I would rent in a condo first,or rent in one u like to see how thin the walls are etc or if the type of ppl that live there suits u,also is the area a pain in the ass to get around.
Carefull buying one thats too old as the upkeep/fees you pay monthly can be expensive or some people don’t pay the upkeep fees or the managers don’t use the money correctly then it gets run down looking then u will never sell it.
