Yes the QB needed to throw the ball away but that O-line takes some of that blame.
Blocked FG for a TD is my favorite play in football.

IT's amazing what a little pressure will do to someone, you coild tell after the first sack that Grier was off his game. If anyone else loses to Iowa St this year it's b/c they underestimated them and didn't take them seriously.

I know that I'd rather throw the ball away rather then get sacked and lose 5 yds. There is not one NFL coach that'd tear him a new asshole for that. Maybe y'all football in West Virginia just sucks that bad, but here in Texas we at least know what to do when your QB is about to get lit up by a Christmas tree by a team you slept on.

Iowa State is that good and caught WV at the right time. ISU played the nations #1 most difficult schedule so far, had their first game canceled which really set them back and lost their starting QB but now they have a star and will make a lot of Big 12 noise. Plus hardly any seniors on this team and a lot of freshman and sophomores played that game!
