My favorite is the new Summer Memories. I want to make every quilt in the book and the cross stitch pillows are such a bonus. I’ve finished half of the pillows and gathered up most of the fabrics to start the quilts.😊

I enjoy just sitting and looking through Summer Memories. However, my favorites are the Lori Holt books. Scrappiness is Happiness is at the top of my favorite list. I love all the large Lori Holt books, Vintage Christmas, Farm Girl Vintage 1 and FVG 2, Spelling Bee, and Scrappiness is Happiness. A Scrapbook of Quilts ranks pretty high, but my absolute favorite is Charming Baby Quilts because of the cover quilt.

I find it hard to decide between Scrappiness is Happiness and Vintage Christmas, but then that leaves out the others I have. I just love them all as they are so easy to read & follow the patterns in them all.

When I started to learn how to quilt during the pandemic I checked out several books from my local library from different designers/ authors. After sewing along with Sewcialites 1 I quickly learned and loved how well-written FQS patterns were shown! So the first book I purchased was the Simply Half Yards Quilt Book, and I am very much looking forward to Simply Jells Rolls Book.📚 😀
So many beautiful quilts! My favorite right now is Jolly Bar #4. Every It's Sew Emma book (or pattern) I've purchased is so easy to follow because you include full-color pictures. Kimberly, it was fun to hear how you named the baby quilts, and your stories are great!
I have several. Farm Girl vintage is my favorite at this point. I appreciate the clarity of the instructions -especially the pictures. Sometime I just go by them😂. I also very much appreciate it when the books are spiral bound. So worth it.
SEW fun to see all the quilts today! I have 4-5 of the books, but I think my most favorite is the Spelling Bee book by Lori Holt. There are patterns in the book for fun quilts. But the best part is that I can personalize ANY quilt using the letter patterns.

All of the books are exceptional but I have probably used those two books the most. I have the Simply Half Yards book and am very excited to give some of those patterns a try. My fave It’s Sew Emma book is impossible to pick. I love the way these books are written with fabric requirements and cutting instructions labeled in a graph format in color. I really like the very specific step by step instructions. I love the color illustrations. I love the photography! I love that they are printed in America. I couldn’t possibly pick a fave!

The new “celebrate with quilts” is already on my must-have-list ❤ I also might add scrappiness is happiness to my very slowly growing book stash. The Sunny side fabric is sooo pretty 😍
Friday is Sewing Livestream day 😂 My favorite It's Sew Emma book is Perfect 10 Quilts. It's my favorite bc I prefer precuts over yardage. Cutting is the bane of my quilting existence - I tell people I'll hand bind all of your quilts if you'll just cut my yardage 😂
Fat Quarter Baby is one of the first quilt books I ever bought, and I have made several of the quilts, including the Whale, and the Teddy Bear! Oh my goodness! My favorite It’s Sew Emma book is almost impossible to say, but I do LOVE all of the Lori Holt books.

The Duckie quilt was changed because In Minnesota they say Duck, Duck, Grey duck versus Duck , Duck, Goose. So my duck quilt had a center grey duck. The whale quilt has been made over 5x. In fact I have personally sold 4 of these books for you. My friends would ask me for my book all the time and they got sick of me saying, "so & so has it."
