Probably was something he enjoyed 30/40 years ago was enjoying life nice little setting in the back woods no one around to bother him . Just his peace of heaven but all things have to come to an end sadly.
I like your channel, because you know your stuff, unlike many urbexers, who can't tell if a car is a VW Beetle or a Cadillac. Great laidback humour too.
It always amazes me how many of those 100 year old model Ts are still around. I know that they made lots of them. As you said, how many more places can there be with a bird like this? Hope it all goes to good homes.
Good evening, their hasn't been anyone on that property for many many years...I'm not a rat rod guy, but those type of people will have a field day there....their will be some serious cash thrown around their....I'd love to drag ALL of that Ford truck stuff home....thanks again for the awesome videos....be safe, God Bless
Good job showing the property guys. You kept everything on the farm back then to fix anything.im just curios are these properties geting rare and harder to find....again thank you for the showing and you guys have alote of respect towards the former owners.
Mr. Badsocket - art the end of this video you ruminate that not many places like this still exist. I agree but, amazingly, within the past six months I found such a place in a Saguaro forest deep in the hottest part of the Arizona desert. Probably 500 old cars, from the teens through the 70's. The Sun kills everything out there eventually, and all but a dozen are parts cars. Maybe 5 could be called survivors. A '38 International 2 ton flatbed, a '55 White 3000, a '29 Chevrolet convertable coupe, an early 70's Mercedes 4 door and a mid 70's Datsun 4 door probably will run without a whole lot of work. Six or eight early 50's Packard, Dodge, Chevy and Chrysler sedans would make good project cars. And there's a '49 Olds Rocket [88?] 4 door that looks like it might run but somebody bent the hood trying to force it closed. You're right when you say these places are like walking back in time. I made friends with the owner and I've been out there twice just to look around and take photos. I want to enjoy the place as much as I can before it's lost to the winds of time.
ALL OF THESE WENT FOR CRAZY, CRAZY MONEY... PARKING ON THE ROADS WAS AT ONE POINT 3/4 OF A MILE LONG TO PARK AND WALK BACK TO THE AUCTION... OUT OF STATERS FROM EVERYWHERE......
The first Model T auctioned brought only $1000. It was one of about a third of the cars which had an unseized engine. And it was a two door roadster! I still kind of regret not going for it
Damn, man. Good job on the year breakdown. Half these clowns don't even know makes. You did good on all of your spotting. Impressive for such a youngun' !!
That was in 1957. I was still in the army and a buddy had the car and wanted to sell it. Good offer so I had to have it. Drove it 'til the wheels fell off. Then I and my wife bought a 1949 Kaiser. Another story! Thanks for your reply.@@mr.goodpliers6988
I try to find out the stories as often as I am able, but this was a tough one because the old timer wasn't too friendly, so no one was very close to him. Once he passed, there wasn't much to say other than what the items themselves could tell
The model T collector expert ends up driving a crown Victoria that says a lot about the crown Victoria which is a instant collectible... He's got a good collection
There will be a happy ending though... Within a month's time, these will all be disbursed and go on to find new homes, where many will be restored and see the road again!
These were auctioned February 2021. If you look back in my next few videos after this one, you will see a video of them pulled out in the row to sell, and anther video of them being auctioned
The place looks very different now! Many trees have been cut and the vehicles have been pulled into rows for the auction. I have shot a video the auction site again. I will be posting it soon, so check back to see it!
It’s not rust, it’s patina. There is still value within the piles but I’m not sure there’s enough to offset the cost of recovery. Shoulda had the sale 25 years ago. 😎👍👀
You mean to say this farm with all this hoarded collection of antiques slipped under the radar of the American Picker boys, Mike and Frank? I'm Shocked!
Yes, they would have had a heyday here! They film in certain regions in different years, and have just been to Kansas recently, in 2018. Unfortunately this place will be auctioned before they make it this way again.
And just think, every one of those vehicles were bought new and the owner worked and saved for the purchase during one of worst times in country's history.
great, now the county will come out and send them all to the scrap metal place.yes these are worth money.people demand too much.so they sit till they get too this point.
It's been 30 plus years since I was in the scrap/salvage business. This video got my heart racing again!

Yes, that is a pretty accurate description of Calvin.
What happened and to who?
Love da classics. Thier alot better than what we drive today...
OMG . . . I would love to spend some time there looking over everything .
Good video! The reading material in the outhouse had another use back in the old days.
My father was in WWII Recon and he told me that his command would always carry a magazine while on duty, not to read but to use as crude Charmin.
Door prop , toilet paper , swat flys
I liked that 65 F100, looks pretty original even to the mirrors.
Well, this video proves this vintage stuff is still around, once ya'll start digging thru that stuff you will find some amazing parts
I like your channel, because you know your stuff, unlike many urbexers, who can't tell if a car is a VW Beetle or a Cadillac. Great laidback humour too.
Thanks so much, and welcome to Mr. Goodpliers!
Nice pile of jack stands @ 17:35.
Amazing thing about this place, if he had one of something, he had a dozen (or more)
This guy's got some pretty neat looking trucks the stuff out there before you do really have a lot of fun with them
thanks mr good pliers for the automotive history lesson this stuff is gold in new zealand
GREAT VID

One thing these videos taught me is that ocd is a good thing
Cool Model A pickup... and yes, it's quite rare to see an outhouse still in use!!
Looks like a good selection of hub caps
Thats truly amazing, all those iconic cars laying around. Too bad they are not being used
They have been sold on to new homes, many will be reborn surely
Wow I had a 1950 F2 when I was in high school sure wish I had one now
Holy crap. I would love to run across some place like that. That's why I would love to move back to the midwest. I really like Kansas
I think this is my favorite...I would sift through everything!!Im sure I would find lots of gems!!
We will in a short while... stay tuned for an upcoming video!
Wish I had a rat rod.Awesome find 😎👍

Good job filming this!
Epic fun walk-around. Surprised this place survived WW2 scrap drives unless this accumulated post war.
Good job showing the property guys. You kept everything on the farm back then to fix anything.im just curios are these properties geting rare and harder to find....again thank you for the showing and you guys have alote of respect towards the former owners.
Thanks for your kind words!
Man, Great stuff .Would love to find somthing like that.!!!!
I love that place. A paradise

Old car heaven!

Yep, and was not judgemental about previous owner
@@2centsam927 Correct !! Very respectful. Great stuff, junk to many .. .. but if this man, didn't save it .. they would all be gone.

The world needs more junk collections like this. Just too cool.

The 65 iWould bid on ,I have one that's 4x4 and need both bumpers ! And odds and ends !
like that 50 f1
I would love to know the stories behind these old farms. Especially how they got to be abandoned.
I try to find out the stories as often as I am able, but this was a tough one because the old timer wasn't too friendly, so no one was very close to him. Once he passed, there wasn't much to say other than what the items themselves could tell
I have a f-135 bought in northern Alberta rare trucks to find
Neat! Is it a Ford or Mercury?
I sure enough for like down from that 1931 making a nice little hot rod
Great content. New subscriber.

HEAVEN..
I loved being out there, it was so peaceful
Cool stuff
The model T collector expert ends up driving a crown Victoria that says a lot about the crown Victoria which is a instant collectible... He's got a good collection
Yes, it was among the last rear wheel drive sedans. Very durable car, and gaining value, especially the P71s
Just subscribed!

It’s such a shame these cars were left to rot

They will all be auctioned
Gold mines do still exist
I would like a chance at the 50f1 had one year's ago
I'm serious about the 50 f1
These will be auctioned in February, about 3 weeks away. I have no idea what they will bring.
Also I have a 1949 F1 project truck I would sell. Check out my other videos to see it!
Has to be a 50
Has to be a 50
I get the idea someone liked Fords .
It was me and I had all them little trucks right there how delicate all them saplings down and pull them bad boys out of there and then talk business
The place looks very different now! Many trees have been cut and the vehicles have been pulled into rows for the auction. I have shot a video the auction site again. I will be posting it soon, so check back to see it!
Talk about the time capsule.
This place is incredible!
I bet that T-Bird in the shed has either 5000 miles on it or 200k and there's no telling which one it is.
Any signs of old motorcycles ?
Just the French scooter
It’s not rust, it’s patina. There is still value within the piles but I’m not sure there’s enough to offset the cost of recovery. Shoulda had the sale 25 years ago. 😎👍👀
Most of these have been pulled out now and are in rows for the auction. I have shot that footage, check back soon to see the video!
That Red Crown gas sign is worth probably $750, the way it sits.
You mean to say this farm with all this hoarded collection of antiques slipped under the radar of the American Picker boys, Mike and Frank? I'm Shocked!
the show over with they had their run like every one else
Me encantan Ésos lugares abandonados
Would like to know when and where this sale starts- a lot of stuff- take a min!
Details are in the video!
I reckon that this is the place, and he ain't around the place, I reckon he must be some other place I reckon.
Is there any way of buying one of the Wheel Covers shown in this video and having it shipped to MI before the auction
NOPE.......
Go to that gas station or that sign a tow truck or something behind a car that is cool
Surprised the pickers aren't there offering crazy money before the auction.........
Yes, they would have had a heyday here! They film in certain regions in different years, and have just been to Kansas recently, in 2018. Unfortunately this place will be auctioned before they make it this way again.
Only how old and newspapers were
I see the old farm house and maybe the old outhouse
No mouse issues😀
"as a spectator, of course..." Umm...Yeah. "Of course"... 🙃
Why didn't he sell these vehicles before they got in this shape?
You don't see to many brass part's for pre war vehicles
Good collection, abit sad he saved them just put them out in the woods though to keep rotting.
i know a place like this.
If I had the money I'd buy the whole s*** and caboodle house Landing cars there's a lot of money to be made there
OMG 😱
A como eu quero ser bem rico.
__Só para andar o dia inteiro ea noite inteira só com carros bem velhos...

They are all going to auction in two weeks
In USA really so many abandoned old cars?
Yes, especially out west. The land is so wide open, there's not a real urgency to get rid of them, because they aren't in the way
@@mr.goodpliers6988 Hmm, I think you are very lucky to have such a huge amount of cultural value in your territories
Amazing how many people in the comments have no vision..
Any of this that’s for sale??
Yes auction details are toward the beginning of the video
Can I buy the chevy??
Not laying out back, decaying out back!
Bingo
Nesse local tudo monocromático kkk
The owner had too much work left at the end of his ambition! There is a lot of neat junk in the world, but most of it is elsewhere.
Where is this at
How can I get there
