Not quite as thick of a mattress as I'd prefer. I really like that they offer a zoned support coil option (hybrid). The thickness aside, this AS3 is a contender. I would probably lean towards the AS2, but the AS3 seems like a good in-between for me and my wife. And with the ability to swap out and return for free it might be worth looking into.
A 6.5 firmness, seems like a really good bed for someone like me who needs that support for their back, but also likes some of the comfort that you seem to describe it would have. Also the ceiling vent cover sounds great.
I always see and hear good things about the Amerisleep Hybrid, For me I do not get as excited for it as I do the Layla hybrid or The Nest Alexandria Signature Hybrid in the Plush..lol but out Amerisleep I would lean towards the AS4 just because I am side sleeper and would prefer a plush softer bed. They have a lot more mattresses than I thought! I like this for the medium firmness that's good for combo sleepers. I mostly sleep on my side but I toss and turn from my back, stomach and side but seem to always wake up on my side. My shoulders have started to get sore from my hard mattress now so having the foam top would be a welcomed feature for me! I like hybrids for the durability. I would even think about getting the AS2 so I could get a little more firmness out of it. I like this has good edge support, that's a big issue for me.
Amerisleep make some nice mattress. I like that they offer it in five different firmness options. I really like the AS4 for having that thick layer of memory foam for great pressure relief as a side sleeper. The celliant cover is always a good addition. I see that they offer their beds with coils these days but i don’t know why they don’t offer it with the AS4
I never realized the size of a person could impact the difference of a mattress, I new it would a little but never really put much thought into it. Amerisleep sounds like a good choice for couples, and back sleeper!!
I like the Bio-Pur foam comfort layer - more responsive and breathable. It sounds as if I could be comfortable on this mattress as a combo back/side sleeper.
Thanks for the review. I'm not that familiar with this brand. Hybrid seems like a good choice. I don't like the sensation of sinking into memory foam, so perhaps this top layer with its quicker reacting memory foam would feel better. Would be interested in trying this one out.
Thanks for the great review. I wanted to ask you if you have any thoughts for very light weight sleepers (say under 120 pounds). Should they go for a firmer mattress like the s2 or s1, or rather go for a softer one like the s4 or s5? Thanks
If you bought from this company return your mattress now!!!! They will only last about 3 to 4 years!!! Even though they claim a twenty year warranty. Then when you file a claim they will find any excuse to deny it. Or just deny it with no cause.

AmeriSleep seems like a nice mattress with lots of choices. It’s good to know it should sleep on the cool side despite being memory foam. Looks comfy!

Watching this review, I would look at the AS4 or AS5 because I sleep on my side mainly. Thank you for the great information as aways :)

I like the removable cover but the mattress just looks a bit too soft for me.
Sounds like a good medium mattress. I don't think it's for me though after the review.
