Had a newborn baby girl 2 days ago and been having problems doing the swaddle. Been watching a ton of vids doing it but all of them were too "precise" and had a lot of steps. This one is short and simple and gets the job done. Thank you!
The kid was playing happily...why to swaddle this much tighter?? Not comfortable for his/her muscle,( not a doctor but still say) kid was happy to play freely until he comes. Baby face tells everything.
No. They were restricted in womb for 9months. Swaddling gives them comfort.. as babies have reflexes which startles them. Swaddling gives them the comfort of womb..

As far as i know, swaddling is done since kids are in a particular position before their birth inside its mother but when they are born, their legs n hands are actually bent and need to be straight otherwise their bone may develop that type of structure n at this age their bones are soft so that that can be cured quickly. Their bones get straight n their development do not get affected... This might be wrong but i feel this may be one the reasons behind swaddling.
He is so calm.. my baby flail his arms a lot while swaddling and in less than a minute his arms are free😂

Swaddling is good for babies. Especially new borns as they are used to being inside the mother's womb and it takes time for them to learn to adapt.
They love getting swaddled. It's only not recommended anymore when they start to learn how to roll over.
