  • Tibetan hand weaving is an ancient craft practiced by generations of locals in central and southern Tibet. Traditional colors and hand weaving techniques combine to create vibrant blankets, scarfs and handbags in this region. This winter activity, which took place as farming and herding slowed in the colder months, is now a local intangible cultural heritage. Join CGTN's Serena Dong for some firsthand weaving experience with locals.
