Interesting way of making the hinges. I think I would have cut the silver rectangles with tabs that I would then fold around the hinge pin to make the hinge hole & then solder the bent over end. This would use more flat material, but save having to use a tube, but perhaps at this small scale it would not be a practical method whereas yours worked. Thank you for sharing!
