You can try. This method is more loose then the Linux method. But if this also doesn't work then you should try to install android. I have a video about installing Android in my playlist. Cheers
@@TheArtmann thx for immediate reply sir!
there is a specification .rammus is for only 4th gen+
Yes. That's why I specified that for 3rd gen is recommended samus image. But to be more precise, if you check the github page, it says.. n I quote.. " "rammus" is suggest for 1st gen -> 9th gen". So nobody says it will not work on 3rd gen or lower, but fromy experience it will be full of bugs, like touch pad or keyboard not working, wifi etc
actually installing chrome os is very difficult -_-

Core2duo is not compatible
we dont need brunch release according to this video... right?
You need a Chrome os image. And u make a Chrome os image using brunch framework, of course. The reason why I didn't showed in this video is because I said something like "if u want to know how to make the chrome os video check out this other video" blah blah.
Anyway, there are also ready to use recovery images in the description. U can just download that
The grub is prompting you need to install the kernel first :(
Helpp mee
What CPU u have?
Not working when I click on chrome is it only shows some cmd and when it says press any key it's only loads the preparing automatic repair
U don't need this method with grub2win if you install on a full drive. I answered you in the other comment
When I tried this, then I rebooted to ChromeOS on Grub menu, but it says error: no suitable video mode gound. Booting in blind mode, and the screen freezes, and after a while it's rebooting. How to solve it?
Do u use the right image for ur CPU? And if yes, have you tried reinstalling it?
@@TheArtmann I've read some post and comments from people who use AMD CPU as me, they said if zork recovery is suitable for AMD CPUs, and some said that grunt is the one that will work. And yes, I've tried to reinstall it more than three times, and still getting the same result. And I also tried the triple boot method from How To Guys channel (cmiiw), but it only showing blank/ black screen. I waited for quite long time, but nothing's happened. My CPU is AMD A8, and I guess my CPU is not supported to use ChromeOS, thanks for replying btw😁

I don't find something about A8. I know about AMD is grunt for Stoney and Bristol Ridge and zork for Ryzen3. I will keep looking into it, maybe I find something.
I can't see the grub2win and grub2wincode in the description :(
I took them out. I will put them back when I find space on another account. Anyway, u might want to try the new method for which you don't need a code. Check out my latest dual boot video (NEW METHOD) from my Chrome OS playlist

Any suggestion? Thanks
Hi. I honestly never heard this till now. Usually when it's an issue.. like with internet... Is because of wifi or Ethernet failing to connect. But to connect to them and not have internet I never heard. I need to do some research about that.

- PING my gateway IP address through CROSH command prompt and the result is OK
- disable firewall in my wireless router

I still think the name is nvme0n1 but to be sure (because there are also other names like "mmcblk0" tho Idk which ones have this name) you can verify this in Linux mint, with gparted. Make a Linux mint USB and open gparted and there u get the names of all ur drives

Have u tried android os?
@@TheArtmann no i have not should i try downloading chrome os older version because they may work
Not likely. Latest compatible version was 79 I guess.. and u don't find that anymore
In grub2win It says that says that chrome os is not supported. and if I ignore this message and then want to install Chrome OS after the boot menu, an error message comes up
This video is old. Watch my newer one from my Chrome OS - Dualboot Chrome OS and Windows 10/11 NEW Method
I cannot download rammus (the website interface seems different than the one you are using in the video)
you mean that you are on my website. go to the chrome os page and read there. you'll understand. Plus, this is an older video, so you probably want to check my newer chrome os videos.
@@TheArtmann Hi, I was able to download rummus. However, when I load chromeOS on my laptop through grub2win boot menu, it says boot partition not found (after running some processes)
Maybe because I have NVMe
What CPU u have?
@@TheArtmann Almost gave up on my try to install ChromeOS. Anyways, i5-1135g7. Btw, I tried one other method as well i.e. I downloaded volteer r94 ready image from your website and used ruffus to make a bootable usb drive , it did seem to load the inital setup, but after builiding, and patching screen, my screen started to flicker (it was all black while flickering like it was turning on and off)
Hi
I have done everything like in the video but if i start booting the chrome Os i get the message that it can`t be found. I have a i5 10th generation and a ssd 250 gb. Please help me out i think sda is wrong or something with rammus isn`t right. Fast help would be appreciated.
Is ur SSD a NVMe?
I Don t know but what would I need to write then.Because I tried writing nvm4
@@lennyk9698 well, u made a partition right? And if u followed all the steps, at one point, after installing Grub2Win, u need to click on "partition list" button in Grub2Win and there u will see the exact name of your partition.. either something like "sda" followed by a number or, if u have NVMe, something like "nvme0n1p1" for example. Whatever name u have there for the partition u created, u need to put it in the script, replacing "sdax". Try to find the name and follow the tutorial again and you will figure it out
@L. K my bad... In partition list u don't see the name, just the number. So.. what u need to find out if ur drive is really nvme.
U said in ur comment that u tried nvm4 so I presume that 4 is the number shown in partition list?
If yes, then try with "nvme0n1p4"
it worked hurray
I have a amd 5500u laptop which image should I use
can you make same video for windows 11 and chrome os dualboot video ?
Windows 11 needs secure boot to be turned on while to use grub u have to disable secure boot, i guess u need to enable secure boot to install windows 11 and then turn it off later and use dual boot!
@@BelDomGaming thank you i installed chrome os with dualboot but now i can't turn on wifi on chrome os and chrome os stuck to "connect to network"' step can u give me solution of this error ?

Bro i Cant Access TO my Bios Setting
it Say '"Enter Bios Password" and i don"t know The Pass
Can you Help Me To Reset The Pass or Just Skip it
🖥My Specs:
Hp Elitebook 8470p
4gb Ram
intel HD Graphic 4000
i5 3210M
300GB HDD
U need to remember your password. That's not something that u can just skip. One way is to remove the CMOS battery, to guess. Better Google this up
@@TheArtmann i but the laptop wuth this password and i try to remove the cmos many time and i google it but cannot do anything...Plz if You Can Search For Me or Ask Anyone From Your Freinds
🙏
I honestly don't know bro. When I have a question that I don't know the answer I also Google till I find something. But with the bios bypass I know there aren't many options
So I've checked now and besides removing the battery there isn't much.
There is another option but kinda unstable:
"How to Bypass or Remove a BIOS Password using Software:
!BIOS is a freeware utility that is designed to be a whole BIOS and security suite. It has the ability to decrypt the passwords used in some of the most common BIOS makes such as Award, Phoenix, American Megatrends, IMB, etc.
It also has the ability to brute force the password (known as “blasters”). However, this method is dangerous and can result in some unexpected and unwanted results."
@@TheArtmann ok Thanks Bro
