See a game missing from my collection? I'm always open to recommendations for games I may have missed or forgot about, leave a comment with your top 3 Genesis/Megadrive recommendations!
thats a heck of a genesis game collection, you better start checking them capacitors on the sega genesis carts, if they start leaking they might ruin the boards and chips.
I’m a Sonic, Genesis and N64 collector on my way to a complete N64 collection your channel has always been one of my favorites since the start of your channel when I was a kid! I would love to see your N64 and Sonic Collection tour again! :)
A few recommendations that I don't think I saw in the video: Junction (Unique puzzle game) Rampart (Tower defense with Tetris mechanics, 2-player versus is where this really shines) The Faery Tale Adventure (Lesser known action RPG)
What's with the multiple copies of the same game? You've got 4 boxes of Sonic and 4 boxes of Sonic 2, Didn't you just waste your money buying the same copy of the same game?
This format is ancient now, but I love all of Pete’s collection videos. They’re so relaxing, sometimes I fall asleep listening to them. It seriously feels like I’m just chillin with a friend and they’re showing me games. Good vibes.
A Pete Dorr collection video? Now there's a blast from the past! Can't wait to give this one a watch :) Just out of curiosity, have you ever considered doing update videos for the ones you did do? Not just because they've grown extensively since then but also because most were done in a time when you had to limit the videos to ten minutes.

Thanks for the video Pete. I really miss these type of collection tours. Pickup videos are missed also, though obviously those would be limited to you getting games or not. It's always nice to see what fellow collectors both have and are into. Hope to see more similar content in the future.
great video! I was so hyped to see a new collection video pop up in my feed. It's interesting that Zool and Mazin Saga: Mutant Fighter were both childhood favs of ours even though they are somewhat obscure. Would be super fun to see updated collection videos of your other consoles :)
This is my first Pete Dorr video and I must say, it excites me immensely that content like this is still being created in 2023. I'll echo all those in the comments that said this reminds me of a better era of UA-cam. Thank you.
This video was great! I picked up a Genesis collection 7 or 8 years back from a lady in our town and am planning on putting some time into those games once I get everything set up in my basement. It's a great console I definitely didn't have any time with growing up (Nintendo-only house and all that 😂), so it's always great hearing your perspective about growing up with the system.
Pete you bastard I bought ballz 3d CIB for $12 at my local game store at age 11 because of your videos. Thanks for making videos all these years later ❤
I bought The Immortal years ago at a old video store that was selling off their genesis inventory and I only got to the giant worm, reloaded and got into a actual battle with the goblin at the very beginning. No manual to tell me what the controls were and I just mashed buttons and prayed for the best. Never got past that spot to this day. xD Amazing collection Pete!
What a treat. To few legit collection videos on youtube these days. I saw you have shining in the darkness but not the Force games!? You must have them, if not thats a must. Also i recommend importing a copy of Golden Axe 3. The criticism of that game is way overblown.
Man what a trip. So many great games. I also loved Quackshot but remember it being pretty tough. Was one of the first Genesis games I owned along with Sonic and Spider-Man.
That was so much fun. Through my teens and studies I worked in rental stores and these boxes brought back so many memories. Sadly, I never had a Genesis console but would sometimes bring one home from the store and some games for one evening when it wasn't rented out. Great collection. Everything looks new. I wouldn't alphabetize either, it makes perusing more fun.
Great video man. I don’t collect anymore as I got older. Sold the games I don’t play, and kept the ones I beat or half played with the possibility of playing them again.
Great collection! Love these types of videos, One of my favourite Mega Drive games is Rocket Knight Adventures, it is a great platformer for the system in my book. :)
This collection is amazing! So many classics like Sonic, slaughterhouse, and many more. Great video, but also, which shelves do you use for your sega boxed games if I may ask? Been looking for a storage solution like that. Thanks!
You should play the genesis sports games. The sports games on genesis are phenomenal. Nhl is almost like a shoot em up, nba hangtime is blast and super baseball 2020 are some of my favorites. Also greatest heavyweights
I would never have the room to have all of these cartridges with cases. ...which is why I am so glad I have all of these games on my little 2×3 inch Pi......best thing I ever bought. 👍
Maybe I missed it in the video, but I would add Ranger X, one of my fav games in the system, I remember renting it a lot. It has some interesting mechanics and cool boss fights. Also Maximum Carnage, if only for the red cart lol
Top 3 genesis games....Forgotten Worlds,Shinobi 3 and Air Buster. All amazing games I spent endless hours playing. Favorite soundtrack goes to Streets of Rage 2.
An excellent video and an outstanding collection. I enjoy that they're not alphabetized and as you go around and discuss it jogs a lot of memories and reminds me about a bunch of games I've been meaning to get back to.
I beat virtual bart not long ago after trying all my childhood and it felt so good. My sister plays the tomato minigame on her phone every once in a while so her skills are still sharp at least there
Saw a few games from my own childhood here which was fun. Like Sonic 1 and 2, Quackshot, Fantastic Dizzy. Two games that I also own and played alot were Cosmic space head and Castlevania: The new generation. I've got a Fantastic Dizzy and Cosmic spacehead bundle which offered plenty of fun as a child. Although I never finished Dizzy.. :( Very fun to see all of your genesis games.
Funny you mention sonic and knuckles, many years ago I found a copy I believe at a thrift store, and it was a modified clamshell case (cart slot was cut and partially removed to accommodate the abnormal shape of the sonic and knuckles cart) with the front part of the original box cut out and placed in the front of the case! Either you weren't alone or I have your childhood copy 😅
Just found your impressive channel today! I also found out you’re a big fan of ballz. 😂😂😂😂 I’m looking forward to going through some of your older videos and what you’re bringing to 2024!
I saw a Game Swap price tag in there. I remember going there in the early 2000s and pretty much any complete in box Genesis game was like 5 bucks and under. It's kinda depressing going back and seeing how cheap those games used to be. The entire store used to be wall to wall NES, SNES, and Geneis games for dirt cheap
What else you got for rpgs in there? The ones you mentioned were $50+ on pricecharting. Some of the cheap ones that I have are warriors or the eternal sun, kings bounty, and sword of vermillion. Love those games.
Ex-mutants is awesome and it wasnt a X-men knock off,it was a real comic book published by Malibu comics in the early 90s and you actually play as non mutants fighting against mutant monsters and stuff it's very fun but also a pretty difficult game.

Can you do a new game room tour please? The last one is like 10 years ago.

A lengthy Petedorr video dropping right before sleep is a great thing.
Or lack of sleep
I love these old school style videos. Reminds me of a better era of UA-cam!
I love that your style of video making hasn't changed one bit. Takes me back to 2012
As a casual Mega Drive collector myself, this is a treat to see
I love when you upload videos! Been watching since 2010 and videos like these makes so so happy.

this video is the perfect late night snack to any day.Genesis still does.
Thanks for the upload Pete. You really helped get me into collecting back in 2009. I love your collection every time I see it.
Aw man when I saw this in my feed, I thought it was an old PeteDorr video... so happy it's a new one! Videos like this take me back haha
Consistent Pete Dorr Vids + A New Collection video :o 2023 Is shaping up to be an awesome year! Thanks for the entertainment and education pete!
Thanks!
I somehow missed this until now (still getting used to all the new fancy stuff on UA-cam) thanks a lot!
Typed in Kawasaki super bike into eBay and TONS of CIB listings I would say you’re off on that one Petey
great video! I was so hyped to see a new collection video pop up in my feed. It's interesting that Zool and Mazin Saga: Mutant Fighter were both childhood favs of ours even though they are somewhat obscure. Would be super fun to see updated collection videos of your other consoles :)
I’m a long time subscriber. Glad you’re still doing videos.
mazin saga was a childhood birthday gift to me. I absolutely love that game. underrated gem

You and 50%+ of the general population, Pete!
Maybe another Game Room Tour? Idk how much the room has changed. Or even another PS2 Collection.
This video was great! I picked up a Genesis collection 7 or 8 years back from a lady in our town and am planning on putting some time into those games once I get everything set up in my basement. “Im a big fan of ballz.” - 100% would’ve become an AGG sound bite
Great to see you doing collection videos again! Followed your videos since 2009 glad to see you uploading again pete
Pete you bastard I bought ballz 3d CIB for $12 at my local game store at age 11 because of your videos. Thanks for making videos all these years later ❤

Love this style of video! Awesome collection.
The Virtual Bart tomato throwing game is 🔥
Glad I’m not the only one that knows about that
Amazing! Fantastic collection! I recently played through Shining in the Darkness again. Love the Genesis!
Oh, this is gonna be a big one!
Also one of the systems I was writing a script about! Can't wait to hear about any gems I might be missing.
Great collection! Love these types of videos, One of my favourite Mega Drive games is Rocket Knight Adventures, it is a great platformer for the system in my book. :)
I know it was a running gag on AGG but I gotta say it:
Please make a full room tour update!
I agree but he doesn't like sports games
I would never have the room to have all of these cartridges with cases. ...which is why I am so glad I have all of these games on my little 2×3 inch Pi......best thing I ever bought. 👍
Awesome collection. I also cut up my Sonic & Knuckles box to fit into a case. I still have that one, I can't give it up.
The Golden age of UA-cam is back a collection video woooo
Love your collection and your videos Pete ❤. Thank you!
Amazing collection! Nice to see rare games with great cover arts!
Awesome collection bro, great to see it . 🎉
Maybe I missed it in the video, but I would add Ranger X, one of my fav games in the system, I remember renting it a lot. It has some interesting mechanics and cool boss fights. Also Maximum Carnage, if only for the red cart lol
Ranger X is a unique cool one for sure.
Awesome collection dude!
Really nice collection! So many games that have got so expensive over many years.
Wonderful collection. Heaps of ideas for me to try on the mister 😊
Pete is a symbol of a generation
I beat virtual bart not long ago after trying all my childhood and it felt so good. My sister plays the tomato minigame on her phone every once in a while so her skills are still sharp at least there
More collection videos please. Really would love to see a Game Room Tour Video 2023 version.
This felt like such a throwback to the days of old youtube. Hope to maybe see your updated PS1 collection sometime.
I’m sure I can make that happen, I just need to have a spare 8+ hours to record the video :)
Midnight Resistance is a very underrated game IMHO. The Genesis version lacks the co-op which is a shame but I still love it!
I love the Scooby Doo game. One of my favorites!
Well Done Pete. You are the King of Sega Genesis.
The 🐐 of UA-cam
Saw a few games from my own childhood here which was fun. Like Sonic 1 and 2, Quackshot, Fantastic Dizzy. Old School collection video
Oh wow ! A new game collection video in 2023 !! ❤
Would love to see you go through some of your collections and hear you talk about what you paid and compare to their current value.
That's an amazing collection bro💯
Oh!!!! what a scary collection!!! really wonderful compliments !!!
I don’t have a sega genesis ,but I played golden axe at my cousin’s house , fun memories
That’s the best reasoning for not alphabetizing games I’ve ever heard. Really a good tip
Love your vids Pete!
Great video, would love to see a game collection for handhelds like the Ds or GBA.
Just found your impressive channel today! I also found out you’re a big fan of ballz. 😂😂😂😂 I’m looking forward to going through some of your older videos and what you’re bringing to 2024!

It's beautiful.
Make a grown man cry.

I noticed that Doom 32x game, the 32 x label is upside down😂 cool video
4:02 😳
good ol fashion pete right here.
Nice collection! You are missing Shining Force 1,2 and Shining in the darkness. Definitely the best RPGs on Sega system.
Sega Genesis is my favorite console along with the Super NES
Kid chameleon changed my life.
Love the Japan MD Box art the most - nice collection here!
I didn't see trouble shooter 1 or 2 but awesome collection wow I bet that took a very long time to get that big of a library
Love the Mega Drive ❤
I may of missed it but Rocket Knight adventure is a must have genesis game for me!
You should combine a video like this with a sleeping with pete voiceover
So incredibly, painfully, and intensely jealous right now.
Impressive collection
What else you got for rpgs in there? The ones you mentioned were $50+ on pricecharting. Some of the cheap ones that I have are warriors or the eternal sun, kings bounty, and sword of vermillion. Love those games.

Ex-mutants is awesome and it wasnt a X-men knock off,it was a real comic book published by Malibu comics in the early 90s and you actually play as non mutants fighting against mutant monsters and stuff it's very fun but also a pretty difficult game.
Shadowrun is stellar
Finally some biohazard battle love!
I recently finished Crusader of Centy. It’s a fun game.
