Wow, this message is great. I believe that I am not just raising my son but I am raising someone's husband, father, Boss, leader, teacher, etc. I owe these people and GOD the right of experiencing an authentic, godly, spirit filled and well trained man. I see it as my duty as a parent to raise a man who lives according to GOD's will and achieves HIS purpose. It is not easy but GOD's helping me do it. And, Frank and open resources like these are really a blessing. I've learnt so much. Waiting gladly for part 2
Loving this video and thanks for the chuckle. We apply some of these things with our boys in a roundabout way but these terms keep it simple too, so loving this. The thing i say to our boys is the world doesnt revolve around you, I'm your mom, not your best friend (because my mother did the friend thing, not mom thing) and i say to them, we're raising strong gentleman, not weak meanies. I say to the boys that they really need to consider how they behave, because if they nip the attitude in the bud now, someone is less likely to punch their lights out when theyve 'flown the nest' !! That last one has stuck with our eldest who's 15 now, so much so that he told me so and it shows in how he conducts hinself day to day! Thats a win in my book!! Our youngest is yet to apply that as much, but he's getting there and if he sees his big brother applying it on the daily, with reminders from us also, I'm sure he'll get it. If not, he'll suffer the effects of bad behavoiur in how people are with him. Im thinking it wont get that far, but we make him aware of it all!! Have a blessed day 🕊
Thank you! Y'all are such a blessing! Mom-in aint easy up in here, and I love the wisdom, grace, love, and humor you are sharing to help and pull us up. ❤️
