I found a car similar to mine but a couple years older (theirs is a 97 Lumina, mine a 99 Cutlass). She said it’s seized up and had a blown head gasket. Makes me wonder if I could buy a $300 car and basically only really need a gasket kit to get it running. Main issue is that I’m still living on a family property for now so I’m limited to how many vehicles I can have sitting here.
@@You-Tube...005 yes I have a blown head gasket and one of the cylinders had like a cup of water and the engine is seized. I was just wondering if it would be worth it trying to unlock it or just replacing the engine.

Did it work? After reassembling the engine?
Yes, but keep in mind that it was locked up from water being in the cylinders. The bottom end was still good.
