    Thanks for showing me how to use the ruling pen.....I have one but was never quite sure.

    After ruining a few brushes with the masking fluid and failing with the nib ( Erik Lundgren method) I am now using a bamboo stick
    and it works pretty well and cleans easily. Your little gadget looks very useful and I might have to treat myself in spite of a moratorium on new supplies!!!!

    I might look into this. Normally, I use those wooden rods made to keep plants erect. I sharpen the ends off. Something you said about the ruling pen is it sounds like it delivers a thin mark upon applying it to paper. What I use doesn't always do this and I get a bit of "blobbage" with that first stroke. Thanks for sharing this with us!

    Oh that’s great info thank you. I bought some of those a while back and when I went to clean it wasn’t fun. 😂
