Chattanooga was pretty fabulous - I mean this is at the same time as Bananarama, which had not yet enjoyed mainstream success. I also love ‘Någonting har hänt’, I sing it regularly.
There were 10 songs in total. Only 5 made it to a second voting (where the winner was ultimately found), and the ones that didn't make it through to the 2nd round instead finished in joint 6th position overall. 😊
Not a vintage Mello edition. Chattanooga had the best song. Very modern for its time and I think that would scored decently in Harrogate. I echo it's very like Bananarama. The other songs of highlight are Shanes and the runner-up from Lena Ericsson. What is with the hairbands with most of the female singers? 😂

1982 was far from being a vintage year. Instantly forgettable.
...I agree absolutely with you!!!
😮
...kanske Charlie Hilsson...
...vad vet jag, vad vet jag egentligen...
I believe that "Här har du din morgondag" had enough potential to atleast qualify. Annika's voice was really great during the end of the song!
Little Gerhard and Yvonne reminds me a little bit of Denmark’s 1992 entry. Similar melody in parts.
I don't understand ... Why so many 6th?

Laughable that Chattanooga didn't go to Harrogate.
We soon forget how truly terrible NF songs were back in the 1980s. These are dire.
Meh, 1982 was ok
With the exception of the winner (Ein Bisschen Frieden) the entire Eurovision year of 1982 might be one of the worst of the colour era.
One word, blah
