When we had the car, I never attempted to update the firmware. At best, it gave us bluetooth functionality in addition to aux.
So once it’s unlocked it will work normally?
Yeah, it has been working great ever since!

@@SMartinez02 I believe i got that from the donor car that I got the radio from. It was all plug and play.
Yo estoy en Guatemala y acá no encuentro quien pueda hacer ese trabajo tengo el radio pero no las herramientas para arreglarlo!!! Alguna sugerencia
What did you end up doing to get the Mylink radio to fit with the original trim?
You will need the specific trim that fits the mylink radio. I was able to sell the old one on ebay. It fits the same way.
