- The Velar is the lowest, sleekest, and most aerodynamic Range Rover ever. The stylish and upscale packaging screams luxury. Prices range from $49,600 for the base P250 model up to $63,300 for the top P380 model. The D180 Diesel seen here starts at $55,900. Under the hood is a 2.0 liter 4-cylinder turbocharged diesel that makes 180 horsepower and 317 lb-ft. of torque. Fuel economy is 26 MPG in the city and 30 MPG on the highway. The Range Rover Velar is a very comfortable luxury SUV. The driving experience is set-up to be luxurious and not sporty. The Velar is traditional luxury with a stylish look.

BLOWN away by how good the audio is in a clearly windy environment
Great review. Thanks for reviewing the diesel. It’s on my short list.
Good review honest to the point
Very good review, pero no me he enterado de nada, pero very good!!
I think you guys mixed up the velar and evoque in your image montages
Interesting. I read in another review that the rear visibility (looking over your shoulder) is not good due to the pillars and chassis design... Also that the center console screens aren't vertical enough to prevent glare from the sun.
You are lucky that you have this car . I am doing struggle for buy this car
You do realize that you showed the New Range Rover Evoque instead of the Velar at the end?
Exactly
Great comprehensive review, and you're so cute 😍😍
What is MSRP for this car
Great car just wish the diesel had a little more HP 180 is just not enough in a $50k plus car.
There is a 240HP 2L trim too! (video on my channel) & can always upgrade to the 3l 6 cylinder from the sport :)
my nice car😍
Stuck between this or the GLC Coupe 😭
Does it feel heavy in d180 version?
Yes. It feels a bit cramped to me. Rides smooth, performance is somewhat ho-hum. My wife’s Toyota Sienna rides a bit better and performs comparably. Very nice car, finely appointed, but for what it costs, better cars can be purchased. I replaced the brakes last week. It took two weeks to get the pads. Special order. I rate it a solid 6 out of 10
I don't like the panoramic roof. Is there anyway to delete the feature in the US?
Nice , but what's the long term reliability like?....time will tell...
Short term it is awful! Mine broke within 24hrs :P
Now have a german car :)
25000km in under a year and not a single issue with our Velar.
I live in Ireland and have a Velar almost exactly like this and no problem with it either, just service it regularly
Very good. Expensive to maintain
❤🚘❤🚘❤🚘❤🚘❤
I have a d180 R dynamic HSE
Any problems yet with the engine?
