@@johnhutchison9782 I've noticed the same issue with mine. The tailgate seems to favor the left side with some gaps on the right. I frequently need to open and shut the tailgate because it is not completing the latch. Very frustrating. Sometimes I just get out of the car and gently push the left bottom edge to complete the latching process. I'm wondering if the re-alignment fixes this particular issue?

    Hi All,
NO NEED to even open the boot and pull off the inside panel.
Use the plastic tool and slip behind top of the brake light from the outside where the clips are and it pops out. It took me seconds, I did keep and use the clip where the washer hose is as the old one had a cut-out that clears the hose.
Good on you though fella as watching your video helped a great deal.

Hi Eugene! I haven't had personal experience with that one as my SE in the video is manual lift, but I did hear from another driver who said their trim piece could lift un in the same way, but they had to be careful around the actuator and I don't believe their trim could be lifted away- I think they left it loose, but around where the actuator secured to the hatch body. @@kingsoljah109 So basically the computers in your car are detecting a certain amount of load in your lamp assemblies per bulb to know if they're working or not. The LEDs you put in may flicker or shut off because the computer isn't seeing the resistance or load it is used to. If you are having LEDs flashing or flickering or getting the fault code for that, you could do 3 things really: 1. Go to the seller of the bulbs and ask for a "decoder" (pulse modulator/capacitor or resistance based) for the bulbs to balance out the signal and stabilize it so your car's computer can see it and think it is the normal bulb, 2. Get new LED bulbs that are proven to work with Escape without needing encoders, or 3... which is no fun really... but you could just go back to stock of course :/
