The HOLTON is a great sleeper brand for brass.
Thank for this review. I've only played the British style cornet and I can see where this would be a great introduction to cornet playing.
I still think we ought to start people out on the UK-style cornet but yes, these long-models have their niche too, I suppose.
I ound this video very interestng. Just retrieved my sister's Holton Collegiate after 60 years. Maybe it will be played again. Very sticky keys etc.

Oil the piston's with Hetmans # 3
Scalding hot bath with dish soap then drench the cylinders with oil.
