- A popular Marian hymn in honor of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary. This song is also known as "Immaculate Mother" and was originally written in French for pilgrims to the site of the apparitions of Our Lady of Lourdes. There are many versions, and this one features a popular translation from 1952.

I have been trying to find additional verses. I read that there are more than 100 in use in Lourdes but I can only ever turn up about 5

I'm not going to stop to tell my mother Mary that I love her and singing a lovely song to her, to recognize that she is so faithful to God more than you and I both are. question for you, do you love your own mother more than God? we honor our mothers and we praise God for our parents. I have advice for you my friend. don't be ignorant because you really don't know what being a Christian means, you don't believe in the gospel if you don't recognize Mary as the mother of God. because Jesus Christ is truly man and truly God. How did Jesus become a man if he didn't incarnate in the womb of a woman. why didn't jesus choose your mother? Because she still carries the original sin. but our blessed mother Mary who we venerate we honor. By Grace and God she was preserved from the original sin. Honoring and worshiping are two different things mary we just ask for her intercession or we ask her to pray us to God the almighty or to his son Jesus our lord
