@@MrKarlyboy And yet those wages are still far lower relative to costs of living such as rent, utility bills, council tax, food, and transport.
And assuming your attrocious generalisation is correct and these Millenials are buying a Starbucks every day (as a worst case scenario, £5 per day), that's £35 a week which is £1820 a year.
So to save for a £10k deposit on a house (not unreasonable when compared against what a lot of boomers will have paid "back in the day"), it will take about 5.5 years...HOWEVER, with the continuing rise in house prices prices, by the time they reach that 5.5 year mark, the house prices will have risen even further.
Add to that, with the constant rise in rents and food/energy bills over that same course of time, those millenials will most-likely not even be able to afford the Starbucks anyway and the money they would have spent on this hypothetical daily Starbucks will just be swallowed-up by bills, which renders the notion of "iF OnLy ThEy DiDn'T bUy StArBuCkS" meaningless.

For balance I benefitted a lot personally from this move by Sunak. So no envy here.

Then you get to pensioner age and start voting for the party who cuts the services for the young folk and protects all the pensioners - you become the only age demographic whose income increases in real terms in 14 years. Your benefits are paid for by just two younger full time workers (strangers) who can’t afford a house or to start a family, who have debt from university, uncertainty in the job market, don’t know their GP, can’t get an NHS dentist - but they’re paying for your lifestyle.
And you know what makes you maddest? Where is the respect for the elders gone? You gave it to your parents from the ‘greatest generation’ and now it’s your turn. But somehow these younger generations seem to resent you and that makes you furious.

I live in the North West where the average house price is £243k, for someone earning £30k that's still 8x their annual wage BEFORE tax at 4.5% interest now. That's just average too, nothing special about the house. The truth is love, you couldn't afford your house today, you wouldn't get anywhere near it and the large interest rates you had to pay decades ago don't come close to equating the difficulty of overcoming an 8:1 ratio of house price to average wages. This is just the North West too, the average South East price is £450,000 that's a 15:1 ratio which is utterly insane.
