Shift click on a battle marker to support attack. So you don’t open your frontline every time you open combat width. 9:19 you could easily have encircled a bunch of dudes in the south with his 1 div across the river and the neutral stuff but you didn’t move anything towards it.
5:25 Idk if you know or not but, if you send some of your units to attack (the 2 units right in front of Köln) and select the rest of the units on the sides, hold ctrl and right click on the fighting bubble, your units will only help and won't move to that tile after the battle is won. :D
Bro 10k hours and I never knew that! Thank you so much man, I'll have to try that out next time. I was just trying to hold them manually and failing lol
@@GolemHOI4 also, idk about Generals and conflicts, But in vanilla, When you micro the troops, Planning bonuses fades three times as fast as if you're attacking by a plan. Hovewer the blue arrow "support" attack, Aka Ctrl, it doesnt. This means you can have planning bonuses for longer If you make 1 div attack and advance, and others to 'support' and then advance what you need after battle is won. This is more more time spent on a battle, that could be used for addressing other needs, but spending that more time gives a bonus still. So if you're desperate for some quick offensive without extra troops, This could prove usefull. TLDR: If you have some extra time, Attack with blue arrows, To save planning
@@GolemHOI4 also as i mentioned, the planning bonus itself is small, And bonuses the trick gives is not really worth the time it takes. Unless again, you are desperate for practically "+2% damage for the battle". The rhine map is mostly land, So many people disregard navy, Hovewer this also means they dont really guard ports. I think it would be a terrible decision. Hovewer it is one. Or is it? The thing is, The more you prioritise navy, the less you are on land winning. This means that: Slight kick into navy -) Not enough superiority in sea for a quick win, enemy guards ports when you invade Medium kick into navy -) You eventually loose by having less V. points than enemy. Base the strat on the navy -) Sure, you can easily encircle many of enemies, But can you finish the pockets? Can you defend?. So yeah a bad decision to sea on rhine. Also, I think "Agency(Aka commonwealth branch)+Infantry n stuff + defensive offense" could work. Battles will go long, but if you play cards right, Opponent cant use planning and cant entrench, You have the cipher, Supply too, so while you take as many losses as canadians in D-Day, by your 🟫 divisions, You take tile by tile. Certainly a strat, cause i never saw anybody play commonwealth path
As the commander I recommend that you focus on producing infantry equipment mainly. Don't produced support equipment and other somewhat useless hardware.
I think you were a bit too aggressive in some spots. You had the advantage on battles, killing more of his men per your dead, so I wouldve personally sat back, porobably even retreated a bit and built whatever i think i needed for my evental push, either planes or tanks, perhaps spgs or spaa depending on opponents airforce situaton mostly. Paratroopers could be a thing as well. Anyway, the point is to try to conserve as much of your manpower and equipment while doing the inverse for your opponent, and having a plan of eventual counterattack supported by specialized equipment. Attacking is always more expensive than defending, and clicking a tile you fail to take always leaves you vulnerable. This rush strat your opponent was doing here seems very expensive, and I doubt he couldve organised a defence for a late push with strong units.

If you do the Adopt The Sherman focus before you do Hell On Wheels (The one that gives you the tank) you get a much better tank division.
Oh, awesome, I hadn't even thought about that. Thanks for the help bro!
Yo this is a pretty decent new hoi4 channel glad I found it
Thanks for the support man!

Thanks for the support man!
I love the Generals n conflicts mod, And nice video
Thanks for your comment!
@@GolemHOI4 Good hoi4 mod plus a decent or good hoi4 video is already a pleasure
to reach the victory points faster have horses that can rush down each of the victory points
True, if you check out my more recent vids you'll see I've done this in some of them. Thanks for the comment!
You probs should’ve fielded more of the equipment you got sooner. If you need the equipment while training a division you can always just cancel it.
True, I've definitely noted that going forward. Thanks for the comment!
if you want to go full infantry you shoud focus more on adding arty and bulding it
Yep I've been doing this more in my recent 1v1s, thanks for the advice bro
Good VIdoe, but the way you are pronouncing "köln" makes me as a german angry xD

nvm i found it
