Hey audiophiles James, let me tell you this system works. I put one together for $33 including a vacuum pump. The PVC I got for free from Home Depot. No problem I had a drill I could cut it out no issues there have one working in less than 25 minutes. Spent less than $28. Found a vacuum and a secondhand store for $12 can be done and will be done save your money put it together. Simple doesn’t take a rocket scientist. Enjoy guys.
Just bought mine and is coming in the mail got the 33 version. Very excited. I alread made the lazy Susan so just waiting for delivery. I mean a vaccum is a vaccum is a vacuum i just couldn't bring my self to spend 600+ on a vpi machine that does the same thing. Hoping this last me awhile until i get a Humminguru

Brilliant video, just one thing ,how do you keep the other side of the record clean ( B side) when cleaning the A side, Does the liners on the lazy susan do this?
Is there any down-side to air drying your records on a rack? I mean besides the wait time. It's my understanding that distilled water evaporates without leaving any residue or spots.
Thank you for your comment. If you run your records through a cleaning solution and simply air dry them on a rack you are leaving dirt and grime behind that is embedded in the grooves. One of the best ways to truly lift that nasty embedded dirt and grime is to extract it with the Vinyl Vac 33 system.
@@vinylvac thanks for responding. I'll look around there. Also, I just ordered the vinyl vac and it's arriving tomorrow. I'm really excited to try it out!
This 'solution' is way too risky. You're potentially grinding the surface of your records with that paint brush and the padded strips on the vacuum have to be perfectly aligned, clean, and with minimal pressure otherwise you'll scratch the surface of your records. Pleae, be careful with your records.
That DAM flush plug was a little hard to find and the inserted brass piece is not part of the flush plug. So I have to innovate....I was on the "hairy edge " to waste $100 on top of the $50 for my VAC33

Yep!
Combination of the Spin Clean and finish with this Vinyl Vac is very effective for me. I clean brand new records and stuff I buy used. Sounds amazing!
Cleaned my first records yesterday and it really worked! It's easy and kind of fun. Wonderful product.
Wish I had seen this before I bought my Okki Nokki in 2009, doh! Great stuff, Thank you!
Thank you for your kind words.
This technique was pointed out years ago buy a UA-camr named Supra Wes. And I’ve been using it for many years now with great success.

Fantastic video - great solution for enthusiasts with a budget.
Thank you for your positive words!
Use a record dr underneath and the vinyl vac on top. U can dry both sides at once.
simple and effective !
Great Video and Great budget system!! Works Awesome, Thank you!!!
Thanks for the shout-out Ed! Glad to hear this.
Hi, having trouble finding distilled water, would demineralised or deionised water do the same job. Great video.
Yes, those would work just fine. If you are in the states Distilled water can be found at most any grocery store, pharmacy store, Walmart, etc.
Thank you, appreciate your reply.
Cool
Thanks
Very helpful do you just sell the vinyl vac PVC part ?as I seem to have everything else
Looking forward👍

Hi Mike, Thanks for reaching out. I clean the A side and then I lift the easy liner off the lazy susan, shake it and flip it over.
Good observation. Although I haven't noticed any issues, I believe a chammy cloth would work better (as mentioned by Eric Bute below)
@@vinylvac What exactly is a chammy cloth?
that EZ liner stuff LEECHES chemicals that can EAT/ETCH plastics.....and vinyl. I'd use chammy cloth myself
Thanks for the suggestion!
I agree that is a better solution.

Weird question but what song is in the background? It's got a unique sound to it
Hey Ewan, not a weird question at all. I believe it was a selection from the Audio Jungle website. Thanks for reaching out.

@@mwewan5560 Great! Thanks for your order!
Would gorilla glue not work instead of getting a glue gun?
Hi Jay, I'm not sure. I just know if done properly the glue gun holds very well.
Ever hear of Squeaky Clean Vinyl? Of course you have. How silly me.
Well it certainly didn’t work for me, I tried it twice and then bought the Pro-Ject VCE , much better and more stable !
Records only have one groove...
Most have two.
I just use a hair dryer.
With this money acquired a manual machine to cleaning record for 60 dollars!
