gold!
Not a bad day for less than 2 hrs. Maybe try using some of that driftwood to help shore up the edges, and dig a drain line to help drain the hole.
Heavy Pans!!!
Thanks!
Nice spot i like❤
Thanks!
Great video and some nice looking gold!
Thanks for sharing
🙏❤️🌲
Thanks, I need to go deeper, just a taste but that is the old paystreak finally at reach
Glad you were able to get back out there. Sorry about the rain. Good seeing another video. Looking forward to your 2024 adventures.
Funnest 90 minutes in almost two months 😂
Yes, as @GSProspecting says, dig a drain way so the hole empties out. It is what I would do. Thank you for sharing your journey, it is very inspiring to other Oregon beach miners like myself. Keep up the good work…and the vocabulary is spot on funny. My kind of language.
Appreciate it, yeah the slip ups can add a bit of humor 😂 it’s definitely a lot different trying to dig through deep watery sand.
That's some good looking stuff there
Just hitting the edge of the good layer, I WILL reach it
Looks like a nice spot on google Earth. I've had really good luck at Nesika, and that was just from scratching th surface black sand deposits, but I'll have to checkout this spot next time I'm in Coos Bay.Just found your channel...liked and subbed!
Right on! Yeah I’ve done awesome here more than once but the layer is still buried deep. It’s the first time I’ve rediscovered the layer in 5-6 years so I hope it continues to shallow out. Great platinum also. I’ve been wanting to hit Neskia for ages. Thanks for the sub bro! Also subbed
@Goldhunter7769 Aww, thanks man!...I just looked and I'm almost at 1000, which is crAzY to me! I appreciate it. I'll let you know next time I head to Nesika, and I can't wait to go through your other videos! Take care!
Awesome to see ya back on that GOLD stickers are fire bro nice 👍👍👏👌

Right on brother. Them boxes were running good and the stickers were looking good too. That dang rain though.. 🌧 😒. But u battled through and got some gold. Ive been snowed out untill the do some road plowing. Gonna try to get somthing going this weekend. Thanks for the video
Always appreciate ya Kris and proud to Rock your sticker. Heavy pans over the hill!
Try getting a few 2 foot pieces of sheet metal or stainless and Try diverting the water away from where you are going to be digging. With that running water slide the metal back and forth and just keep doing it and it'll just keep going down. Almost like when I use to build docks. I would take a 2 1/2 inch pump and switch the hose around so it would blow the water instead of sucking and I would wrap it next to my piling and the force from the water line blowing the sand out you could sit down and watch the piling just slowly sinking in the sand and when you got it to the depth you wanted ease up the hose and then it would back fill the sand next to your piling and go to the next one. It sounds real easy and for the most part it was but it was a slow process. Depending on the docks if it was for a commercial dock where they rented slips out for boats we had to sink them 18' feet under the sand. We marked the poles up from the bottom 18' feet and Depending on the depth of the water I had to put my scuba gear on we would get the piling in place and then when we got it started and in the right place start blowing out the sand and watch it sink. We might get 2 of them done in a day and maybe if we were lucky get a 3rd one started. Back to what I was saying about diverting the water if it's running like it was there you just take the metal and start sliding it back and forth putting down pressure on it while you slide it and it won't take no time for you to divert it. Take you 15 minutes to get your metal in place.
That’s great information! I see you have a lot of experience in this type of work. Illegal to use motorized pumps down here is the main problem.
Looks like your getting on it! Some good looking stickers there! 😜
Love your sticker!
Try trenching a run off 4 water, use a foot pump to remove water , shore up with drift wood , sure like to give beach sand a try .
All great ideas, I’ll do something like that next time!
I’ve got gold there in the past Im recommending you get a old school one man auger shovel that you spin to load with material and some sonotube To slide down the hole to prevent it from caving in
Good idea , I appreciate it!
Well, I don't know, but I think it's useless to fight wet quicksand. Probably I'll be waiting for more dry weather, when the water will come down.
Then I would try to dig again as dip as possible and after that I would use, for example, something like a manuall fence post drill, t-shaped. Maybe it'll work better than showel. Also I would try to dip in that whole some tubes, maybe even some plastic tubes. To get some soil, dirt or black sand in it
Nailed it, actually bringing a clam gun next time if you’re familiar with those it’s a large tube that pulls up deep sand.
He'll yea
Just a thought use a clam shell post hole digger..
That’s a great idea, plan on going back and trying that!
May not be getting rich but it sure is fun and painful but worth it 😅
Nailed it. I especially like finding more platinum on some days because I can’t name one other person sluicing for platinum.
New SUB from Texas here! Just found your channel and liked your video. I don't know the rules up there yet but are you allowed to have any battery-operated equipment on that beach. Possibly planning a trip this summer and I have the Gold Cube with the trommel which I think would go through that material pretty easy. Thanks in advance and great job on the Au.
Motorized not allowed on Oregon beaches, yeah that’s a problem! Thanks for the sub!
Well that stinks. Good luck on your future digs and I appreciate the quick response. Heavy Pans!!@@Goldhunter7769

Are you able to be motorized if you are self contained?
Good day. If you had a couple of guys workin with you than you could really run some serious sand... Have you ever used a clam gun to get sand down deep to test areas?
Oh wow buddy that’s the perfect solution! I almost bought one but forgot! I’ll definitely pick one up and try.
Looks like your water is running heavy on one side and you didn't leave any room for your pilings. It's just going to build up at the end of your sluice box.
Good eye! Yes sometimes as I’m recording , I can’t tend to the mining side as often as I’d like but a lot of off camera stuff I don’t bore people with like clearing my tailings pile. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment.
Burn some of that wood to stay warm
Would a heavy duty posthole digger get you down farther?
That might just work . Hard to say if it would get stuck until I try. Quick sand is tricky stuff!
Have you tried cow creek?
Many times but never found much
Do you prefer wisky run or gold beach more?
I’ve never made it to gold beach yet. Definitely in the plans, Nesika is supposed to be the best around Gold beach.
Cut the bottom out of a 5 gallon bucket and shove it down as you dig.
Great idea, I’ll have to try that thanks!
Show me your gold
Plenty to be seen. Check out my short $1000 Gold
