The Mutant Chronicles - Shorts - Demnogonis

While some armies of Capitol Space Marines struggle to face Algeroth and his legions on Mars, something more sinister is awakening on Venus. A planet known for having the highest concentration of Dark Symmetry cultists, they have unearthed a network of ancient temples present on the planet since time immemorial. Here a disembodied voice has led the cultists to perform a ritual to give a new physical form to an entity remained locked within the walls of these temples. An ancient and alien magic and a bloody sacrifice by the most devoted of the zealots have brought to life Demnogonis the defiler. A monstrosity formed from the same toxic elements typical of Venus, who did not hesitate to give his most faithful worshipers a deviant physical mutation that mirrored that of the creator: thus were born the legions of Necromutants.
