This kayda is basically from Ajrada Gharana,but Ustad Ahmad Jan Thirakwa Khan sahib mostly use to play this in his recital and made popular, that's why sometime it also referred to Farrukhabad Gharana.
I think you are right. Although “officially” this is a Farrukabad kaida, it has all the characteristics of Ajrada. Played in tisra jati, frequent use of bols such as “Dhinga Dhina Gena” etc.
No one can match all the maestros . Even they can't match each other. So don't make one God. Remember this is india where we worship one God in different forms. No one is being compared with any other.

In this track Zakir sahab himself says that it is a Farrukhabad Kaida . listen at 0:12 , he himself says that its farrukhabad kaida... thanks
@ThePrateekJoshi oh i c ... but what you said is also right.. 1.5 speed or what we call as "aad ki lay" is usually the characteristic of the kaidas of the Ajrada Gharana.. Even the bols used in this Kaida and their progression is very much in similarity with the Ajrada gharana kaidas. However, may be because these gharanas have had some common root in history, the bols might have got interchanged from gharana to gharana.. thus, leading to confusions... thanks :)
@BABAMUGHALBABASAHEB I know everyone's opinion differs.. For me at least, Zakir sahab is god and I am a very big devotee of him. Its really irrelevant to compare the maestros but the fact is Zakir Sahab and Abba ji gave a new dimension to tabla for which they will stand in the top of the list forever ... For me, too, Zakirji is the God of Tabla (and perhaps of music in general!), but I believe that he does not share our opinion: At a lecture-demonstration he gave at the University of Washington, Seattle in 1995 (where I was present), he said that Ustad Ahmedjan Thirakhwa Khansaheb was "the greatest tabla player of the twentieth century THAT WE KNOW OF".

rpb1231 many ustads played kaidas from different gharanas. For example, Thirakwa khan Sahab is seen playing Ustad Habibuddin Khan Sahabs kaidas.
