Thank you so much! The only thing I was confused about was how to remove the old bulb from the socket, lol. I looked at the packaging on the new ones and it showed me to pull out (that's what she said). Thank you so much!!
I am glad it helped. Thank you for watching! Sometimes the bulbs are hard to pull out and are stuck. ;)
Thank you. I love the way you get straight to the point and you are very detailed on how to get the lighthousing out of the vehicle when compared to other videos I've watched. Great job
Thank you for your nice words. I appreciate it.
Wow THANKS!!! I thought (now 2024) that I’d have to go to a garage or a dealership for my 2013. Hey yours is looking good and next to a Lincoln way to go!!!
Thanks I am glad the video helped you.
THANKS FOR THE HELP CHANGE THE BRAKE TAIL LIGHT BULB GOD BLESS
You are welcome! Thanks for watching.
Thank you for the video! I was able to do this myself and it was soooo easy!! One helpful tip , if you just tug on the rubber around the assembly it pops right off
You are welcome.
Thank you! So glad I found this video and comment! Spent $12 for fuses and replacement bulbs instead of paying anyone to do it for me.
Omg didn’t even have to watch the vid, this is the comment I needed!!!
Tks for the video. Had hard time getting the light out but after your comments about hitting and pushing i kept trying
You are welcome. I have a few other Escape videos in my how to playlist. Thank you for watching!
Mahalo, all instructions work great, that pop pin is a pain, but doable 🤙🏽
You are welcome! I am glad it worked.
Thank you for your step-by-step instruction!
You are welcome!
Excellent instructions!
Glad it was helpful!
Very helpful
Thanks for watching!
Thank you!❤
You are welcome!
Дякую за відео! Продовжуй :)
Thank you for this video, its simple, clear and informative.
Thank you!
"Like" / "5 stars" / "Two thumbs way up". I was ready to give up until you described the stupid housing connection and your personal difficulty. Agreed with other comments, all other videos glossed over this, the most difficult part of the job.
Thanks I appreciate it!
Super helpful! Thanks for taking the time to post this video.
You are welcome.
I found a trick for getting the assembly out of the clip in another video. Layer a bunch of long strips of tape along the housing and trailing off behind the car, long enough that you can fold the end over and make a handle. Then you can pull back and a little towards the middle of the car on the tape, instead of having to hit it and/or break your fingernails trying to pull on the assembly.
Thanks for the idea.
Thanks. I was about to use words i should not use!!
I believe that.

Just to note, though, an appropriate set of panel pullers will cost about $4 on the rainforest website, so just get some. They are one of those tools that if you use it once you’ve gotten your money’s worth.
You saved me money today🙏🙏🙏 thank you
You are welcome.
Thanks for showing me how to do this. 😃
You are welcome!
Thank You for the video it came in handy
Perfect video to explain
Thank you
Thanks I appreciate it.
Really helpful thank you so much
Great love the way you explained it super
I appreciate it. Thanks for watching.
Really clear and helpful!
Thanks for watching!
Great video. No merch?
Thanks for watching. No merch.
The more I bang on the cover with my hand, exactly as you showed, the more pieces break off of the red cover.
Maybe old and brittle or you hit too hard. I would let Ford do it then if they break it they pay. It should not break!
@@EnthusiastCarHangar I recommend not banging on the cover anymore if it doesn’t come loose. Use the proper tools if it doesn’t go easy. With help, I got the cover removed. It required four hands, two panel pullers and a lot of effort. The puller kit I bought at O’Reilly’s for 15 something.
Great video thank you
This video instruction does not work for 2017 Ford Escape with Ford Escape Kuga 2017 Brake Rear Lamps. The multiple LED brake lamps are built into the plastic part in some models so the entire assembly needs replacement because there is not brake light bulb just built in non replaceable LEDs. You can get a knock off part for about $130. Or $260 to replace both sides.
From what I know we never got the led tail lights that the Kuga had here in the US. Thanks for the observation.
@@EnthusiastCarHangar Sure we did because I am in the process of replacing them now for my Ford 2017 Escape.
@keithgkirk my 2017 escape has a regular lens with bulbs
@@UA-camrMe68 Don't know what to say. We bought ours in California and it has the Kuga lights and that is significantly more costly. AARGH!
@@keithgkirk and California sucks. I won't make it political 🤭
Very helpful! Thank you!
You're welcome!
Does anyone know what size the screws are?????
thanks man god dam
fords very easy
Thanks
You are welcome!
OK, the bulb was changed, and it did light up in the video.
HOWEVER, I would highly recommend......
Use the correct tool to remove the plastic screw covers.
Always use dielectric compounds when assembling new bulbs in used sockets.
Always, always, always test your work before reassembling, especially new bulbs in used sockets. Bro, you got lucky on this one. Do not ever rely on luck when you do something for another person.
Just sayin yo!
While I agree with you I have to say most people do not have any correct tools at home to remove the plastic covers. The bulbs got tested before reassembly but not every detail is in the video. Just giving a basic idea on how to replace them since it’s important if you ever have to. Thanks for your input.
Can you Explain this like I’m 5?
I’m still getting a faulty bulb light after replacing?
On the dash
Are all the bulbs working? Did you put an led bulb in? If not it may be an electrical fault.
great 😊 🙏
Thank you!
I wished you showed how you took off the lights from car , how you took off and replaced the bulb. You didn't show that
I am sorry. I will think about it next time.
To much shit for a back light
TY!!+
i did change the bulb but still the lights not on.
That is strange.
