Very nicely performed ..kudos.. absolute command of the instrument. Just a point to make. Too much excess of anything makes it boring and complicated . It's just math and firing math in the playing making it overbearing. We would love a healthy balance of sarvalaghu and math. Makes it interesting and adds to the suspense and plasing to the ears.. I hope Kanjeeraman sees the point. Absolutely outstanding command of the instrument, just need a healthy balance
Sir, I agree that there should be a balance. But if you observe the thani avarthanam, you’ll notice that the entire format of the thani is based on thavil patterns and solkattus. So it wouldn’t be very appropriate to try to add in sarvalaghu patterns. And also if you see some other thani avarthanam videos in his channel, you can see that he has played an entire thani avarthanam with sarvalaghu patterns. So it is all about the thani format
