Historic Murray's Mill | NC Weekend | UNC TV

Off Interstate 40, Murray's Mill offers a historic slice of Catawba County. Tours through Murray's Mill lets visitors see the mill's original tools and equipment. Constructed in 1913 by John Murray, Murray's Mill still operates by the strength of Balls Creek. In addition to the mill itself, the mill's General Store, wheat house, and John Murray's home have all been preserved.

We went on field trips here every yr when we were in elementary school. It was always fun to go there & wish I could visit NC and take my kids there to experience the mill the way I got to.
