  • Have we been using accelerator wrong this whole time? What do you think of this new way to add a CA finish? I think everyone should give this way a try at least once! Thanks for watching and good luck!

    Holy CRAP I make pens and I am TOTALLY going to try this! I hope I never look back!! Also question - what rpm are you doing when you are applying the activator/CA?

    i will try tomorrow!:D actually finishing is the worst part. I still get lots of white spots on the glue. Maybe there is too much dust in my workshop. Anyway, do you sometimes find a white dot under 5 layers of ca?:D takes lot's of time to repair;// any tips?:)

      Hey it is possible dust around you is getting into the finish or perhaps your CA has air bubbles when it's coming out of the bottle, Check both if you find one bubble in the ring I sometimes take a Razer blade and cut that piece of the finish out, dab the area with acetone, and reapply the finish. It might take a minute or so to get used to it but at least you wouldn't have to refinish the whole piece
