For the Fauna clip, she had classic music playing in the background. The music in that clip WAS RANDOM. It just randomly selected Ode to Joy out of nowhere just seconds after she crashed. It was absolutely crazy and Fauna lost it laughing for 20 minutes.

*Luke, the thing about that clip is that the music was actually NOT EDITTED into the clip!* The game just started playing the song the exact moment the truck landed in that glorious pose!
And it KEPT GOING! And GOING! AND ESCALATING! AND THEN IT STARTS SINGING! *I was watching the stream when that happened* and I was laughing so hard I was actually hurting! In fact watching it again now I was wheezing on my desk! *And the best part is that Fauna was losing it just as hard as we were!!!* 🤣🤣
it wasnt the game that had the music, it was faunas playlist on-stream. also yeah i was also present during that live stream and its just one of those you had to be there in the moment situations, its not really a replicable experience with clips. its simply a uniquely stream-related piece of art.
I tuned into that stream about 2 minutes before it happened and man I really needed that laugh that day.
Also the fact that she wasn't controlling the camera, it was just slowly spinning on its own.
Honestly the most impressive thing that come out of that clip was Kiwawa also playing Trucking Simulator and singing that in real time while driving it.

The Fauna Pokemon clip was missing the bit about how she really dislikes how the starter pokemon will go from an animal on four feet to human-like and standing on 2 feet for a lot of the recent games, especially any cat-like pokemon. I think it's way back in the first stream she did of the game, when she was choosing her starter.

We definitely need more! Jello Clips does monthly highlights of HoloEN's funniest moments that he also compiles together into yearly highlights so you could watch those. Should probably start with "Funniest Hololive English Moments Of 2021" but those are about 30mins long so if thats too long you could watch the monthly versions which are about 10mins.

Oh, also, on the Pokemon clip: You'd probably need to be a Pokemon fan to get it without explaination. In recent years a LOT of originally quadruped starter Pokemon end up standing on 2 legs, with some level of anthropomorph look, making them look like people wearing fursuits. As a Pokemon fan, Fauna's reaction is understandable.

For that Fauna clip, it wasn't edited or anything, it was her BGM that was just perfect timing that was the joke really. If I had to give you a clip recommendation, I would say this one: The clip is called "Fubuki met Pekora and it Ended With The Perfect Comedic in Rust!!" by "Noises V". It starts cute and ends in the comedy that makes me laugh-cry after many viewings.
The Fauna clip must be enjoyed in the moment or as part of the stream.
It is definitely one of the highlights of last year from Hololive.
I was there due to insomnia, and it was absolute peak entertainment.

Same! I usually only watch clips, and on the one time I caught the stream, I got to enjoy the great buildup leading to this moment! As well as the many other hilarious situations she got herself into earlier in the stream... It was 2 AM, I was crying laughing, basically it was the best time I've ever had watching a stream. Sadly when I showed it to other people later they didn't understand why it was funny, I guess the clip is only funny to viewers who remember the moment.
If I had a nickel every time a Hololive member made me laugh the whole clip as Ode To Joy played, I would have two nickels, which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.
the Clip at the end with Fauna and the Truck, the song played is first of all in German, and also the famous Beethoven´s Symphonie 9 , if i recall correctly

Seconding the Jello clips recommendations, they've been uploading good clip compilations since May 2021! One of their 'best of 20XX' compilations would be a good starting point. A lot of these clips are old, so it's strangely nostalgic seeing them again, like the Kiara Minecraft hole clip; it's weird hearing her 2021 voice again😄
Putting "Jump out" on F just feels intentional so that this joke could have been created 🤣
Now, with that Fauna clip, you have experienced true art. Brings a tear to your eye.

Personal recommendation for more clips: The monthly best of EN montages on Jello Clips channel. They also feature Holostars EN. I'm also sure there's other channels with similar compilations, that's just one I personally am subbed to.
I don't watch much Hololive anymore but it feels refreshing seeing old clips of them. More!

An - Kether, an example, a precedent to a reaction that might breach new heights and perspectives to what was that made this channel great in the first place. Genuine reaction at an endless variety of genres. A recommendation, a calming occurence.
5:57 Fauna was upset that her starter Pokémon followed the trend of evolving into a furry. A bunch of them just become humanoid with a few animal features and a lot of people don't like it.

Context for the Ame clip with her translator:
She was translating from English to Korean, and sword in Korean is 검, which when replenished is written geom. Korean doesn't actually distinguish k and g the way English does, so though it's written as a g, the sound is closer to k than g in this case. "Eo" is a vowel that's fairly close to the English U like in "up", but slightly different.
So it sounds close to "cum" when pronounced properly in Korean, but add on the typically not great pronunciation of translation software...
Would like to see some clips from the JP side since there are some legendary moments in there but doubt you will find any compilation of those so would have to go with playlist style or something

I remember Fauna just thinkin her stream will gonna be a chill one, at the point of playing opera music in the background, but just in the first part the accident happens and the timing of the music + the camera doing circles [automaticly] was enough to broken her making the longest laugh i remember [was 5 or 8 minutes?]

Like, she played euro truck simulator iirc and since you cant get DMCA-ed for classic music, she had that radiostation running. I think a lot of the views and likes is people who saw that stuff live. Could you react to clips from non Hololive vtubers, nothing against Hololive clips but feel like there’s not enough content from other vtubers on this channel. Not sure what videos are best but would recommend checking out a best of vshojo or a vshojo out of context video
The reason the longer clip didn't get the same attention is that in general longer hololive clips don't do as well. Plus, 3 minutes is enough time to get the context needed for the Fauna clip.
Hearing Sana again has made me both happy and sad, happy cause I know she's doing good but sad cause there's a whole generation of Holo fans that don't know who she is

Fauna had a hard time through out the entire game. She decided to just park the truck "Bethany" and call it a day. And going around the final corner, fate stepped in and she crashed. That was the straw that snapped the Kirin's back. That's why she went quiet and just let the music play. It kind of broke her.
F.Y.I "camel" in Japanese is "rakuda". Assuming you're not from a country where people speak of straw breaking giraffe backs instead of camels that is! ;)

The Fauna truck clip is somewhat of a 'you had to be there' situation. The absurd way that her truck cab landed flat on its nose, combined with her own bgm playlist randomly playing the classical music immediately after just broke her and chat. Taken out of context it just looses something.

Call me boring, but I think this is the best kind of YLYL challenge. Where you TRY not to laugh, but then you just do anyway.
The punishment ones take up too much time. And the worst are the "Video ends if I laugh" that are like 5 minutes long.
Love the content but we need more recent clips, as someone who got into Holo because of Advent, it feels so weird watching compilations that don't include them.
