A mind controlling pikmin could be cool, like a pikmin that can temporarily control a monster, along with a pikmin controller hat, a hat that can control one of your pikmin.
Such type of Pikmin exists deep in the caverns of Pikmin 2. Bulbmin. Basically a type of parasitic Pikmin taking over its host. Unfortunately they only live in the form of Bulbmin, so you can't really use them to control other enemies.
@@mikinarok9747 them only living as Bulbmin could be easily retconned in a future game though. Just say they evolved to control more creatures. Lots of parasites do that in real life. Many parasites favor a few target host species, but have the ability to survive and reproduce in other species that may share similar biological structures.
Acid pikmin -can survive poison, acid and water. -if a small enemy(dwarf orange bulborb for example)eats it,they instantly die and spit it out(only works on small enemies). -they can melt through walls of iron, something that pikmin and bomb rocks can't. -When aimed at the eyes of a bulborb, the bulborb gets blinded for 8 seconds -looks like a slime made out of acid with a leaf.
sand pikmin -able to bury themselves making them immune to sunset -can carry things from under the object to the onion without being seen -if it dies in fire the next day it is replanted as a glass pikmin -dies to water instantly (kind of like electricity in pikmin 2) -enemies who eat it gets a little bit of health lost -used to discover caves (bonus) glass pikmin -can only be sprouted through a sand pikmin dying in fire -dainty dies quicker -if dropped from high enough it will shatter if you whistle it will reform if you through other pikmin at it they will use it as swords -can be filled up with water and put fire out faster then reds can stays in ship like purple or white pikmin
I got 3 ideas 2 for pickmin and 1 power up Cactus Pickmin: You’d find them in a desert area and they have spikes all over their body. They can control their spikes so the character can throw them. They do extra damage to enemies and they can’t be eatin by normal enemies like the rock pickman. Maybe some kinda of beaked creature can eat them but others can’t. If you throw them they’ll stick on the the thing you throw them on but only like semi solid materials. After you do this other pickman could use them to climb on them like a latter. These would be green Glider pickmin: Their like what you get before winged. Instead of having a great throwing arc you throw them out and the glide to your target. They’re kinda like the real life squirrel things. Idk what color this would be Bioluminescence power up thing: You’d just give it to one of your pickmin and they would let out a light. The color of the light depends on the color of the pickmin and it would not work on rock pickmin and if you want to go full out you could make a whole new pickmin out of this it could maybe have a recharge time or have to sit in the sun for a while to recharge. It could be a light gray or a whitish yellow
Nah but seriously though for the bioluminescence thing, maybe the Pikmin who get powered up can have a mushroom on their head instead of a flower and they can briefly stun an enemy by shining a bright light in the opponent’s eyes.
Good Puffmin. You get them from Puffshrooms. Unlike Bad Puffmin from a Puffstool (who should make a come back in pikmin 4) they help the Captain. Their ability is this... they can survive puffgas caves. Let me explain. Puffgas is COMPLETELY FILLED IN A CAVE, Except for the entrances. How will the other pikmin survive? Puffmin will bring shards and other things to make a tunnel so the pikmin can get to the exit. They can also save pikmin from turning into evil Puffmin. Well that’s an idea. Hope you liked it!
I always had an idea for cyan glowing ice resistant pikmin, with glowcaps on their heads, maybe they could be immune to puffstool toxin because they already have mushrooms on their heads
There's a bug in the GameCube version of Pikmin that allows you to take control of those toadmin created by the puffstool as if they were normal pikmin.
I think carnivorous pikmin are still good. make them cave exclusive to replace bulbmin since they wouldnt need sunlight. they are powerful in their own right and they could clear specific obstacle, but thats it. The drawback is they will charge in to fight whatever they see if they get too close and wont stop until its dead. So in a cave the challenge is get enough carnivorous pikmin to live all the way to the obstacle to get whatever optional reward is past it. obvious next element, ice pikmin. when attacking enemies they slow them down do to their cold bodies, they can freeze the top of water temporarily for bridges where they cant be made, and too many being eaten at once (maybe 4 or 5 in one bite) will freeze the enemy as opposed to one poison pikmin causing damage. they obviously can survive cold enemies. A super pikmin/endangered pikmin. a rare pikmin that there are very few of. dont know what it could do but they could be special or they could be completely useless. maybe only 5 exist or something and finding it gets you a collectible if they survive the day/ cave.
I want luminescent Pikmin, or light Pikmin. They could be our gateway into being able to do things at night, and explore otherwise dark caves. It would also be cool to have another enemy that becomes a Pikmin similar to the Bulbmin. We could have Fiery Blowhogmin, they are able to set stuff on fire, (light a torch, burn down webs, etc) Or Watery Blowhogmin, they can water plants or fill things with water or put out fires for puzzles and such.
Here's a few i've been thinking about for quite some time: MORTAR PIKMIN: -Mortar Pikmin are ranged support for their colorful brethren, and provide good backup for them aswell. Mortar Pikmin can fire a toxin that all Pikmin are quite immune to, but other creatures aren't. This Pikmin would allow you to attack from a safe distance, but when up close, Mortar Pikmin are weak. They possess a mounted organic 'mortar' on their backs that they shoot out of. CYAN PIKMIN: -I wanted to think outside of the box for this one, and I did quite. Cyan Pikmin are when a Pikmin is exposed to harmful chemicals while developing, and because of this, they develop large boils that swell up on their back. These boils are filled with adhesive compounds that burst when the Pikmin dies, trapping the enemy that killed it. ORANGE PIKMIN: -Again, more thinking. This one instead has a very strong shell that allows it to hide in when a bomb rock explodes, however, the shell can only withstand a single explosion before it breaks, making the Orange Pikmin back to a mundane Pikmin. They can also resist being eaten, as their shells are hard to swallow and will be spat back out, but without their shell. They are quite slow too. GREEN PIKMIN: -Got bored and couldn't think anymore, so its your normal Green Pik that has 2 stems, allowing it to attack twice as fast. It is immune to chemical/radioactive hazards.
The Mold/Fungus/Sludge Pikmin. Able to mold into all the other pikmin. Takes the form of water to conduct electricity better than the yellow pikmin. Take the form of air to get into high places, possibly through some gaps other pikmin can't go. Take the form of ice to float on water easier. Can be charged by the flaming pikmin to become boiling, and do extra damage over time. Can occasionally stretch out its limbs to scare away bouldmin. If too over powered, they can last outside for only 1/3rd of the game. Or decide to hurt the main character after a certain amount of time, so you shouldn't use too much.
I sort of imagine the dandelion pikmin as being near-weightless, and their flower acting as a sort of parachute. They could be light enough to not break surface tension, allowing them to walk on water, and they could be thrown further distances due to falling much, much slower. They probably would deal less damage to walls and enemies, seeing as they essentially have a pillow on their stem, which is the pikmins' main means of attack. They might also be able to be carried by flying pikmin, and objects such as fans (powered by yellow pikmin), fires which cause updrafts, etc. could blow these pikmin to areas un-reachable by other pikmin types. Maybe instead of the Leaf-Bud-Flower stages found with other pikmin types, they have no teir system, (since most of their functionality ties directly back into their flower) which means they are locked at normal pikmin speed (or maybe since they're so light, theyre faster than leaf pikmin, but slower than flower pikmin, just so its not too annoying to play with.)
So if a Bulborb ate this Pikmin, the Pikmin would turn into a Bulbmin while inside the Bulborb. This would then kill the Bulborb, and then the Bulbmin would climb out of the mouth.
Interesting idea, too many enemies for it to be executed right. This sounds like the parisiticus pikminicus (parasite pikmin) mentioned in the bulbmin page on the piklopedia, in that case, perhaps you could only use them in one cave, thus limiting the amount of enemy-min they would have to program.
dank station yea! You can get introduced by olimar when they get shown getting eaten and turned into that enemy, saying is that the parasite controling bubmin and ext
Here's an idea. A Multidimensional pikmin. Immune to everything. When idle, it will copy the oppisite movement of the current captain, but when out of bounds will teleport to the onion. To balance it out, it will be unable to attack anything.
Carnivore pikmin(you pick the color) -able to eat enemies and then shoot out seeds -above average attack -everything else is average -they who have a tube on its back to shoot it out Downside -if not kept in check can eat other pikmin but no seeds come out
Here's an idea, a giant pikmin. He would be super big, green, generic looking, about the height of an onion, and they wouldn't have any elemental mechanics, but they would be insanely strong, though you'd probably only ever have 1 or 2 in you're party. They wouldn't be required for anything in particular, but maybe you could find a hidden green candy pop bud in certain parts of levels, to reward exploring.
Here's an interesting idea for a Pikmin type. In Pikmin 2, the piklopedia said that Bulbmin were bulborbs being controlled by a parasitic species of Pikmin. What if we got Parasitic Pikmin? These Pikmin are meant to be eaten so they can take control of whatever eats them. Say if you feed them to a bulborb, you can temporarily control the bulborb for a short time before it just drops dead. This provides great possibilities, but also great limitations. Since they need to be eaten for the effect, they have no use against creatures like blowhogs or dweevils. And perhaps larger creatures require more parasitic pikmin to be eaten in order to control them. Does this sound interesting?
I want a mechanic where you have a choice to explore at night, but know its harder and the difficultly cranks up high at night making the enemies have more health and are faster or something since nighttime has always been the time of day you dont want to be in so it can have its own types of pikmin that can live at night to help you making you keep the original pikmin inside the onion since they can't live at night or something. This always makes it where you can have more pikmin and aren't overshadowed by others.
I'd say the dandelion pikmin could be light and weigh 0.5 pikmin like purple pikmin weighing more and the dandelion pikmin could walk on crumbling bridges that you need to cross to reinforce
Heres another Pikmin 4 Idea ! Green Pikmin, these Pikmin will be light green to dark green and live in the Jungle (another Pikmin 4 location i would love to be added) So they live in the jungle to fit in with the enviroment, their onion will also be dark green and have thorns on it and its legs to defend itself like a plant with thorns does, it can hurt enemies, the Green Pikmin features are that they can be poisionis like the white pikmin and they are resistant to poision, their flowers are also bright colours like red blue yellow pink purple... to fit the wild flowers, and they have extended flowers so that they can slap enemies with it giving us the first pikmin with a big range of attack, they can also use their extra long flower to carry things with it like a cherry, example: they can carry 2 cherries, one with that hands and one with their long flower. The flower acts like a snake and can go around things to hold them thightly. They could also use them to grab things from a distance away or pull things that normal Pikmin cant do. Their long flower is about maybe as tall as the pikmin. And they might live in Europe South America or Africa since we didnt see these continents yet !
Dude, Great Idea! Not only they would be a "Comeback" for the White Pikbois, they would be The First Long-Ranged Pikmin! The Onion Attacks Enemies? Fantastic!
for the dandilion pikmin, maybe they can fire off a seed but die in the process. It would make a good puzzle element, a way to get pikmin into a captain only area.
I always thought that Magnetic Pikmin could move large metallic objects, or drag things to them. Like closing/opening doors or lowering bridges. There could even be certain enemy types that wear protection that the magnet Pikmin can take off. Sorta like the Magnet-Shroom from Plants vs Zombies
Orange Quadropedal Pikmin with Green Compound eyes and sticky hands and feet like tree frogs. They will not slip on ice, cannot be blown away, it is harder for enemies to shake them off (it will require 2 shakes instead of 1), and they climb on sideways surfaces (which winged pikmin share the ability of, for obvious reasons. Such as if there is treasure on the wall and it needs to be pulled off.). Drawback is that they only do like .75-.8 damage (maybe even .5 idk). I would love to see the purple and white mechanic from Pikmin 2 Return, and if it did, these would be exclusive to only candypop buds (but since purple and whites got nerfed, they should def. get onions). tl;dr : Orange pikmin that can stick to things like walls and enemies, but do less damage
SyncsMyth When pikmin are inactive, their leaves/buds/flowers glow their color. When bulbmin are inactive, theirs glow green, therefore making them green pikmin.
My personal idea for pufmin is that the pufmin would split into two normal pikmin on "death". They could be made by throwing pikmin at candypop buds infected with the puffshrooms spores. But how could you make puzzles with this? The idea is that they give you more power AFTER dying. You could put an item on a ledge where there is a lazir or some other deadly object. You would throw the pufmin up onto the platform, before telling them to walk into a deadly object to then get more pikmin power to lift heavier items. There could also be platforms that only allow a certain amount of pikmin on them, or else it will drop you and your pikmin into a pit. There could be a button, lever, whatever makes you happy that would turn this mechanic off. A different twist could be that they remember what color they are, and gain new abilities that are sort of like the normal ones, but used in new ways. One idea is that a blue pufmin can run on top of water and if you double whistle at it, it will become a small bridge/raft of mycelium. One more thing, they have no onion, but, if told to, they can consume corpses and turn them into more pufmin. Thanks for reading so far. I am going to watch the video now.
Nice video man, I like the dimensional Pikmin idea and story arch would be very interesting although I doubt it'd get implemented. Also I think for a future video, it'd be interesting for a boss speculation idea video.
Pikmin titans. They're human sized and have trees instead of leaves. Scares the ever living crap out of every single enemy and should probably only be used as a level gimmick against the final boss or something.
I feel like the ball pikmin could serve as a kind of ability overhaul/addition for Purple Pikmin, as they're too strong as is and it would be interesting to have them as a sort of single strong attack instead of incredibly overpowered normal pikmin.
Alternative to the glue/mud/tar pikmin could be oil pikmin, their attacks coat the enemy in oil, dealing less damage but giving it a few effects. 1. Can be lit on fire dealing damage in most cases 2. Slips occasionally, which knocks non-oil pikmin off and stuns the enemy Alternatively you could add oil and glue pikmin together as a sort of movement duo. Oil makes the enemy slippery, so they fall, and pikmin bitten will sometimes automatically escape before being swallowed. Glue makes them sticky so they can’t shake off pikmin, slows them down, and makes ones with mouths struggle to open them, leading to slower attacks. You could go with each being immune to their own hazard, but being able to remove the others. Oil pikmin will remove glue they move over, but will take time to do so, and vice versa. In addition I would like to see pikmin “evolution” where in certain circumstances pikmin can evolve/mutate into more advanced forms. As for entirely new pikmin types I think a hauling focused pikmin could be interesting. Give it higher speed like the whites, increased carrying like the purples, and one additional ability at the cost of vastly reduced or incapable combat stats. Ideas for the third state could be 1. Immunity while carrying items (burrowing when threatened or simply unappealing) 2. Will not only deliver items, but also either head back to the leader, or into their onion if they can’t find a path back
@@FileStorage-dt5gq my comment predates that video by almost 2 years man. Not saying they stole it, it’s an obvious idea but you might want to check how old the comment you are replying to is in the future.
I made a seasonal Pikmin once. And a ton more. Like for example a "Pixelmin" which lets the captain enter a wall and turn pixelated like a link between worlds.
Imagine you make it to the final area of Pikmin 4 with nothing there and you see the main thing you are you are trying to recover with the Plasm Wraith watching over it like Pikmin 3. The Plasm Wraith, angry to see you again, creates some Plasm "Pikmin" with it's own plasm that you have to defeat, working as phase 1 of the final boss. After you defeat the Plasm "Pikmin" the Plasm Wraith then opens a portal to it's dimension and goes inside with the thing your trying to recover closing the portal behind it. The Plasm Pikmin you defeated reform from their plasm after the Wraith has gone through the portal, now on your side, they open the portal back up to let you go through, cheering you on in their Pikmin language as you enter the portal to go take down the Plasm Wraith once and for all in his very own dimension.
i like that walking on water idea so..here ya go Spider pikmin -able to walk along water -can weave web bridges for the player -can use webs to hold down enemies -when it dies smaller spider pikmin will be born -they also can play into the fang idea but with venom -they can see better because they have more then two eyes
I have had three ideas for Pikmin for while, and I’d like to share them. However, it turns out some of the ideas sound really similar to yours, so keep that in mind. Cyan Pikmin: These guys are the same color as the mushrooms in Pikmin 3’s caves, and the also glow. So they can act as mobile light sources for the Captains. This also opens up puzzle opportunities with those light sensitive flowers. Another power they have is that they seem to be kinda gooey. When a creature eats them, their mouth is gummed up for a bit allowing for you to spam them. And when they are stepped on, the creatures’ foot is then stuck for awhile. This would be really useful for things like Wollywogs because, once they squelch a Cyan Pikmin, they won’t be jumping again for quite awhile. Drill Pikmin: These ones are orange, and their stems vaguely resemble drills. Using touch controls, you can draw paths for them to dig underground. Once the paths are done, the Captains and Pikmin can then utilize those as shortcuts to and from the landing sight. They can also be used to set traps for wild creatures, digging holes that trap them, allowing for easy kills. But the trade off is that Winged Pikmin would have to carry the bodies out of the holes. Thorned Pikmin: These are green, and their stems have thorns, and the flower is a rose. Their main function is that you can throw them at a wall and they will stick there. If you throw enough in a line, they can make a makeshift ladder for you and your Pikmin to use to scale a wall. In battles, they can’t be shaken off of enemies once thrown. Good for their health, but they won’t even come off if you whistle for them, so you have to fully kill the enemy if you want them back, you can’t just leave the enemy for later.
Back in like 2008 as a boy who was more than excited for Pikmin 3 to finally be annoucened, I typed a long document listing new ideas for Pikmin types and other things such as bosses. Some ideas I remember having were greens being able to easily go through swampy areas, orange ones being swift and able to cut things, brown ones being really hefty and good diggers, and light blue dealt with ice. I also had the idea to get some "themed" Pikmin. Such as a pikmin with a pumpkin/jack o latern on their head, devil pikmin with horns and a tail, and angel with angel wings and a halo looking part. Ghost and zombie pikmin could become a thing in haunted/horror areas, and you could find a way to keep mushroom pikmin. I also came up with the idea of mixing/breeding pikmin. Like you could get a magenta pikmin that's both heavy, strong, and fire resistant or a rainbow pikmin that's like a mixture of the original 3. I also had "superfied" pikmin. Like blue, red, and white could have, sapphire, ruby, and pearl respectively and just basically have all stats perked up. The file may still be somewhere in that orange floppy disc... where ever it is...
I might have one: Song Pikmin. Orange, leaf in the shape of a musical note, puzzles revolve around sound, opposable thumbs as a trait(traits such as Reds have nose, Yellows Ears, Blues Gills/mouths, etc.) Love ya vids, thanks for seeing this
3rd and COOL, i love Pikmin and all the content you are like me if I was as skilled in UA-cam as you i would totally do this. My favourite type here was the Mud Pikmin because they probably be accesed with blue Pikmin and they are my favourite.
It would be interesting if the carnivourous pikmin didn't have an onion, but instead ate fallen enemies themselves, then manually splitting into new pikmin.
Combining the "undifferentiated, no ability" Pikmin together with the Bulbmin: - Pikmin can't swim and isn't immune to any hazards, thrown exactly like any other - Normal strength, speed, etc. - Use it to kill small things like weevils, water dumples, or dwarf bulborbs and it parasitically controls them, turning them into hazard-resistant minions with good damage output and possibly all sorts of other benefits of flight or different throwing trajectories - Can't infect something with sufficient armor plating or goo surface - Can't be put away in the onion - like the original Bulbmin, its animal body still craves food (particularly other Pikmin) so the challenge is to toss it into a Candy Pop of some sort before sundown. Maybe no matter what color the candy pop is, 1/5 are always parasitic Pikmin, explaining how you multiply them when they can't carry creatures back to the onion Just a fully fleshed out Bulbmin and maybe the mushroom ones together could fill in the gaps of a "new" Pikmin type.
It would be interesting to see larger pikmin. Not huge, but larger than a captain. They could swim through substances that the Captains couldn't travel through, and carry 1 captain on their back. I imagine them as quadrupedal green creatures with large flowers, or maybe lillypad like platforms, on a short stem on their back. Instead of being thrown, they would follow food thrown similar to bomb rocks.
Daz what if the "blank" pikmin are orange since the pikmin resemble pikpik carrots. actually in pikmin 2 you can hack them into the game and they have no strengths and act like any other pikmin so basically blank pikmin.
my idea is digging pikmin they can dig very deep underground and can build deep tunnels though they go to deep underground to notice anything too close to the ground like stuff white pikmin can see only when white pikmin start digging can digging pikmin be alerted and start joining them, also the pikmin can carry other pikmin and crewmembers, this could be useful for areas you otherwise cant reach like areas with no other way then using digging pikmin (maybe call them brown pikmin)
I had this idea for a bling pikmin, probably nocturnal or cave dwelling. It could have large fake eyes (like a snake), and maybe could detect invisible/ completely buried objects like white pikmin. Also maybe would make a warning sound when an enemy is coming.
*Blob Pikmin* (different from slime Pikmin) Visuals: Orange, transparent, made completely out of a semi-solid substance, blue-eyed Combat: Low damage, takes a long time to be shaken off enemies due to its stickiness, cannot be _eaten_ Abilities: Can phase through grating (baskets, fences, colanders), can go inside certain entrance pipes and be blown out exit pipes like vacuum tubes in Portal 2 (if you can think of any other benefits, list them below) Cons: Instantly dissolves in water, dies faster to all other elemental hazards, is blown into pieces in wind
Idea: purple pikmin. I know, we already have them, but they need an overhaul. A few ideas: -they no longer stun enemies nor do the ludicrous amounts of damage -they follow you at the speed of the other pikmin, but have a slower carrying speed (high makes sense because they're doing the work of 10 pikmin, making them stronger -they are immune to most major knockback like wind, and don't die in explosions, due to the fact that they stay grounded. -if we collect something like building materials, we could have them inhale mud, sand, and other flexible materials. They'd be Iimmobile, but could be carried to the onion by other pikmin. That gives them an ability, an immunity, and a weakness that doesn't slow you down. New purple pikmin- yes or no? Further balancing?
An idea for a new spray could be super spray (the name could be changed), which magnifies a pikmin's abilities. However, it only works when you have one type in your group, and it only affects one pikmin. It also would only be accessible where the berries grow(on cave ceilings), as it evaporates when you leave. Examples of the spray's affect on pikmin: -Red pikmin would shoot flames out of their nose, which could destroy flammable/meltable walls/obstacles/enemies -Yellow pikmin would generate a strong electrical charge that could stun enemies, or complete circuits without all the pikmin you need to complete it -Blue pikmin could do one of three things: walk on top of water, give other pikmin the ability to swim temporarily, or spray water at certain objects -Purple pikmin could become super heavy and/or super strong -White pikmin could either spray acid (as they do in the shorts) or create a cloud of pikmin-friendly poison -Rock pikmin could become temporarily as strong as purple pikmin (when purple pikmin are not available or scarce), leave a trail of spiky crystals, or become must stronger when thrown -Pink pikmin could become stronger in carrying or combat, fly higher/faster, or even be able to carry other pikmin -Bulbmin could grow into a small emperor bulblax, a small empress bulblax, or an adult bulbmin -Puffmin could either become cured or friendly Some enemy ideas: -One-legged bulborb (enemy) -These bulborbs are stronger and faster than a normal bulborb, but can be toppled over if enough pikmin latch on. They slip if they walk over water or mud, and slip often during rain. -Webbed long-legs (miniboss) -This long-legs is half the size of a beady long legs, but can trap pikmin in webs, allowing it to step on them more easily. This enemy is based off the fact that you can see the shadow of a "spider" web in pikmin 2/3 where you fight a long-legs. -Claw bulborb (tough enemy) -This bulborb behaves like a bulborb in its movement, and can dig up buried items (including pikmin sprouts), except whatever is being collected by the player . -Golden bulborb -This extremely rare and fast bulborb drops rare gear when squashed, like a flint beetle. However, it can eat pikmin in its way. It cannot be killed, but the more you attack, the faster it gets. I would add more, but I already spent over 40 minutes on this comment, and it's 12:30 AM right now.
Fairy Pikmin: -Able to fly -Can use their ‘fairy dust’ to plant Pikmin -Can also use their ‘fairy dust’ to confuse enemies -When yeeted, can fly super high -When they die, their fairy dust just explodes like a firework, doesn’t do anything, but an amazing sight to see -May or may not have caused whoever is the protagonist of Pikmin 4 to crash (a joke)
Pikmin 4 idea: PSI Pikmin (Fuchsia color)- can levitate like Winged Pikmin, fire mental blasts at enemies, have a PSI shield that can make it immune to any attack once, and when they lock on to enemies, they can fuse together into a friendly version of an enemy to attack the targeted enemy. The creature they transform is dependent on how many PSI Pikmin are charging. 1-10: Male Sheargrub 11-20: Dwarf Bulborb 21-40: Hermit Crawmad 41-60: Bearded Amprat 61-79: Red Bulborb 80-100: Burrowing Snagret They stay in their combined creature phase until they either get whistled back, are defeated, or finish off the creature they were attacking. When this happens, the creature will slowly glow Pink and then fade into petals as the PSI Pikmin turn back to their previous selves.
Carnivourous pumpkin could eat "food" and then go into the ground and cause a new pikmin to form near them, the stats of that pikmin depending on the amount of food that pumpkin ate, so that you could pluck both of them later. These could also have an onion to go to at the end of the day for transportation, or be required to stay in the area they were born in to limit the usefulness of breeding the perfect pikmin.
+Dazz Reviews one of my Ideas is of a pikmin that looks like it has green rocky portions (similar to the bomb rocks only green instead of orange) and they would explode on either an enemy and stuns it or would explode on certain areas and forms a temporary bridge/climbable wall. The Inspiration is a species that some of it's soldier's will explode on invaders in order to trap the invaders.
Booster pikmin: -doesn't attack -can't carry things -does damage when eaten -if it dies it revives all the dead pikmin in the zone -if it dies it sprays nectar on the alive pikmins
Here's a really good idea for new pikmin. Rather than MAKING new pikmin, there's a way to now make DUAL-TYPE pikmin through environmental things like pikmin 2 through Candypop buds. A flying/red pikmin would make up the flying pikmins weaknesses of being weak. You'd sacrifice one pikmin to turn it into the other. This could also be used as the "Transparent" pikmins canvas as well, it'd copy one pikmin then you would sacrifice a pikmin into it for the dual effect. They could also have a candypop bud flower sprout spots instead to indicate which ones it is( A red/blue pikmin with the candypop bud sprout would have red/blue spots on it)
Clear Pikmin, they can eat fireflies to light up an area for a limited time, or drink glowing nectar to glow for the rest of they day. When not glowing, they are completely invisible to enemies unless carrying something or attacking. (However, not all enemies rely on sight) Clawed Pikmin that are capable of digging their claws into walls they're thrown into. They can jump off to ambush enemies or they can climb along the walls to reach higher ledges or obstacles. Additionally, they can burrow underground to chase after burrowing enemies and find underground items. Jelly Pikmin are amorphous. Like Rock Pikmin, they don't cling to enemies. They bounce off but also deal very little damage. However, they also bounce off of walls and can be used to reach difficult to reach areas. Their main use, though, is their unique ability to.merge together. They can be thrown into special containers to create one large jelly Pikmin that deals extra damage on collision and explodes into it's smaller versions when thrown. Additionally, they jelly Pikmin can take on various shapes and merge into temporary bridges or ramps if thrown into properly-shaped containers.
I think that the transparent Pikmin should be able to lure predators out and also disguise you and other pikmin so that way you don’t have to fight every single enemy you come across because you’re worried that it’s going to kill your Pikmin. honestly I like the idea of the transparent Pikmin
Here are my ideas for Pikmin in Pikmin 4. Tailed Pikmin can hang on to vines with there tails and jump across them to launch onto enemies. Multi Pikmin are Pikmin that don't have leaves, buds, or flowers. there are multiple Pikmin with connecting stems. they count as many Pikmin for hurting enemies and carrying, but as one on the 100 Pikmin counter. If one of them dies they would all die. Flying squirrel (maybe thats a bad name) Pikmin could glide on wind and if 5 glided they could hold a captain. Shadow Pikmin could hide in tall grass, bushes, or anything else the game designers want them to hide in. You could put them around a corner and lure an enemy at them. They would jump out and have the power to do double damage if they ambushed the enemy, as well as stun them for the others to attack. After watching your video I love the ideas of spring Pikmin. I think the idea of them wall jumping to ambush an enemy is amazing. It could be a way to get the first hit, which I feel is important in Pikmin
All these crazy Ideas just make me wanna see Nintendo's actual ideas even more. So far all the official Pikmin types were very easy to understand and intuitive to use, but also changed up the gameplay significantly. The last 2 in particular weren't just another hazard-specific Pikmin like Reds, Yellows, Blues or Whites, and they also weren't just better at one thing than all the others, they actually changed how the basic Pikmin behavior works, without making them completely disconnected from the other Pikmin. You still throw Rock Pikmin, but instead of latching on, they do damage on impact. Wing pikmin still carry stuff, but now they do it through the air. They seem obvious in hindsight, so I'm really wondering if Nintendo can come up with more obvious-in-hindsight ones for Pikmin 4.
I’ve an idea! Weed Pikmin. These Pikmin are support types, using their root-like feet to tunnel through the ground and hold an enemy still. Alternatively, they could use their roots to hold still against wind attacks, or use their weeds to drain the water out of an area. They could also use their weed-like powers to kill a thorny flower growing on a wall, allowing other Pikmin to then destroy said wall. They would be green in colour, and they would have a rose as a flower. Lastly, I’m not sure if they should have an onion, or have to use candypop buds to boost their population.
some ideas \/ a clawed pikmin that has an immunity of being in a bubble as it's claws can pop it, it also cuts plants and vines that the rest can't, it will also be harder for the enemies to shake it off repulsive pikmin that won't get eaten by most enemies and can enter trashy areas, but will make pikmin not join your team dark pikmin that won't get seen in dark areas and when 5, will cover the player making him unvisabul to the enemies a mechanic that would be nice would be a special move when you have 100 of 1 type of pikmin, say 100 pink pikmin will take you to a cloudy area, or 100 yellow will make then all chain making them glow, or 100 rock will make the floor break, showing an underground area... just ideas
shadow pikmin -go invisible while standing, holding a object or attacking -immune to sunset and enemies killing it (enemies ignore these pikmin except if they attack they will only shake them off) -dies to any other hazard instantly -weakest pikmin -only obtainable from pikmin drinking a special black nectar you get from killing a certain enemy -if enemies see it holding a object the enemies will run away (Only works if all the pikmin holding the object are shadow pikmin and does not work on bosses) -kinda slow how shadow pikmin look like : half transparent while not in invisible mode, black color, only has 1 eye with no pupil
Maybe the dimensional Pikmin could be used to create shortcuts that would allow areas to be much wider without it taking most of the day to get to one place. For example, imagine a gateway-ish structure around some maps, and when you use some dimensional Pikmin on it, it'll open up a rift that is connected to another gateway. Open up both gateways and now you have your shortcut.
the person who runs pikfic.tumblr.com made a pikmin that's larger than teh average pikmin because it has boyant 'fat' and is able to carry pikmin on it's lilypad rather than having a flower. also i think you'd really enjoy that blog, they are really good at writing down teh captains inner thoughts and giving the pikverse so much depth
Tree Pikmin! A more mightier version of a normal Pikmin. 1. Can move as fast as the leader/captain. 2. When It's fed nectar/left in the ground long enough. It will become a Blossom Tree Pikmin! 3. Able to extend It's branches to make ways for other Pikmin to get to higher places! 4. Can grow 3 or 4 berries when needed if there's not much fruit left in the area. 5. Can turn it's leaves into Venus fly traps to kill smaller enemy's like female/male sheergrubs!
i have three pikmin types! These are... Green pikmin: instead of one leaf, it has two It can revive other pikmin but cannot revive its own, it can pass through glass and rock walls and are really good diggers! They are stubby but has long arms and have plump bodies and are one of the small pikmin Bug pikmin: they are orange and are really good climbers! And also have two pairs of arms, they also have a sort of abdomen instead of a torso. They have long legs and they have a head in the shape of a cone *BUT* the point of the cone wouldn't be on the top but would have the point on the front kind of like a nose. They can latch on enemies and are unable to be shaken off and would be able to fly only when charging. Brown pikmin: it would be really interesting, since i would imagine as it could be the largest pikmin and would be extremely good fighters, and when thrown they would stun they enemy, would be able to carry the enemy that they killed on there own, instead of the typical leaf that pikmin have normally, they would have pine tree leafs and when they flower they could have a pinecone that would be able to smash crystals twice as much as rock pikmin do on its own. Anyways those were my ideas!
How about Sticky Pikmin You know how Ants sometimes form into bridges. Well Sticky Pikmin can do that. And they can be Light Blue They can't be shaken of easily by enemies or players in BINGO BATTLE. Since Light Blue Pikmin exist. Watch the best ending for Pikmin 1. They should look like the standard Pikmin. But they look kinda sludgy. Also you could be able to find orange Pikmin. Who are 'bulbmin' they look are featureless and have literally no strengths, they should be weak and slow. But if it is consumed by a juvenile Bulborb. The Bulbmin will attack the Bulborb front he inside. The Bulborb will die, then transform. The Night Pikmin Unless they attack a sleeping enemy. They can't wake up one. And if they are left behind, they will just be forced into the ground. They should be tiny, and have a unique noise, which sounds echoey and creepy. The Night Pikmin should be able to go onto slopes. And also creatures that are awake can not notice them.
Digger Pikmin They are green and have hand-shaped leafs They can dig faster and better than other Pikmin and, attack enemies from underground like the Burrowing Sangret They can throw bomb rocks instead of having to place them down They don't have anything like mouths/ears/noses/goggles The leaf cannot be transformed into a flower or bud
An idea of mine is the mushlin. A pikmin that can be used at night, and if it shakes it spore (bud), it can light up an area, scaring away night predators, and allowing daytime pikmin to explore the area
how bout different story modes that involve different types of pikmin? Olimar and louie could have the original 3 colours and the koppaietes could have just the rock and winged, or all captains can meet up and decide which types of pikmin to take with them. being able to chose which captain's story to take on, with the other captains as a "meanwhile" kind of thing. y'know, like sonic adventure.
Parasite pikmin: they can posses small enemies such as dwarf bulborbs and use their traits to it's advantage,it only works with small enemies (so no red bulborbs or bosses) perhaps it could take over a sheerwig to fly like winged pikmin? Or a puckering minnow or wogpole to swim? You can't carry enemy corpses back to your base so what you do instead is put the Pikmin in the onion while possessing a creature, and since enemies can't enter the onion the Pikmin exits the body and the body transforms to more parasite pikmin! It'd probably be hard to make a parasite look charming though so it probably won't become a reality.
My idea for a slime Pikmin is that they couldn't be eaten; both tasting bad and having a hagfish-like ability that fills enemies mouths with slime, making them unable to eat temporarily and get spit out. Also your idea that a dndylion Pikmin could walk on water could bee used for a ice Pikmin, freezing water and making temporary paths for other pikmin.
I recenly found a piece of paper listing 3 Pikmin ideas I had written god knows how long ago. Two of the ideas somewhat aligned to ideas mentioned in these videos (thorns and light), but one of them I haven't seen yet, a Mole-Pikmin. I decided to draw these three Pikmin types and think it might be a nice contribution to this discussion, but I don't know how to share it...
The dark matter Pikmin could have a radius around them that shows the opposite dimension, this would let you find alternate dimension stuff just by having a dark matter Pikmin walk near it. Or there could be obstacles in their dimension that doesn't exist in your dimension, so you and all the other Pikmin can go past it, but they can't until it's broken.
6:18 , the home of the kingmin, and his subjects, he is the keeper of the white and purple onings, he joins the crew after being attacked by the Umiiboso.
For slime pikmin, perhaps if there was like, a gust of air protruding from somewhere, they could act like a balloon or parachute by morphing their bodies and either carry a captain across or carry an item over it (since wing pikmin couldn't get past the gust)
Idea: vine Pikmin, it can create vines so Pikmin can swing on it and get to other platforms, save Pikmin stuck in ditches or pools, and tie enemies, giving an opening for Pikmin attacks.
Lotus blossom Pikmin. Whenever you toss them at something like the ground or water, they 'bloom' into mock-up lotus blossoms, allowing them to hide from enemies and be used as bridges across water for other Pikmin.
Imagine if there were “Ultra Pikmin” of every type. What I mean by “Ultra” is the Pikmin themselves use their elements. Red Pikmin would now be Fire Pikmin, and their leaf/bud/flower is engulfed in flames. They could shoot fire from their leaf like fiery blowhogs, and the range and damage increases when they go to their next leaf stage. Yellow Pikmin would be Electric Pikmin, and they would be completely electrified. If you get enough on one enemy, it temporarily cannot attack and takes a ton of damage from being shocked. Blue Pikmin are now Water Pikmin, and they can shoot/spit saltwater from their gills/mouth. This could temporarily blind the enemy, meaning it won’t attack, or even attack its own allies by accident. They could also leave a trail of water, and it could be used to trick fire enemies into it and they would be extinguished, leaving them open to attack by any Pikmin. Stuff like that. Also, for the Hologram Pikmin, maybe you could hold them with A as if you were getting ready to throw them, and you could walk through thin walls.
An idea I always thought would be cool is to have a Carnivorous Pikmin that you would have to keep feeding and if they got to hungry they would turn on you and try to eat their captain. This would make the enemies a lot more of a valuable resource rather than just another obstacle to try and avoid or get rid of. I would have them be only available at night and immune to most if not all hazards to help balance things out a bit. The only way for you to get more would be via candy pop bud allowing you to convert any Pikmin left behind into these night time carnivorous Pikmin since they wouldn't be bringing anything back to any onions.
you could replace the concept of mud Pikmin with slime, along with them being able to work similar to them. they could also be able to survive explosives. however, they wont go unscathed and will splatter and will eventually re-construct themselves. to understand this more simpler, just remember the mysterious life form when a bomb rock is opposed against it. also the blank Pikmin seems like an interesting idea but what could happen in terms to how they get to become a different type, is that i.e. the first hazard they come into contact with becomes their immunity. this could happen in the sense of with fire, water, poison and electricity it would absorb that and gain the colour that respectively is immune to it. for purples it would be leaving them to have to carry an item that is too heavy for them and quickly becoming stronger. for rock Pikmin it would have to be either being crushed or throwing them at crystallised structures.however, thinking of how they would go from blank to wing Pikmin was difficult to think of. either they carry an item with wing Pikmin only, instructing them to lift a fluke weed. i'm unsure about them but, this would seem like a plausible method for the to go through to get from blank to the desired type.
Okay, hear me out. A vampiric nighttime pikmin that is used in a battle mode where a player using normal pikmin have to use careful strategy and traps to kill the opposing vampire pikmin. The vampire pikmin wouldn't have to be completely invulnerable to normal pikmin, it would just have to have enough of an advantage winning a straight up fight wouldn't happen. Could add some insane replayability to pikmin 4.
An enemy in another dimensional plane that crosses over when you see it and hunts you down is a really cool concept. Would certainly make getting treasure from the other side more of a risk
im thinking of a super intelligent pikmin that could make weapons armor and contraptions out of things like wood stone and metal that you find while running around but you could only have one in each squad. maybe one of these could fight you for pikmin freedom. maybe some of the gear they make is a sword and shield that would increase damage and block attacks, and a catapult to launch a bunch of pikmin or rocks, and scuba armor to allow non blues to go underwater for a limited amount of time. so what do you think this pikmin should be able to make and what do you think of it in general?
I've got ideas for new types of Pikmin myself, but to explain what makes them different from other Pikmin, I'll have to explain what game they're used for. Separate types of Purple Pikmin: I've been thinking about a game that has the player, and it's Pikmin moving very slowly, and very heavy so they're hard to through, so it would require planning, and strategy. The Purple Pikmin from Pikmin 2 will be ideal for this game, they're heavy, slow, and require a plan to be used properly. Fortunately the Purple Pikmin are bulky, they have a heavy thud when thrown which can stun nearby creatures, and can carry ten times as much as any regular Pikmin. Still, Purple Pikmin are not immune to any hazard, but may be required to like... Weigh down some type of creature, that can't be stopped any other way. I built on this game idea for some time, and happen to make a game that takes the Purple Pikmin to their full potential, imagine semi-purple Pikmin that are only half as strong as regular Purple Pikmin that can breath underwater, or are immune to fire depending on if they're bluish-purple Pikmin, or reddish-purple Pikmin, then the idea of different types of Purple Pikmin came to mine. Imagine if somebody came to PNF-404, and only found Purple Pikmin, and had to grow seeds of them in the right type of environment so they adapt to elements to get Pikmin with the immunities they don't have. Parasite Pikmin: I got the idea of this game from the already semi-existing Parasite Pikmin that was the Bulbmin, what if there was a game that had the player commanding not Pikmin, but other creatures of PNF-404 infected by the Pikmin Parasite. Imagine Bulborbs, Blowhogs, and sear grubs all with Pikmin stems on their head, and tearing down walls with the captains command. I was just thinking that the Parasite Pikmin will have to appear in this game in its true form, that would be exciting.
My exact idea
@@mikinarok9747 , they would return and possess smaller enemies. No big bogies!
I am pretty sure everyone want to see what the parasitic Pikmin looks like
@@mikinarok9747 them only living as Bulbmin could be easily retconned in a future game though. Just say they evolved to control more creatures. Lots of parasites do that in real life. Many parasites favor a few target host species, but have the ability to survive and reproduce in other species that may share similar biological structures.
Acid pikmin
-can survive poison,acid and water.
-if a small enemy(dwarf orange bulborb for example)eats it,they instantly die and spit it out(only works on small enemies).
-they can melt through walls of iron, something that pikmin and bomb rocks can't.
-When aimed at the eyes of a bulborb, the bulborb gets blinded for 8 seconds
-looks like a slime made out of acid with a leaf.
It would be cool if the mud pikmin can shoot at an ememys eyes and block its sights of view and not be able to see PIKMIN attacks
Landon Gill yeah or less acuracy
sand pikmin
-able to bury themselves making them immune to sunset
-can carry things from under the object to the onion without being seen
-if it dies in fire the next day it is replanted as a glass pikmin
-dies to water instantly (kind of like electricity in pikmin 2)
-enemies who eat it gets a little bit of health lost
-used to discover caves
(bonus) glass pikmin
-can only be sprouted through a sand pikmin dying in fire
-dainty dies quicker
-if dropped from high enough it will shatter if you whistle it will reform if you through other pikmin at it they will use it as swords
-can be filled up with water and put fire out faster then reds can stays in ship like purple or white pikmin
Imagine Miles I like this idea.
Gener1c Yeah man, this would be awesome if it happened. Especially the Glass Pikmin. I like that part of the Sand bois turning into Glass bois.
Making the sand Pimin immune to sunset would remove the frantic, yet fun, search for your Pikmin at sunset.
Just a Licenced Internet Funnyman They weak tho
It could work if you removed the “can carry things from under the object without being seen”, because that is exetremely op
I got 3 ideas 2 for pickmin and 1 power up
Cactus Pickmin: You’d find them in a desert area and they have spikes all over their body. These would be green
Glider pickmin: Their like what you get before winged. Instead of having a great throwing arc you throw them out and the glide to your target. They’re kinda like the real life squirrel things. Idk what color this would be
Bioluminescence power up thing: You’d just give it to one of your pickmin and they would let out a light. The color of the light depends on the color of the pickmin and it would not work on rock pickmin and if you want to go full out you could make a whole new pickmin out of this it could maybe have a recharge time or have to sit in the sun for a while to recharge. It could be a light gray or a whitish yellow
Stalin, stop helping us make Pikmin and get back to helping Russia go Soviet again!
Nah but seriously though for the bioluminescence thing, maybe the Pikmin who get powered up can have a mushroom on their head instead of a flower and they can briefly stun an enemy by shining a bright light in the opponent’s eyes.
@Martinaitalia and Maria what?
@Martinaitalia and Maria did you just get your oc to back you up?
@Martina🇧🇷 S quadriplegic achievement quip quip webm²Ottawa puff rory 1-0-0-6
@@jackemled_but_gay theyre virtually useless though
@@superdoop5 Well yeah, you aren't intended to have them to use, there supposed to be enemies.
@@jackemled_but_gay i know i was just saying
Bellmin:
Can be distracting to enemies
And is made of metal
OLIMAR can hear them from a mile away
And maybe they can start making noise at the Sunset so you can know exactly where they are (By an Indicator, not just the sound)
Here's a few i've been thinking about for quite some time:
MORTAR PIKMIN:
-Mortar Pikmin are ranged support for their colorful brethren, and provide good backup for them aswell.
CYAN PIKMIN:
-I wanted to think outside of the box for this one, and I did quite. Cyan Pikmin are when a Pikmin is exposed to harmful chemicals while developing, and because of this, they develop large boils that swell up on their back. These boils are filled with adhesive compounds that burst when the Pikmin dies, trapping the enemy that killed it.
ORANGE PIKMIN:
-Again, more thinking.
GREEN PIKMIN:
-Got bored and couldn't think anymore, so its your normal Green Pik that has 2 stems, allowing it to attack twice as fast. It is immune to chemical/radioactive hazards.
🤣🤣 koopa pikmin
I want a pikmin that can be eaten and when eaten turns into whatever it was eaten by like the bulbman
Ah yes, the parasitic pikmin
dank station yea! You can get introduced by olimar when they get shown getting eaten and turned into that enemy, saying is that the parasite controling bubmin and ext
so...parasite pikmin?
Here's an idea.
A Multidimensional pikmin.
Immune to everything. When idle, it will copy the oppisite movement of the current captain, but when out of bounds will teleport to the onion. To balance it out, it will be unable to attack anything.
Carnivore pikmin(you pick the color)
-able to eat enemies and then shoot out seeds
-above average attack
-everything else is average
-they who have a tube on its back to shoot it out
Downside
-if not kept in check can eat other pikmin but no seeds come out
Here's an idea, a giant
pikmin.
So Ice is the type we are getting, and I think it will be the only new type for Pikmin 4.
Glow Pikmin exists
Yes, but through them to gain control, small guys only, and it's permanent, the possessed can live in the union unchanged for the night.
I'd say the dandelion pikmin could be light and weigh 0.5 pikmin like purple pikmin weighing more and the dandelion pikmin could walk on crumbling bridges that you need to cross to reinforce
but yellow pikmin fill that role, being canonically lighter
2:30 also maybe spring Pikmin could bounce on enemies so maybe they couldn’t get shaken off enemies as easily?
Tropical wilds was a jungle next to a beach
Yea your right. But i would like being in a dence area with vegetation grown all over.
Too o.p.
But the no-death run people would hate that.
Electric Gaming maybe there could also be a alternative option to complete a puzzle using a pikmin found later in the game
I think a good one would be green glowing Pikmin that can light up areas and flash to stun enemies
SyncsMyth
pikpik carrots were only for testing purposes, they aren't actually pikmin
If you pause at the exact moment at 14:25, you’ll see a black substance with yellow eyes
Or maybe it’s just my iPad glitching
Oh no, IT'S REAL!
The Kirby golf game you were thinking of is Kirby’s Dream Course, DazzReviews
Pikmin titans. They're human sized and have trees instead of leaves. Scares the ever living crap out of every single enemy and should probably only be used as a level gimmick against the final boss or something.
I think just using them as a level gimmik and/or using it against a boss.
Gabe The Doggo
Yeah that would probably be the best course of action.
or only have a set lemit to how may can be out
What if you fight a puff-stool that corrupted it And afterwords it helps you in the final boss
Or a pikmin tha at gows over time by eating nectar. (Still gimmicky)
1. Can be lit on fire dealing damage in most cases
2. Slips occasionally, which knocks non-oil pikmin off and stuns the enemy
Alternatively you could add oil and glue pikmin together as a sort of movement duo.
Ideas for the third state could be
1. Immunity while carrying items (burrowing when threatened or simply unappealing)
2. Will not only deliver items, but also either head back to the leader, or into their onion if they can’t find a path back
A video called Pikmin Hybrids has something called "Mud resistant pikmin".
@@FileStorage-dt5gq my comment predates that video by almost 2 years man.
Not saying they stole it, it’s an obvious idea but you might want to check how old the comment you are replying to is in the future.
@@techpriestsalok8119 I just wanted to DIRECT you to a video that talks about what you want.
@@FileStorage-dt5gq ah I see. Thank you.
@@techpriestsalok8119 You are welcome.
I made a seasonal Pikmin once.
And a ton more.
Like for example a "Pixelmin" which lets the captain enter a wall and turn pixelated like a link between worlds.
Oh yes also a sunflower Pikmin which can produce nectar somehow.
The Plasm Pikmin you defeated reform from their plasm after the Wraith has gone through the portal, now on your side, they open the portal back up to let you go through, cheering you on in their Pikmin language as you enter the portal to go take down the Plasm Wraith once and for all in his very own dimension.
i like that walking on water idea so..here ya go
Spider pikmin
-able to walk along water
-can weave web bridges for the player
-can use webs to hold down enemies
-when it dies smaller spider pikmin will be born
-they also can play into the fang idea but with venom
-they can see better because they have more then two eyes
I have had three ideas for Pikmin for while, and I’d like to share them. However, it turns out some of the ideas sound really similar to yours, so keep that in mind.
Cyan Pikmin:
These guys are the same color as the mushrooms in Pikmin 3’s caves, and the also glow.
Drill Pikmin:
These ones are orange, and their stems vaguely resemble drills.
Thorned Pikmin:
These are green, and their stems have thorns, and the flower is a rose.
The double pikmin could just be an RNG pluck.
Also the transparent pikmin could be made in a lab module with the salvage treasure for bases idea.
Love your idea.
Make more!!! :D
I'll see if anything comes to mind :)
I think also remember grays being not being killed by explosions or something.
Id like ulockable costumes for pikmin
Combining the "undifferentiated, no ability" Pikmin together with the Bulbmin:
- Pikmin can't swim and isn't immune to any hazards, thrown exactly like any other
- Normal strength, speed, etc.
- Use it to kill small things like weevils, water dumples, or dwarf bulborbs and it parasitically controls them, turning them into hazard-resistant minions with good damage output and possibly all sorts of other benefits of flight or different throwing trajectories
- Can't infect something with sufficient armor plating or goo surface
- Can't be put away in the onion - like the original Bulbmin, its animal body still craves food (particularly other Pikmin) so the challenge is to toss it into a Candy Pop of some sort before sundown. Maybe no matter what color the candy pop is, 1/5 are always parasitic Pikmin, explaining how you multiply them when they can't carry creatures back to the onion
Just a fully fleshed out Bulbmin and maybe the mushroom ones together could fill in the gaps of a "new" Pikmin type.
The carrots?
DLJB yes pikpik carrots are coded in the game and can be used ingame if you can hack sorry I was unclear.
preserved_mush no there isn’t
my idea is digging pikmin
they can dig very deep underground and can build deep tunnels though they go to deep underground to notice anything too close to the ground like stuff white pikmin can see only when white pikmin start digging can digging pikmin be alerted and start joining them, also the pikmin can carry other pikmin and crewmembers, this could be useful for areas you otherwise cant reach like areas with no other way then using digging pikmin (maybe call them brown pikmin)
Sorry but white Pikmin can dig and see better so yeah
Nvm I read the hole thing
I had this idea for a bling pikmin, probably nocturnal or cave dwelling. It could have large fake eyes (like a snake), and maybe could detect invisible/ completely buried objects like white pikmin. Also maybe would make a warning sound when an enemy is coming.
*Blob Pikmin* (different from slime Pikmin)
Visuals: Orange, transparent, made completely out of a semi-solid substance, blue-eyed
Combat: Low damage, takes a long time to be shaken off enemies due to its stickiness, cannot be _eaten_
Abilities: Can phase through grating (baskets, fences, colanders), can go inside certain entrance pipes and be blown out exit pipes like vacuum tubes in Portal 2
(if you can think of any other benefits, list them below)
Cons: Instantly dissolves in water, dies faster to all other elemental hazards, is blown into pieces in wind
Idea: purple pikmin. I know, we already have them, but they need an overhaul. A few ideas:
-they no longer stun enemies nor do the ludicrous amounts of damage
-they follow you at the speed of the other pikmin, but have a slower carrying speed (high makes sense because they're doing the work of 10 pikmin, making them stronger
-they are immune to most major knockback like wind, and don't die in explosions, due to the fact that they stay grounded.
Examples of the spray's affect on pikmin:
-Red pikmin would shoot flames out of their nose, which could destroy flammable/meltable walls/obstacles/enemies
-Yellow pikmin would generate a strong electrical charge that could stun enemies, or complete circuits without all the pikmin you need to complete it
-Blue pikmin could do one of three things: walk on top of water, give other pikmin the ability to swim temporarily, or spray water at certain objects
-Purple pikmin could become super heavy and/or super strong
-White pikmin could either spray acid (as they do in the shorts) or create a cloud of pikmin-friendly poison
-Rock pikmin could become temporarily as strong as purple pikmin (when purple pikmin are not available or scarce), leave a trail of spiky crystals, or become must stronger when thrown
-Pink pikmin could become stronger in carrying or combat, fly higher/faster, or even be able to carry other pikmin
-Bulbmin could grow into a small emperor bulblax, a small empress bulblax, or an adult bulbmin
-Puffmin could either become cured or friendly
Some enemy ideas:
-One-legged bulborb (enemy)
-These bulborbs are stronger and faster than a normal bulborb, but can be toppled over if enough pikmin latch on. They slip if they walk over water or mud, and slip often during rain.
-Webbed long-legs (miniboss)
-This long-legs is half the size of a beady long legs, but can trap pikmin in webs, allowing it to step on them more easily. This enemy is based off the fact that you can see the shadow of a "spider" web in pikmin 2/3 where you fight a long-legs.
-Claw bulborb (tough enemy)
-This bulborb behaves like a bulborb in its movement, and can dig up buried items (including pikmin sprouts), except whatever is being collected by the player .
-Golden bulborb
-This extremely rare and fast bulborb drops rare gear when squashed, like a flint beetle. However, it can eat pikmin in its way. It cannot be killed, but the more you attack, the faster it gets.
I would add more, but I already spent over 40 minutes on this comment, and it's 12:30 AM right now.
who knows, there might be another wraith in the game
Fairy Pikmin:
-Able to fly
-Can use their ‘fairy dust’ to plant Pikmin
-Can also use their ‘fairy dust’ to confuse enemies
-When yeeted, can fly super high
-When they die, their fairy dust just explodes like a firework, doesn’t do anything, but an amazing sight to see
-May or may not have caused whoever is the protagonist of Pikmin 4 to crash (a joke)
1-10: Male Sheargrub
11-20: Dwarf Bulborb
21-40: Hermit Crawmad
41-60: Bearded Amprat
61-79: Red Bulborb
80-100: Burrowing Snagret
They stay in their combined creature phase until they either get whistled back, are defeated, or finish off the creature they were attacking.
+Dazz Reviews
one of my Ideas is of a pikmin that looks like it has green rocky portions (similar to the bomb rocks only green instead of orange) and they would explode on either an enemy and stuns it or would explode on certain areas and forms a temporary bridge/climbable wall. The Inspiration is a species that some of it's soldier's will explode on invaders in order to trap the invaders.
Booster pikmin:
-doesn't attack
-can't carry things
-does damage when eaten
-if it dies it revives all the dead pikmin in the zone
-if it dies it sprays nectar on the alive pikmins
(However, not all enemies rely on sight)
Clawed Pikmin that are capable of digging their claws into walls they're thrown into.
Plasm Pikmin, not as an ally but as an enemy type of pikmin to serve a rival role
Lastly, I’m not sure if they should have an onion, or have to use candypop buds to boost their population.
some ideas \/
a clawed pikmin that has an immunity of being in a bubble as it's claws can pop it, it also cuts plants and vines that the rest can't, it will also be harder for the enemies to shake it off
repulsive pikmin that won't get eaten by most enemies and can enter trashy areas, but will make pikmin not join your team
dark pikmin that won't get seen in dark areas and when 5, will cover the player making him unvisabul to the enemies
a mechanic that would be nice would be a special move when you have 100 of 1 type of pikmin, say 100 pink pikmin will take you to a cloudy area, or 100 yellow will make then all chain making them glow, or 100 rock will make the floor break, showing an underground area... just ideas
shadow pikmin
-go invisible while standing, holding a object or attacking
-immune to sunset and enemies killing it (enemies ignore these pikmin except if they attack they will only shake them off)
-dies to any other hazard instantly
-weakest pikmin
-only obtainable from pikmin drinking a special black nectar you get from killing a certain enemy
-if enemies see it holding a object the enemies will run away (Only works if all the pikmin holding the object are shadow pikmin and does not work on bosses)
-kinda slow
how shadow pikmin look like : half transparent while not in invisible mode, black color, only has 1 eye with no pupil
Anyone Here After Pikmin 4 Was Actually Announced?
3. Able to extend It's branches to make
ways for other Pikmin to get to higher places!
4. Can grow 3 or 4 berries when needed if
there's not much fruit left in the area.
5. Can turn it's leaves into Venus fly traps to kill
smaller enemy's like female/male sheergrubs!
i have three pikmin types! These are...
Green pikmin: instead of one leaf, it has two
It can revive other pikmin but cannot revive its own, it can pass through glass and rock walls and are really good diggers!
They are stubby but has long arms and have plump bodies and are one of the small pikmin
Bug pikmin: they are orange and are really good climbers!
How about Sticky Pikmin
You know how Ants sometimes form into bridges.
Well Sticky Pikmin can do that.
And they can be Light Blue
They can't be shaken of easily by enemies or players in BINGO BATTLE.
The Night Pikmin
Unless they attack a sleeping enemy. They can't wake up one. And if they are left behind, they will just be forced into the ground.
They should be tiny, and have a unique noise, which sounds echoey and creepy. The Night Pikmin should be able to go onto slopes. And also creatures that are awake can not notice them.
Cool
Digger Pikmin
They are green and have hand-shaped leafs
They can dig faster and better than other Pikmin and, attack enemies from underground like the Burrowing Sangret
They can throw bomb rocks instead of having to place them down
They don't have anything like mouths/ears/noses/goggles
The leaf cannot be transformed into a flower or bud
An idea of mine is the mushlin. A pikmin that can be used at night, and if it shakes it spore (bud), it can light up an area, scaring away night predators, and allowing daytime pikmin to explore the area
Green pikmin:
Has a whip as it’s stem, can push or whip enemies or items with it’s whip, no immunities.
The two stemmed pikmin could be the only ones to carry items over the ziplines as they are the only ones with free arms when going over them.
If you have two ledges the spring pikmin can bounce up both of them instead of having to use 3 captains
how bout different story modes that involve different types of pikmin? Olimar and louie could have the original 3 colours and the koppaietes could have just the rock and winged, or all captains can meet up and decide which types of pikmin to take with them. being able to chose which captain's story to take on, with the other captains as a "meanwhile" kind of thing. y'know, like sonic adventure.
or better idea choosing which pikmin onions you get for which captains and which ones follow them to an area
Actually olimar alone would have the original 3 and Louie would have whites and purples
6:18 , the home of the kingmin, and his subjects, he is the keeper of the white and purple onings, he joins the crew after being attacked by the Umiiboso.
pikmin chiefs that are smart enough to speak and have trees, not leaves or flowers.
7:30 maybe Fang Pikmin could bite into some sort of zip line which the captains and other Pikmin can grab onto the Fang Pikmin to get down
The slime pikmin will make an enemy unable to eat for a while
Sticky Pikmin
They are green and have the ability to scale walls and possibly ceilings
KRYPT? YOUR A PIKMIN FAN TOO?
what about pikpufferfish.
I can see that you are a pufferfish enthusiast.
yep I even made mods for them in currently 4 different games just because I wouldn't play them without pufferfish xD.

What about puffmin?
you could replace the concept of mud Pikmin with slime, along with them being able to work similar to them. they could also be able to survive explosives. however, they wont go unscathed and will splatter and will eventually re-construct themselves. to understand this more simpler, just remember the mysterious life form when a bomb rock is opposed against it. also the blank Pikmin seems like an interesting idea but what could happen in terms to how they get to become a different type, is that i.e. the first hazard they come into contact with becomes their immunity. this could happen in the sense of with fire, water, poison and electricity it would absorb that and gain the colour that respectively is immune to it. for purples it would be leaving them to have to carry an item that is too heavy for them and quickly becoming stronger. for rock Pikmin it would have to be either being crushed or throwing them at crystallised structures.however, thinking of how they would go from blank to wing Pikmin was difficult to think of. either they carry an item with wing Pikmin only, instructing them to lift a fluke weed. i'm unsure about them but, this would seem like a plausible method for the to go through to get from blank to the desired type.
Smiley pikmin: these pikmin can scare enemies away. Thats it. Thats my idea for an upcoming pikmin game for the switch.
An enemy in another dimensional plane that crosses over when you see it and hunts you down is a really cool concept. Would certainly make getting treasure from the other side more of a risk
Basically hard mode submerged castle
some kind of light pikmin which can be used to iluminate the path,or scare away monsters like the vehemoth phosbat from pikmin 3
Bubble pikmin:
They can go underwater with other pikmin in them so they dont drown, they might be able to float a bit. Though they aren't as strong
im thinking of a super intelligent pikmin that could make weapons armor and contraptions out of things like wood stone and metal that you find while running around but you could only have one in each squad. maybe one of these could fight you for pikmin freedom.
maybe some of the gear they make is a sword and shield that would increase damage and block attacks, and a catapult to launch a bunch of pikmin or rocks, and scuba armor to allow non blues to go underwater for a limited amount of time. so what do you think this pikmin should be able to make and what do you think of it in general?
I was just thinking that the Parasite Pikmin will have to appear in this game in its true form, that would be exciting.
back in the day my brother and i had an idea for camo pikmin that could hide from enemies.
