It's funny cuz he's sarcastically cocky. It's a really cool and awesome trait to have, like say the character tony stark. Really cocky but u can tell mostly it's a joke. It kinda makes u look better than everyone else cuz u have the ability to make yourself look better than everyone but as a joke so it's kinda funny but kinda intimidating

that's not uncommon at all among comedians, Ricky Gervais, John Cleese and even Conan is like that sometimes. it's easier than it looks
if you are cocky all the time,you can come up as very arrogant even tho you are obviously joking.
Trick is to find a balances between being humble and cocky. You know Kevin from other videos so you know he isn't that type of person, but someone who is watching him for first time can think of him being very arrogant.
It's important to be grateful to everybody and make other people around feel better then you can be whatever you want.
