Chesterfield! Haven’t heard that in years! Growing up in the 50s, that’s what sofas or couches were called. There is a city in the UK called Chesterfield. As for Celery, I say it the way you do and I’m from Victoria British Columbia Canada. Love your card! ❤️😊🇨🇦
Just love this design! Depending upon the sentiment and the focal word die this design can be used year round. My mother was from Winnipeg, Manitoba and her family used those words also - serviette, Chesterfield etc. Thank you for sharing
Lovely card Laura! I would have no trouble understanding your husband. Growing up with parents who were Scots, from serviette to chesterfield my friends often had no clue what I was talking about!
I understand your husband perfectly! Lol. I’m from Alberta. However, I say “celery” the same as you do. I’ve never heard of it being pronounced “salary”. Love your card!
So nice to see other colors for the holidays.

Definitely!
Your husband is using terms and pronunciation from the King’s English
v cute card! The 'salary' thing might just be an Alberta thing, especially in the outlying areas.
Lovely card Laura! I would have no trouble understanding your husband. Growing up with parents who were Scots, from serviette to chesterfield my friends often had no clue what I was talking about!
Isn't our diverse world the best!?
I lived in Vancouver, BC for 4 years, and that pronunciation of pastadrove me CRAZY. Does your husband also call a snow hat a touque?
