It's a fun mix and even in the manga we've seen that Kushans aren't evil, just as any other humans. Hell I'm glad that sorcerer grandpa survived it was surprising to see him again and in such a place too.

I realized berserk has even more deeper and complex understanding of God and metaphysics as a whole. The way the mangaka explored God, Fate, Destiny etc. is so good. Respect to sensei Muira.
